"Fine, I’ll go now." Xiao Ye didn’t believe Yun Yue was that kind of person either; confronting her face to face would be better to make things clear.

Two minutes later, with her eyes half-closed and head drooping, Yun Yue walked into the office and found a spot on the couch to sit down.

"..."

The entire office just watched her as she half-slept, half-awake, slumping lazily on the couch as if boneless.

What a lord she is!

Yun Yue’s long eyelashes trembled lightly before she finally opened her eyes, shooting a sharp gaze. A wicked smile curled on her lips as she rolled up her sleeves to her fair wrists and chuckled lightly, "You’d better have sothing important for , or you know what my temper is like."

"..."

They suddenly rembered when Li Hongsheng had woken her up to go to the office for what turned out to be a massive scolding over nothing, resulting in her kicking the door down as she left.

What presence!

What leg strength!

"Of course, we called you here for a reason. I advise you to not be so arrogant now. It’d be a sha if there’s no one to plead for you later," Zhao Min warned her with a dangerous glint in her eyes.

Was it only Liang Qian who found her annoying?

Of course not. She felt the sa way, especially despising the high and mighty act Yun Yue put on even though she had clearly done sothing wrong, which was maddening!

She wanted to rush up and slap her!

"I’m asking you, what were you doing in Class 1 this afternoon?" Liu Xiaoyan asked with her chin raised and an arrogant tone.

"Checking Lin Xuanze’s howork. Any problems with that?" Yun Yue squinted her eyes, observing the group of office people.

Yang Xing made a gesture at her, but she pretended not to notice.

Every trip to the office was not for a good reason, but every ti she ca out, she managed to leave the group speechless!

They weren’t ashad, but she was annoyed!

"Shen Xuan’s sheet music is missing. Did you steal it?!" Liu Xiaoyan stared at her intently, not missing any flicker in her eyes.

Her face was hidden behind a mask, so her expression was unclear, which left only her eyes to be scrutinized.

But facing Yun Yue’s gaze seed to pressure her.

She let her eyebrows rise, sweeping her teasing gaze over them, realizing that these people were all glaring at her as if they wanted to eat her—so they suspected her of theft.

Just a asly piece of sheet music—what was there to steal?

She had plenty of things she could want.

"Got any evidence?"

"Of course, there’s evidence. You were the only person who went in and out of Class 1 this afternoon on cara. If not you, then who?"

Liang Qian watched Zhao Min, who was full of righteous fury. Now cautious around Yun Yue, she decided she wouldn’t take the lead this ti, interjecting only when appropriate.

"People from Class 1 aren’t human? I might suspect you’re all in on it," she retorted calmly while fiddling with her phone, her chilly gaze resting on the three of them.

"Who’s looking for trouble? We from Class 1 are as clear as crystal! Not like you from Class 7!"

Her voice lazy, her wicked gaze on her, Yun Yue caused a chill to run down her spine, "Oh, so you’re saying you all from Class 1 are crystal clear, but and our Class 7 are not, is that it?"

"How can you talk like that? ’Class 1 is crystal clear’? You’re making laugh. What have we from Class 7 done to you, to slander us like this?!" Yang Xing was getting angry. They weren’t just pushovers in Class 7!

Zhao Min straightened up, "You know very well why your Class 7 has such high scores—no TV drama can compare to your antics."

"..."

"Hilarious. We beat your Class 1 in exams, and now you’re calling it cheating. Your horoom teacher and the school’s teachers haven’t said a word, and here you are running your mouth. My family has a team of lawyers; do you want to sue you for defamation?" Yang Xing’s forte might not be academics, but he loved to pull rank.

After all, he was the Demon Lord of Mayhem before Yun Yue showed up, but she had overshadowed him.

Gnashing her teeth, Zhao Min realized she had forgotten about Yang Xing’s status in the heat of the mont.

To think he’d bring in a team of lawyers for Class 7!

Her family couldn’t even compare to a corner of his, how could she possibly stand up against him!

And her family even had business cooperations with his company!

"Enough with the noise! Do you not see the teacher and , the director, here!"

Li Hongsheng’s voice bellowed, startling them into a tremble,

He looked at these reckless students, one with a more significant background than the next, giving him a real headache!

"You, be quiet," he said, glaring angrily at Zhao Min, for stirring trouble was her forte.

Liang Qian spoke up, "Director, if she’s the thief, we’ll know just by checking her desk."

"That makes sense," Li Hongsheng nodded in agreent and turned to Yun Yue, "Do you have any problem with that?"

"No problem, just rember to tidy up my desk after searching, and be careful with those thick books of mine; you can’t afford to pay for them if you damage them."

She reclined lazily on the couch, idly toying with her phone.

"Pssh, just a basic rotten book, what’s there to pay for?" Zhao Min scoffed with disdain.

What book isn’t available for sale nowadays?

Yun Yue gave her a glance and said nothing.

Everyone in Class 7 knew how much she treasured that book; she wouldn’t even let them touch it usually.

If they dared to damage the bigshot’s book, they truly believed that group would et a sorry fate.

Moreover, they had searched online and even scoured bookstores, to no avail!

It really was as she said, impossible to repay.

For the sake of fairness, Shen Xuan and Yun Yue, the parties concerned, remained in the office.

Liu Xiaoyan and Xiao Ye escorted both to Class 7.

Class 7 was self-studying, and upon seeing Liu Xiaoyan’s face at that mont, they all put on a face.

Liu Xiaoyan’s expression turned green with anger.

Xiao Ye then addressed them, "Everybody, please step outside for a mont."

It was better to be cautious in matters involving the students’ reputations.

Class 7 glanced at Liu Xiaoyan; it was bound to be nothing good. Curious as they were, they still had to leave, standing in the hallway, watching them search through Yun Yue’s desk.

"Why are they rummaging through Yun Yue’s desk?!" Zhang Ziyue frowned, first calling her to the office, and now they were going through her desk—it felt like trouble was brewing.

"Don’t know, let’s just watch for now," Rong Li said, equally curious.

Liu Xiaoyan was thorough in her search, sparing no book, and on seeing the English book scrawled with all sorts of "ghost talisman" drawings, her face soured; that book was exactly the one she had used to teach them.

The other textbooks were intact and clean, except for this English book, crumpled and full of various patterns.

It was hard to believe she wasn’t targeting Yun Yue personally.

She continued with a grim face, curiously flipping through those thick books, even the original English texts, where the characters within seed penned by a master calligrapher, strong and beautiful—every stroke was a sight to behold.

She couldn’t help but rember those past exam papers of hers, all scribbled as if by chicken claws, terribly ugly!

Compared to the writing here, it was a difference between heaven and earth, no comparison at all!

Could these be written by the sa person?

She doubted it; it might be soone else’s handwriting.

Those thick books covered physics, math, chemistry, biology—complicated and incomprehensible stuff that seed quite old; where she got them from was anyone’s guess.

Suddenly, a thought flashed through her mind regarding that set of review materials—perhaps it was worth searching!

If they got their hands on them, their class could pull off a coback, and they definitely wouldn’t be worse off than Class 7!
