"Do you wish to sit in front of ?" Theodore invited his wife
Lydia frowned "Over there? Across from you?" she asked pointing at the other end of the table that was six seats on each side away from her husband. Why does he want that?
"Blasphemy! Co let show you" He encouraged his grin predatory.
"Theo, we should be eating," she said suspiciously.
"And we shall eat" he promised.
Lydia with narrowed eyes remained seated the last ti she had left her seat he had turned her sh and red as tomatoes, today she’d be smarter.
The Lord chuckled darkly before leaving his seat "I will have to sit next to you then" he confessed, the maids then hurried to rearrange the setting of the table.
"As you wish, Husband" Lydia gasped with a giggle as he sat next to her with a pout.
Where did he learn to do that?
The easy silence that ensued didn’t take long. Theodore thought maybe he should tell her about the Emperor coming to Critic Arley, but he went against it because despite Statham being her forr ho they were not family to her and the Emperor going there shouldn’t be a thing id concern.
"You arranged flowers in the hallways" he pointed out his observation.
"Yes, you noticed"
Theodore smirked, he hadn’t rembered. Shade had told him. Whenever he cos back ho the only thing he sees or wishes to see is only his wife.
Lydia Gooseberry. He looked at her and she was stuffing a vegetable into her small mouth, he chuckled drawing her attention.
"Eat, Theodore the carpenter will be here soon" she reminded him as he spent most of his dining ti watching her.
He doesn’t blink as he states "I do not care about his presence"
"Well I do care" Lydia retorted imdiately.
Theodore’s spine straightened as he held her eyes. "You care about so other man?" he bellowed.
"It’s the Carpenter," she said without looking at him, the food suddenly looked so enticing.
"Lydia look at " he growled.
"You do not care about any other man" he declared, his eyes darkened.
"That is different" she confird with a small smile.
He sighed "I know, but you shouldn’t be moved by them" he advised, his voice firm.
"I’m moved by making the house better, do you wish to beco a carpenter?" she countered with a question.
"I desire to be whatever you may need" he growled.
"All I need is you, Theodore" he grins "Amongst other things" he glared at her making her break into a chuckle, Theodore is so easy to tease.
"Theodore, I need you and I hope you never beco a monster to because even then I will choose you" She vowed, her eyes decisive.
"I shall remain husband charming to you, even in heaven" he declared.
She raised a suspicious brow "You want to go to heaven?" she asked.
"I do not mind being in hell, but I yearn to be wherever you are" he professed "I love you" he added, smitten and his food abandoned.
"Your jealousy is making eat cold food" Lydia scolded with a feigned disappointnt on her face.
"The maid would make more if you so desire" he growled.
"I love you" she whispered and her husband could only smile. His heart was full.

"My lady there is a guest outside our gates" Mira’s eerily voice ets them.
They had gone back into their bedroom after breakfast earlier. Theodore had insisted Lydia help him out of his clothing that he wished to be in another but that had been a fib to get her to bed with him.
"Send them back" Theodore snarled.
Lydia giggled, gazing at her husband’s soft cold locks lovingly as she retold "She said Lady Theodore, not lord Theodore, and we need to see" her fingers playing with the hair.
"No we don’t, and please stop making raise my head to reply to you" he grumbled, returning his head to her chest.
Mmm, she giggled, the outside world temporarily forgotten.
"My Lady?" the voice called out again, this ti sounding like a scold, it was Joyce.
"I will send that girl back to where I brought her after this" Theodore grumbled.
"No you shall... mmmm" her defiance trailed off when he started to massage her left boobs with his right palm through her cloth.
"It is the baroness, Lady Theodore" another voice called in, this one ek and calm, Dorothy.
"Theodore" she warned with a sigh.
"Yes, my Lady" he grunted, placing another kiss on her lip before he pulled her out of bed with him, she felt thicker than she did before, he mused.
"Let her in, I shall et her in the guest parlour"
"Yes Lady Theodore"
Lydia rushed to brush her hair, add a hint of powder and she was ready to et the visitor.

"Welco Lady Vera, please" Dorothy bowed politely, guiding the baroness to where Lydia sat waiting, eager and a little apprehensive.
"I am Lady Vera Brighton, the baroness of Critic Arley" Lady Vera said haughtily the second she stepped inside the parlour.
"I know that Lady Vera" Lydia retorted with a frown "Welco, please sit" she invited, the woman took the dark cushion with a grimace.
"Your mansion is rather dark" she spouted.
Lydia smiled ignoring the comnt she said to the lady instead "Thank you for inviting to your tea party" A tea party where I was insulted and you stood saying nothing, a tea party where you didn’t even know and almost sent back, a tea party where despite being the lady with the highest title I wasn’t still a special guest. Yes thank you, she thought.
The baronesses grinned "That is exactly why I am here" her eyes looking around.
"Oh, Joyce" Lydia called the maid to have edibles offered to the guest.
Joyce moved forward with a bow. "Lady Vera, Would you like coffee or tea, we could give you fruit punch or milk punch"
"I want Absinthe, do you happen to have that?" the baroness asked her chin high.
Joyce resisted an eye roll before she retorted "No, Lady Vera but there is water".
Lady Vera’s eyes widened in stupefaction. She started to holler "How dare you I-"
Lydia cut her off with a question "Baroness, what had brought you here?"
She turned to glare at Lydia before looking around suspiciously she then gulped her lips thinned.
"Lydia I... Can I call you Lydia?" she asked.
With a practised smile "Why, yes Lady Vera"
"Good, let have the milk punch"
Lydia smiled, recognising the kind of woman Vera was. "Dorothy" she called.
"Yes Lady Theodore" the maid responded quickly as she veered around to get the baroness her milk punch.
"I have always organised a tea party once in a while and I always pride myself on only inviting the nobles of nobility" she spoke, her tone sohow condescending despite soft
"To be truthful, my husband had insisted I invite the supposed duchess of Critic Arley, You"
Lydia narrowed her eyes to a slit before resisting a scoff "That title is not active, I would advise you refrain from using it" she advised the baroness.
"I see, the Lady of the city should be present he had insisted and so I invited you"
"Stay on point, Baroness I have responsibilities"
Lydia remained silent prompting the lady to continue. "I implore you to reject or not attend my events the next ti I invite you," she said through a smile.
"The commotion you had started the last ti was embarrassing and it almost caused a stain on my reputation"
"You know how it is with us titled ladies, duties, and commitnts"
"Those are the sa things Lady Vera but I think I understand, Now I just desire to comprehend what gave you the audaciousness to assu that you can co to my mansion" She paused, the effect making the baroness cold. "To be in the monster’s lair and confidently spill such balderdash"
The baroness smile dropped.
"Vera Brighton if your invitation ever reaches again, crosses my mansions gate, your husband shall not only lose his title but his head too, Do you comprehend what I just emitted?" Lydia said tightly her gaze locked with the frozen baroness.
"Baroness?" Lydia called jolting the woman out of her head.
"Yes," the baroness said with a small fearful nod.
Lydia crossed her feet. "Good, now please leave my place, you were undeserving of the milk punch from the beginning, Leave it Dorothy the baroness is leaving now," she said to the maid who had fetched the edibles and drinks.
Lady Vera Brighton, the baroness felt drenched with fear, she shivered from tension,
"Also Baroness..." Lydia called the despicable woman, the baroness turned with a frown "It’s Lady Theodore for you" she pointed out, drawing a line between her and the stupid baroness.
The lady bowed unconsciously before her eyes widened in shock and she pranced out angrily.
Lydia sighed before turning to gaze at a spot on the dark mansion’s wall.
Whatever do you think?
