She sighed helplessly and threw down her phone as she walked toward the bathroom.

After showering, she ca out with a dry hair cap on her head, specially bought for her by Xiao Chen. It really worked well; her hair could dry in just ten minutes.

Dressed in an ice silk nightgown, her eyes lazily content, the computer suddenly emitted an alarm sound. Her eyebrows instantly turned cold as she pulled out a chair and sat down.

She logged into a system and stared at the flashing red dots.

At least a hundred red dots were encroaching upon Moon Island step by step.

Her phone rang, and without any hesitation, she answered.

anwhile, Moon Island was suffering a brutal siege. All the islanders stationed there hid in the shadows, clutching their guns and watching the people stealthily infiltrating the island.

One by one, they were heavily-equipped foreigners, and the only group capable of deploying so many people at once was the Underground Alliance.

She hadn’t expected them to send so many people; it seed they were determined to annihilate everyone on Moon Island in one fell swoop.

Fortunately, the boss had perfected Moon Island’s defense system. They were ready as soon as the invaders entered their monitoring range, otherwise, if they had reached Moon Island unnoticed, the entire island would have suffered heavy losses, or even fallen.

However, the attackers were cautious. After reaching the island, they didn’t rush into action but began their move only after scoping out the situation thoroughly.

There had been great confidence in this defense plan, but unexpectedly, they had managed to bypass the defense system.

Or it could be said that the defense system had been compromised, and their people were already pouring onto Moon Island, plunging it into chaos.

Most of the residents on Moon Island were people taken in by Yun Yue, mainly the elderly, won, and children with no fighting capability, save for a few mbers of Golden Net and those recruited by Yun Yue.

In total, there were less than a hundred who could fight, with only 20 mbers from Golden Net. The rest, although trained, couldn’t match the ferocity of the Underground Alliance mbers.

All the defense systems had undergone more than ten checks and were supposed to take down intruders as soon as they entered the range, but the system malfunctioned—pressing the button did nothing.

The gate to Moon Island had been opened, and they rushed in unobstructed.

In just ten minutes, more than half of them were dead or injured.

Fortunately, he had anticipated this and had already moved the residents to safety, evacuating them to the back hills.

If Moon Island fell, they would escape northward to Beihai by ferry.

But Xiao Bai did not evacuate and continued to fight alongside the remaining mbers of Golden Net against the invaders.

"There must be a traitor!" Xiao Bai sat in the command center, watching the island’s surveillance, with fires everywhere. The enemies were ruthless, and their own people suffered heavy casualties.

His delicate and usually pale face looked terrifyingly grim. Their system could only be unlocked by soone from the inside, and even the facial recognition at the gate could only be opened by an insider.

"Boss, what do we do? Our people are no match for them, and we can’t let Moon Island fall," Xiao Bai said with a stern expression, resolved to fight to the death if necessary. If they were overrun, the only choice would be mutual destruction.

All the weapons researched by Nan Jingchen were on the island, and the thought of them falling into the hands of the Underground Alliance was unimaginable. Better to destroy everything than leave anything for them.

Yun Yue’s usually casual brows were now stern, her voice hoarse, "Can you hold on for half an hour? I will send help your way."

"We can," Xiao Bai nodded, determined to hold out for half an hour no matter what.

She hung up the phone and called Wu Yi, her hands rapidly tapping on the keyboard.

Wu Yi seed busy and it was not until the end of a phone call that he picked up, still oblivious to the severity of the situation, his tone casual and languid, "What’s up, calling when you have free ti? Need money?"

Yun Yue’s brows and eyes were cold as ice, "Cut the crap. Get your people to support Moon Island imdiately. They need to get there within half an hour. If it falls..."

Hearing the possibility of a fall, Wu Yi beca more serious than ever, cutting in, "It won’t fall. I’ll arrange for support right away."

He hung up the phone and hastily arranged for people from Yu Island to provide support. Yu Island was the closest island to Moon Island.

However, there weren’t many people; they could only buy so ti. He had to send them first and then arrange for support from M country.

Xiao Bai imdiately launched a signal, instructing the islanders on the back mountain to evacuate.

The remaining people all started to pull back.

"Xiao Bai, what do we do? We’re no match for them." One by one, they had all sustained serious injuries. Apart from the people from Golden Net, everyone else’s faces showed fear.

"Hold on for half an hour. Other Shore Flower has been notified, and support will arrive soon." Xiao Bai controlled the system from the command center.

The island was outfitted with nurous systems, all installed by Nan Jingchen before he left. Now their hopes lay solely on this equipnt.

Soone hidden among the crowd stealthily sent out a ssage. Xiao Bai had been observing these people in secret. His gaze shifted suddenly, becoming fierce and chilling.

"Seize him!"

The people present were initially unaware of what had happened. However, the guilty party’s panic beca evident when he looked up and attempted to flee.

The trained mbers of Golden Net did not hesitate at his command. As soon as they saw the man trying to escape, they quickly kicked him down and pinned him to the ground.

"Lei ng! You... You’re the traitor?!" Lei Sa looked on in disbelief at his own brother, as if he had never really known him, and never imagined he would betray Moon Island.

The two brothers had been saved by the boss of Other Shore Flower. How could he be so ungrateful?

Lei ng was handcuffed, his gaze dull, head hung low, "I have let down Moon Island, let down the boss of Other Shore Flower."

"Tie him up for now." Xiao Bai swept a profound look over him, took his phone, and after reading the ssage, felt relieved that he hadn’t leaked all the information about the island.

Lei Sa looked at his brother in disappointnt, kneeling on one knee, his head bowed to obscure the subtle shift in his eyes, "It’s my brother who has wronged Moon Island and all the brothers. I apologize to you all. Don’t worry, even in death, I will fight to the end."

"Get up. We’ll have to ask the boss about how to deal with Lei ng. We still have half an hour before support arrives. Until then, we must hold our ground." Xiao Bai helped him up, and nobody around said anything.

Xiao Bai operated the system, and all the weapons buried underground were brought to bear.

He pressed the switch, and the sound of explosions erupted outside, followed by relentless gunfire intermingled with screams.

He watched the images on the surveillance screens, and everyone else seed to freeze in place.

They could only see the situation outside through the surveillance feeds. Each screen showed people being blown apart, flesh from bone, so shot to resemble sieves. The scenes were bloody and horrifying.

"This... this power is terrifying."

Had they known such lethal force was at their disposal, there was no need for such desperate fighting. Just withdrawing and letting the enemy inside to be ambushed would have been enough, sparing so many brothers from death and injury.

Xiao Bai was also startled, silently noting that Nan Jingchen lived up to his reputation. It’s no wonder so many wanted to take the Nan Family into their fold. This was also the reason behind the Nan Family’s annihilation.
