Jiang Qi was sowhat puzzled. Had he really seen it wrong?

The next day, Jiang Qi, with dark circles under his eyes, went to the hospital for a full-body checkup.

Jiang Qi, with a serious face, "Doctor, are you sure there’s nothing wrong with my brain and eyes?"

The doctor looked at the dical report, "..."

Suspected he was here to cause trouble.

"There’s no problem," the doctor replied helplessly.

"No, then how co I keep having hallucinations, please take a closer look." Jiang Qi was persistent. Once could be a mistake, but what about twice or three tis?

The doctor glanced over the report again perfunctorily, and said with a serious face, "Sir, you’re definitely fine, all your indicators are very normal."

Jiang Qi, "...couldn’t his perfunctory attitude be any more obvious to my not-so-blind eyes?"

"Sir, if you aren’t sick, please step aside; there’s a whole bunch of people waiting for their diagnosis," soone standing behind Jiang Qi said impatiently.

Jiang Qi stepped aside, reluctantly, and turned to leave.

"Nowadays, why are there people who seem to actually wish they were sick?"

"Yeah, really makes you suspect he’s the one with an illness."

The doctor let out a sigh after hearing their conversation, guessing that this young man was probably under too much pressure.

Jiang Qi was about to leave the hospital when he saw Fei Canqing around a corner. He walked up with a smile.

"Elder Fei, long ti no see, what have you been busy with lately?" Jiang Qi greeted cheerily, his gaze landing on the stack of reports in his hands, and his expression beca restrained.

Fei Canqing, seeing him, hugged the reports to his chest protectively, and looked at him warily, "What are you doing here, kid?"

The D laboratory and the dical Organization had been covertly competing. They hadn’t been too guarded against this youngster before, and he had stolen quite a bit of intelligence.

"Getting a health check." Jiang Qi said, assuming an appearance of modest gentlemanliness, "Shall I help you with those?"

Fei Canqing shifted slightly, "Wishful thinking!"

Those reports and docunts were treasures; if he lost them, what would he give to his master? He’d skin him alive.

Jiang Qi continued to smile warmly, "I heard you were working on so big project lately, care to share a bit? In dicine, there’s no ’you’ or ’I’, right?"

Fei Canqing chuckled, "No ’you’ or ’I’, but I’m still not going to share."

Jiang Qi, "..."

"Get lost, don’t follow , or I might kick you," Fei Canqing said without the least bit of rcy.

Jiang Qi, faced with a cold shoulder, touched his nose, about to turn and leave, when suddenly, in the ceaseless stream of people, he caught sight of a familiar figure.

Fei Canqing joined her, they seed quite familiar with each other as he handed her the precious undelivered reports and docunts, and together they walked straight into the elevator of the dical Organization’s base building.

Both of them quickly vanished from his sight.

"?!" Jiang Qi rubbed his eyes in disbelief.

The bustling crowd made his vision swim again, and once more, he felt like he was hallucinating, going back with the report in hand.

Inside the elevator.

Yun Yue flipped through the reports Fei Canqing had given her. After looking at a page cramd with text for over ten seconds, she turned it.

Fei Canqing didn’t know how much she had absorbed but started explaining, "The few dicinal ingredients you provided have been separated and processed. The analysis of their components and their effects and usage are all written there."

The elevator doors opened, and she stood at the entrance of the base, looking up at him, "How effective is it?"

"It has the effect of activating blood circulation to dissipate blood stasis, and clearing the ridians, suitable for patients with brain blood clots and those in a vegetative state."

The herbs were scarce, so he dared not use them carelessly; the formula and dosage were all according to the prescription she had given.

From what he could see, the effects were promising. After taking this dication, the patient’s brain blood clots had noticeably shrunk, and the circulation throughout the body had beco much smoother.

If combined with her acupuncture technique, there was a great chance of curing such patients without the need for surgery.

Yun Yue put on her white lab coat and mask, Fei Canqing scanned his face, and the two of them walked in. The researchers inside greeted them, their gazes unconsciously falling on Yun Yue.

Even with a mask on, it was clear she was not one of the base’s researchers, but since she was brought in by Fei Canqing, they glanced at her and then went back to their own work.

"This is the patient’s condition. Do you want to take a look?" Fei Canqing entered his office and pulled up the latest set of data from his computer.

Yun Yue looked over the information and nodded slightly, already having a sense of the situation.

Fei Canqing led her to the ward, where Xiao Yisha was recording the checkup for soone on the hospital bed. Seeing Fei Canqing co in, she approached him, "Master."

Her eyes t Yun Yue’s in the air, and she gripped her pen tightly, her eyes quickly flashing a chilly glint. Had her master actually brought her to the base?

This was the dical Organization’s research base; outsiders were not allowed in. Yun Yue wasn’t part of the dical Organization, so why was she allowed access?

If she stole and leaked information from the base, what would she do?

She took a deep breath, suppressing the anger in her heart, "Master, isn’t it a rule that people not from the dical Organization can’t enter the research base? Who is this person?"

Fei Canqing was checking the patient’s condition and replied without hesitation, "She is an exception."

Xiao Yisha clenched her teeth. Was it because she had made contributions during the epidemic?

"Master, I don’t understand. If the information from the base is leaked, whose responsibility will that be? Everyone will point their finger at her, the outsider."

From the mont she appeared in her sight, alarm bells rang in her heart; she always felt that Yun Yue would take sothing away from her.

"She won’t. If sothing happens, I will take full responsibility," Fei Canqing raised his eyes to look at her, his eyebrows knitting together.

Xiao Yisha took another deep breath, stifling her dissatisfaction and indignation as she walked out of the ward.

Yun Yue went over to check the patient’s condition.

"How is it?" Fei Canqing looked at her. Although there had been so improvent, if it were up to him to treat the patient, there wouldn’t even be a fifty percent chance of success.

The blood vessel was extrely fine, a slight tremble, and a vibrant life could be lost. But after taking the new dication, the probability of a successful surgery had increased from twenty percent to forty percent.

If it were her, the chances of success would be even higher.

After looking at the patient’s CT, she spoke softly, "Let’s try, with the silver needle."

Fei Canqing was startled, sowhat hesitant, "Are you sure?"

This situation was yet a dical precedent. If it failed... he couldn’t guarantee anything. However, if it succeeded, it would pioneer a new Chapter in dicine, and her na would go down in history.

Yun Yue furrowed her brow, her expressionless face just nodding as she rolled up her sleeves, washed her hands, took Fei Canqing’s pack of silver needles, and began sterilizing them.

She was focused, her eyes fixed on the patient’s brain as she slowly inserted the silver needle.

Fei Canqing watched closely by her side, his heart pounding wildly as he monitored the patient’s vital signs like a bomb was hanging over his heart.

After half an hour, she finished administering the needles, fine beads of sweat on her forehead; she rubbed her eyes tiredly.

"Is it done?" Fei Canqing asked nervously upon seeing her stop.

The patient’s vital signs remained normal; there shouldn’t be any problem.

She was silent for a mont, her voice a bit hoarse, "In half an hour, we’ll need to manipulate the needles again. Let’s observe for now."
