After being reminded by Qiong Qi, Ye Liuyun carefully searched and finally saw the Fire Elf hidden under the yellow sand poking their heads out, but they quickly retreated back into the lava.
"I saw it! But what kind of beast are these?" The Fire Elfs that Ye Liuyun saw were all very bizarre in shape.
So had one eye and one horn, others had green faces and strong teeth, none of which looked like normal feral beast.
"The Fire Elf themselves don't have a specific shape, just like flas. So, they can freely transform into human or beast shapes. I guess so other beasts ca here before, and they transford based on those beasts! Don't be surprised when they transform into us!" Qiong Qi reminded Ye Liuyun and the others again.
Ye Liuyun also noticed that even if so Fire Elfs transford into human forms, they still had sharp teeth and pointed ears on their heads, with eyes as big as bronze bells, which were quite different from human appearances.
The battleship sailed quietly, not very fast.
The others also saw the Fire Elf erging from the lava under the yellow sand, all talking about the weird figures of these Fire Elfs.
A day later, people saw the Fire Elf more and more frequently. Even so Fire Elf would stick out from the yellow sand to observe them.
Each Fire Elf was actually ford from the fla power source. But there were so many Fire Elfs each with its own spiritual intelligence. Ye Liuyun couldn't understand how they ca about.
If so many Fire Elfs all evolved spiritual intelligence, how much ti would that take?
Even Qiong Qi didn't figure that out.
His exploration last ti was limited, so he didn't have a deep understanding of these things.
Not far ahead, Qiong Qi pointed to a sand pit and said to Ye Liuyun, "This is where I was trapped last ti!"
"Just a short distance like this took you years to get out?" Ye Liuyun asked in surprise.
He felt that Qiong Qi wouldn't have taken more than a day rushing back for this distance that the battleship had travelled in about a day. However, Qiong Qi was trapped for several years!
"You don't know how many Fire Elfs attacked ! They were all around last ti and the lava even gushed out!" Qiong Qi explained.
"Then will we face danger if we keep moving forward?" Ye Liuyun asked, beginning to worry.
"According to the scale of their previous attack, we should be able to handle it!"
Just as Qiong Qi finished speaking, a strand of lava spurted from the ground and shot directly at the battleship.
Atop the lava, there was a Fire Elf transford into a figure with the head of a fish and the body of a human, twice the size of Ye Liuyun. It was holding a fork ford by flas, attacking the battleship.
"Boom!"
The battleship shuddered under the impact, but it was just a fluctuation of the Formation. The battleship wasn't damaged.
"Attack!"
Ye Liuyun also issued an order to the puppets, eager to see how effective the battleship's attack was.
Sothing similar to a long spear extended from the battleship and aid at the Fire Elf.
The fish-headed elf was rather curious and looked at the spear.
Suddenly, the spear shot out a ray of white light carrying a chilling chill, instantly freezing the fish-headed elf into a block of ice and shattering it imdiately!
The lava underneath the fish-headed elf swiftly receded back to the ground and shrunk into the yellow sand.
"The effect is not bad!" Qiong Qi noted.
"It's hard to observe the realms of these Fire Elfs!" Ye Liuyun said regretfully.
Qiong Qi told Ye Liuyun, "Look at their bodies! The bigger they are, the more energy they possess and the higher their realm. This Fire Elf is likely at the initial stages of Sacred Terra Realm!"
"A Fire Elf at Sacred Terra Realm just showed up?" Ye Liuyun was worried for the others' safety, imdiately instructing everyone to don their armor.
"Not that many! They probably sent out a large one to shoot down our battleship!" Qiong Qi explained.
"What if we don't descend?" Ye Liuyun countered.
"Then we carry on ahead! Until they send one strong enough to take down the battleship!" Qiong Qi said nonchalantly.
"Well, never mind then! Let's land and engage them in close combat!"
Ye Liuyun was worried that if the battleship travelled too far, and they encountered a more formidable Fire Elf, it wouldn't be able to resist.
Right then, several streams of lava spouted from the ground, led by similar fish-headed human-bodied Fire Elfs, charging towards the battleship.
Ye Liuyun had the battleship defend in advance and took down all the Fire Elfs.
The battleship began to gradually descend.
Observing the battleship's descent, the Fire Elfs stopped their attacks and quietly lay in wait.
"Let's hold them off for a while and then release the disciples of the Devil Lord Sect."
Ye Liuyun notified those around him, and along with the others, disembarked the battleship.
As soon as the battleship and the puppets inside were packed away, the ground was seethed with lava. The Fire Elfs then seized the opportunity to attack Ye Liuyun and his team.
In no ti, Ye Liuyun and the rest saw various beasts transford by the Fire Elfs, so with one eye, so with quadruple arms, so with many-footed, and all were freakish humanoid.
These beasts erged from underneath everyone, continuously.
Fortunately, everyone was protected by armor crafted by Qiong Qi, so they were not hard for the ti being.
Qiong Qi, Ye Liuyun and other fire-attribute people and Demons then killed the elfs one by one and absorbed their fire source at the sa ti to strengthen themselves and replenish their genuine energy. Their energy wasn't really consud, so they could just consider it as practice.
However, Man Shu, Wu Qingcheng and others experienced trendous consumption. Not only did they have to use their genuine energy to resist the even higher temperature here, but they also had to freeze these beasts and the lava.
"You all should retreat to the Spatial World to rest first!" Ye Liuyun greeted them and then took them back into the Spatial World.
After that, he let out three hundred fire attribute devil cultivator disciples of the Devil Lord Sect, allowing them to fight while boosting their fla power.
They could only judge the strength of the beasts by their size, so those who were of higher level like Ye Liuyun, Qiong Qi, and Raging Fire Lion took on the larger beasts while those who were of lower level dealt with the smaller ones.
About an hour later, the erupting lava gradually receded and the beasts transford by the Fire Elf also stopped appearing.
"What's going on?" Ye Liuyun asked Qiong Qi in confusion.
"This is just a trial run by them. Next, cos the endless attacks! We can't just stay here, follow and keep fighting forward!" Qiong Qi reminded everyone.
So everyone followed Qiong Qi, accelerated and ran forward.
But not even fifteen minutes passed, the attack started again!
Ye Liuyun and the others then ford a Formation, mixed together according to their realms and looked after each other while they moved forward and fought.
"What's up with the yellow sand on the ground? It can't be burned by the lava?" Ye Liuyun was fighting when he noticed the anomaly.
The lava, like water, flowed over the yellow sand and receded, yet the yellow sand remained untouched.
