Duke Aldric, Organizer of the Grand Martial Tournant]
As Lyan absorbed the contents of the notice, excitent bubbled within him like a cauldron on the brink of boiling over. The prospect of testing his skills against formidable opponents in the esteed Arena of Champions filled him with anticipation.
But at the sa ti, Lyan rembered about the World of mories of Lilith that he hadn’t cleared yet.
(Now that I rember it, I’m supposed to be at so kind of martial tournant there as well, aren’t I?) (Lyan)
Putting a ntal note of the unexplored world and potential of the World of mories, Lyan shifted his mind to what lay before him.
(The martial tournant—this is a great opportunity.) (Lyan)
Wilhelmina and the girls are looking for a place to settle, to eat, and to survive. Of course, they would need a source of inco and a job to sustain themselves. Not only that, they would need connections and, of course, a place to start.
The martial tournant is a perfect place for them to begin. But of course, Lyan is not such a saint that he would only think about Wilhelmina and the girls.
(It would be the perfect opportunity for to establish valuable connections. Whether I actually settle here or not doesn’t matter that much. It would also be a perfect opportunity for to hone my skills a little.) (Lyan)
Lyan’s thoughts turned towards the future, envisioning the possibilities and benefits of the martial tournant. A satisfied smile spread across his face.
(Look at this guy, he’s triggered. His face looks like a criminal aiming for a child.) (Griselda)
Griselda’s snide remark echoed in his mind, but it was quickly countered by Arturia’s scolding.
(Watch your mouth, Griselda. That’s not a nice thing to say.) (Arturia)
With a determined gleam in his eye, Lyan made a ntal note of the registration details and the tournant location. He knew that preparing for such a prestigious event would require careful planning and training.
As he turned to leave, a thought crossed his mind. With the requirents and location now clear, it was ti to begin his preparations in earnest.
Returning to the inn where his companions awaited, Lyan gathered them together to discuss their next steps. As they convened in a private corner of the common room, he laid out his plans with precision and clarity.
"As expected, you’re considering joining the martial tournant of the empire," Wilhelmina chid in.
"Right on point, Wilhelmina. The thing is..." Lyan replied calmly but with a resolute look as he took a seat.
"The original reason you guys followed was to find a place where you could start anew, correct? This is the perfect opportunity."
Lyan’s words drew the attention of Wilhelmina, Solia, and their group. He was telling them that this was the right mont to showcase their abilities and assess whether this was the place they wanted to start anew, as they had previously discussed.
His companions listened intently, their expressions reflecting a mixture of curiosity and determination.
"According to my observations and the information I’ve gathered, this martial tournant is not just a simple brawl for show. Knights, adventurers, rcenaries, and even nobles seem to be greatly interested in this tournant. It ans that all kinds of benefits—including gold, connections, and prestige—are easily attainable here. I’ve heard that just by displaying strength equivalent to the empire’s knights, one could receive enough benefits to live here comfortably. Not to ntion, jobs will also be easily obtained," Lyan explained, noting the focused and interested looks of the girls before him with satisfaction.
"If you guys are interested, first and foremost," Lyan continued, "we must ensure that each of us is in peak condition for the tournant. Physical training, honing our combat skills, and familiarizing ourselves with the rules and regulations will be paramount."
He turned to Wilhelmina and Solia, knowing that their intellect and resourcefulness would be invaluable in gathering information and devising tactics.
"Wilhelmina, Solia," he addressed them directly, "I need you to delve deeper into the intricacies of the tournant. Gather intelligence on our potential competitors, study their fighting styles, and identify any weaknesses we can exploit."
The two won nodded in agreent, already ntally cataloging the tasks ahead.
Turning to the rest of his companions, Lyan’s gaze softened with appreciation for their unwavering loyalty and strength.
"To the rest of you," he said, "I need your commitnt and dedication. Train rigorously, support one another, and trust in our collective abilities. Together, we will face whatever challenges the tournant may bring."
With Lyan’s plan laid out, his companions nodded in agreent, their determination matching his own.
"We’re with you, Lyan," Wilhelmina said, her voice steady and resolute. "We’ll gather all the information we can and ensure that we’re fully prepared for the tournant."
Solia echoed her sentint, her eyes alight with excitent. "Consider it done. We’ll leave no stone unturned in our preparations."
The rest of the group voiced their assent, their expressions a mixture of anticipation and resolve. They understood the significance of the opportunity before them and were eager to rise to the challenge.
As they dispersed to begin their respective tasks, Lyan felt a surge of pride in his companions. Their unity and determination were a testant to their strength as a team.
(Well, well, look at you, Master Strategist. Leading your rry band of misfits into battle, are you?) (Hestia)
Hestia’s playful tone rang in Lyan’s mind, her words carrying a hint of admiration.
Lyan chuckled inwardly, acknowledging the truth in her jest. "It seems I’ve beco quite the leader, haven’t I? Not that I wanted it, though,"
(True, but don’t let it go to your head. Rember, leadership is about more than just giving orders. It’s about guiding your comrades with wisdom and compassion.) (Arturia)
Even though it’s kind of funny, Arturia’s friendly sage advice tempered Lyan’s pride, reminding him of the responsibility that ca with leadership.
(And don’t forget to keep an eye out for any unexpected twists and turns. The road ahead may be fraught with challenges, but with your wits and our support, I’m sure you’ll prevail.) (Griselda)
It’s rare. Griselda’s words, though gruff, carried a note of encouragent. Her faith in Lyan’s abilities was unwavering, a reassuring presence in the face of uncertainty.
(As expected, it’s lingering inside her head. Seems like I’m not the only one having a strange feeling of danger here, huh?) (Lyan)
The duke’s matter, the Crows, and the rising turmoil in the Astellia kingdom. It’s an event where it won’t be surprising for Griselda’s killer who killed Griselda who was a part of the Astellia Kingdom’s force to appear there as well. And knowing that the Duke’s n are also here inside the empire, it’s not surprising for Griselda to feel kind of uneasy.
Lyan nodded, grateful for the wisdom of his companions. With their support and guidance, he felt confident that they would overco whatever obstacles lay ahead.
As he set about his own preparations for the tournant, Lyan couldn’t help but feel a sense of excitent building within him. The grand martial tournant of the Redania Empire was more than just a chance for glory—it was an opportunity to forge bonds, test his skills, and perhaps uncover secrets hidden within the heart of the empire.
With his companions by his side, Lyan was ready to face whatever challenges awaited them in the arena. And together, they would write their own Chapter in the annals of history.
