Yue Liuyun imdiately released a Divine soul to aid his doppelganger.
However, the deer counterattacked YeLiuyun by sending out a Divine Soul and plunged into Ye Liuyun's Ocean of Consciousness.
Indeed, the Divine Soul's power of the deer was forceful, twice the size of Ye Liuyun's Divine Soul. It was really hard to predict how it would end up if Ye Liuyun didn't release a soul to support his doppelganger.
There was a Devil-sealing Stele standing before Lei Ming, it was uncertain whether the deer could resist its Divine Soul attack. Naturally, it desired to retaliate against the avatar, which has inflicted harm on it.
When Ye Liuyun dispatched his Divine Soul to help his doppelganger, the deer thought its chance of killing Ye Liuyun had erged.
So it decided to eradicate Ye Liuyun first, then eliminate the doppelganger's Divine Soul. By then, without Ye Liuyun's control, it would be a piece of cake to wipe out Lei Ming once the Devil-sealing Stele was no longer active.
But what it did not expect was that the Divine Soul that penetrated Ye Liuyun's Ocean of Consciousness, was the first to be eradicated.
In the Ocean of Consciousness of the doppelganger, it struggled in the Ghostic Fire for a while before being wiped out.
With the elimination of both its Divine Souls, the physical body collapsed imdiately.
Lei Ming exhaled a breath of relief, put away his Golden Bow, and lay down on the ground to rest.
After Ye Liuyun's Divine Soul aided the avatar in devouring the deer's Divine Soul, it returned to his Ocean of Consciousness and absorbed the Divine Soul power that was siphoned off by the Universal God Token.
The three of them stayed and rested at the original place for a while, storing up the deer's corpse in the Spatial World.
"This deer was so strong! It hit so hard that everything was spinning around!" Lei Ming exclaid.
"Its Divine Soul was very powerful too, the body was exceptionally nimble, and it reacted so quickly!" Ye Liuyun also exclaid.
"Did we encounter the strongest in the early stage of Double Progression?" Lei Ming asked.
"Judging by the Divine Soul's power, it's nearly the strongest! Everything else should be average! Its speed and reaction ti, in fact, aren't as fast as the Black Panther's. It's just that the black panther hasn't reached its potential yet," Ye Liuyun explained.

"Shall we take a break then continue to hunt early second-stage feral beasts? Or should we continue fighting these feral beasts rely for satisfaction?" Lei Ming asked Ye Liuyun.
Ye Liuyun, too, wanted to fight with these relatively stronger opponents: "Alright, we will first go back to practice, completely recover, then head out. We cannot underestimate the power of early-stage second-level feral beasts!"
Eventually, the trio returned to drill recovery inside the Xuankong Stone, leaving the Devil Vine to standby.
When they had fully recovered, they continued their search for early second-stage feral beasts.
As per Ye Liuyun's analysis, at this stage, the feral beasts' overall prowess is quite similar, with varying strengths and weaknesses amongst each.
So feral beasts they found relatively easy to confront, whereas others put up a formidable fight.
For example the white ape they encountered, whose petrification ability rendered all their tricks useless. In the end, only Ye Liuyun and his doppelganger's divine soul attacks managed to take it down.
They also t illusion-casting feral beast. Had Ye Liuyun not had the Universal God Token, they would all have been defeated.
Every battle – be it Ye Liuyun, his doppelganger, or Lei Ming – was thrilling, demanding their full concentration and efforts.
"If we keep going like this, our armor probably won't last much longer!" Lei Ming worriedly voiced out.
"That shouldn't be the case. At least, these feral beasts from this realm shouldn't be able to destroy our armor!" Ye Liuyun had assessed the strength of the feral beasts in this realm, feeling confident that the armor could withstand it.
Nonetheless, Lei Ming decided to take off his armor, fearing that with ti, it would get damaged.
"We ought to save these armors for when we desperately fight against the foreign races. We can't afford to scrap them prematurely," Lei Ming remarked.
"That is reasonable!" Ye Liuyun and his doppelganger also followed suit and removed their armor.
"If we are to train then let's train hard and fierce!"
All three of them removed their protective armors, ready to temper and toughen their bodies as well.
Subsequently, whenever they encountered feral beasts, they often got injured, therefore spending more ti resting.
They did not continue to venture further. Instead, they were hunting feral beasts horizontally in the sa realm.
Four to five days passed before they retreated back to the realm of late-stage first-tier feral beasts.
When Ye Liuyun and his crew challenged the late-stage first-tier feral beasts again, it seed much easier.
"Rising to challenges by exceeding one's level really accelerates improvent! Now, these late first-tier feral beasts are ridiculously easy to fight!" Lei Ming expressed in awe.
"Indeed!" Ye Liuyun also agreed to this point of view.
So, he brought out Dragon Lady, Man Shu, Ye Tiandao, and Black Panther to fight against the first-tier late-stage feral beasts.
The Devil Vine, however, was released by Ye Liuyun and it departed to the deep mountains to hunt on its own.
Not long after the Devil Vine left, Ye Liuyun and his team began to hear the roars and howls of fear from feral beasts coming from all directions.
"This guy, how many feral beasts is he attacking at once?" Ye Liuyun smiled wryly.
The Devil Vine has a natural advantage, allowing it to attack countless feral beasts simultaneously. He presud it wouldn't be long before it would return for a nap.
Ye Liuyun and his team didn't mind. But they weren't the only ones using Randelion Forest to train against feral beasts.
The simultaneous roars of so many feral beasts startled other teams too, all thinking sothing major had occurred.
So teams began to retreat imdiately.
The team closest to Ye Liuyun was also rushing in their direction.
Ever since Ye Liuyun devoured the Divine Soul of the elk, his consciousness had expanded to about ten miles out.
He promptly discovered this approaching team.
Ye Liuyun imdiately retracted his doppelganger. This way, when facing the opponent, he could catch them off guard.
The others also stopped and prepared for battle.
