Seconoria.
***********
Before Freya could make her way towards her escape, she found herself surrounded by her father’s knights, their stern faces leaving no room for argunt.
Governess Luxia stood nearby, her disapproval evident in the tilt of her chin and the nose, like a main character on its own, stood at attention.
"Your highness," one of the knights began, his voice firm yet tinged with concern, "You cannot continue to disregard your responsibilities in such a reckless manner."
Freya t their stern gazes with an air of nonchalance, though a pang of guilt tugged at her conscience, she hadn’t ant to fail in her escapade. Perhaps she’d scread sowhere during the fall and now she wondered.
"I was rely... stretching my legs, so to speak," she offered, a mischievous twinkle in her eyes.
"Weren’t you supposed to be using the ladies’ room?" Freya bit her cheek at being caught in her inconsistency how had the governess decided she didn’t want a break but a raise? she felt betrayed.
"Oh, governess, how uncouth to say such about a noble lady, especially a princess in the company of n." She fanned herself dramatically, attempting to deflect the scrutiny.
She also very much enjoyed taking a jab at the woman by referencing their earlier conversation. Freya noticed her dramatics only sharpened the frown on Luxia’s face, but she continued nevertheless.
"And besides, I did both." Governess Luxia’s sharp gaze bore into Freya’s, her lips thinning with disapproval.
"Stretching your legs by leaping from your chamber window, I presu? I also heard you had hit your head from a fall was you maid seeing the sooner future?" she retorted, her tone dripping with disdain.
Sotis this woman toed the line of disciplinarian and tyrant and Freya hated it.
She bit back a retort, knowing full well the consequences of crossing the line with her governess.
Instead, she cast a quick glance at Hannah, her maid, who stood nearby with a sheepish expression. It was clear that Hannah had inadvertently let slip Freya’s latest escapade, though Freya couldn’t bring herself to harbor any ill will toward her faithful companion.
Even that nose was bound to intimidate the most brave. Turning her attention back to her father’s knights, she gave a sheepish smile as she was escorted to her father’s office. She stood and before she could curtesy he spoke.
"Freya, I see you have sohow managed to get yourself tangled with trouble again." The King, Alfred Raw, watched his daughter fidget in place with a look of disappointnt colouring his face.
"Have I?" Freya muttered under her breath.
While it was basically second nature to talk back to people her father was not soone she’d worked up the courage lay her sarcasm on.
"You have been granted too much leisure if you have so much ti to disgrace the family na." Freya could feel the room drop in temperature at her father’s words.
This wasn’t a jeer to her but her retainers as well. Her lips thinned, withholding the words she wished to lash out.
"You shall start with your training tomorrow, you shall no longer be readied to be a princess but to be a queen" he said suddenly shocking te whole room.
"A queen who would rule as a king" he continued, his voice sure.
"Father, what is that?" her question showed her confusion about the topic.
Alfred turned to a guard, "Show her to her room, you would train closely with the knights and when you can prove yourself you shall take my throne."
"But I love being a princess" she whined, her eyes wide in fear.
"Enough! I have no use for you if you remain feminine, so you shall be transford as much as possible"
"We should talk to mother," she argued.
"My decision is final, I would not have you telling your mother what she does not have to concern herself with"
"Father plea-" he cut her off with a soft bark. "To your chambers, princess Freya"
She blinked, her jaw hardening, "Yes, your majesty"
She left for her room with a scared heart. How was she to be a queen who is a king?

anwhile,
In a small village close to the castle of princess Freya, the baron family lived, a small family of four, two sons and both parent. They’re nobles but they weren’t rich.
"You were there again, were you not?" The baron, John accused pointedly at his son.
From inside the tea room the baroness asked, "Who is it? Samuel?"
"No, Theodore was over at the castle again" John complained, the mother had thought it was the second son, who’s mischevious but no, it was the reasonable son who had one weakness, trying to go to into the castle without an invitation.
"Son, I do not know why you assu the princess would want to see you, but if the guards were to ever catch you, you shall be in serious trouble" John warned for the upteenth ti, as his son had tried to go over the wall to find a princess he claims would want to speak to him.
"And the family wants no trouble right now" his mother, Lana added pointedly as the maids set the table for dinner.
"Father, I need to et her, I am going to apply for a job there" he declared, his mind made up.
Lana frowned as she asked, "Where?" thesa ti the baron wailed, "The castle?!"
"Yes Father the castle, I wish to beco a knight" he declared.
John nodded, "I am proud of you, do whatever your heart hungers for"
"Theodore is only going there because he wants the princess" Samuel yelled as he grabbed his brothers collar.
"Shut up, Samuel," Theodore wondered why he was given a brther in this lifeti because he doesn’t rember wishing for one in the last, perhaps its a punishnt for him taking his life, while rembering Alice is his reward.
Theodore had woken up on his fourteenth birthday in tears and sweat as he saw all of his orevious life flash in a span of the night.
He felt like he grew ten years older and developed a sense of responsibility and a drive that older n didn’t have in him.
He had been grateful to be given a second chance and that morning had been the first day he climbed over the castle walls to get a glimpse of his love.
She had fallen straight into his arms proving just how much he needed to beco a boulder for her and that he did, but it appears having a brother wasn’t the punishnt, her not rembering him was the punishnt for his sin. He has to love and protect Freya from her father all by himself.
So when it was ti for registering, he went over to start their story.
