"Many schools of thought believe that the Crimson River, as the third Dao Mark, is also the divide of the Spirit Realm..."

On that one end, though ti and space were chaotic, there was still so order.

But on this side, order had completely disappeared, and chaos was the mainstream.

Zhong Shenxiu raised his eyes to look, and not far away, there seed to be a piece of shattered cosmos, where one could see a massive star and the rings on its surface.

However, the star that seed close enough to touch was, in fact, an unknown distance away.

At the edge of the shattered star, there appeared to be a mottled ancient building.

It had sharp roofs and a bell tower, standing at the end of a wilderness, with a huge waterfall rising from below at the junction with the star.

"Exploration beyond the Crimson River is very difficult. Perhaps one step will take to the Golden Sky Tower, or the next might transport to so unknown territory, completely lost..."

Zhong Shenxiu dared not wander aimlessly. He could only linger at the edge of the Crimson River, relying on the power of this eternal third Dao Mark to avoid getting lost.

He walked along the white shore and suddenly saw a familiar person.

It was Gross!

The fellow was awkwardly clinging to the shore, one hand gripping the white rocks tightly, while the other half of his body was still being washed by the Crimson River, looking like an exhausted person drowning, about to be swept away the next mont.

Gross also saw Zhong Shenxiu, calling out weakly, "Brother... for the sake of Suisui, give a hand!"

"That’s really unlucky."

Zhong Shenxiu ca to Gross’s side, revealing a set of pearly white teeth, "I am a servant of the Master of Black Blood, and these two beings seem to be hostile, right?"

Gross felt his heart sink instantly.

The next mont, however, he felt a force surge over and pull him ashore.

Gross, completely drained, could only lie on the shore, gasping for air, "That was close... I almost died just now..."

He didn’t dare to complain about Zhong Shenxiu almost getting him killed; after all, it was fundantally because of his own recklessness.

"Why... did you save ?"

Gross looked at Zhong Shenxiu, very puzzled.

"Although I am a servant of the Master of Black Blood, I have my own will," Zhong Shenxiu casually explained. He couldn’t very well say that he didn’t trust that guy at all, right?

"Then you are really... quite unusual!" Gross’s face twitched, "But luckily, that’s the case, or I would have lost my life. Thank you!"

"Don’t ntion it, it was just a convenient action."

Zhong Shenxiu answered nonchalantly, gazing at the distant scenery of the Spirit Realm.

"I’d like... for you to accept this."

Gross took out a badge shaped like a flower from his chest, "This is the emblem of the Nightingale Family; it has so use in the mystical world..."

"Hehe..."

Zhong Shenxiu shook his head and did not accept the gift.

The other party obviously ca from a large family. The magical item offered might have so hidden trap, and if he couldn’t detect it, it would be easy to fall into it.

"Hey, hey... I’m sincere, you know? Do you have any idea what the Nightingale Family’s emblem represents out there?"

Gross, looking at Zhong Shenxiu’s figure fading away, was left speechless.

"Forget it, it’s clear he doesn’t trust . I’ll just have to find a way to repay him the next ti we et... Sigh... I didn’t expect the Crimson River to be so dangerous, that it almost took down a genius like ..."

Muttering to himself, he prepared to choose ’log off’.

...

In the real world, Zhong Shenxiu glanced at his attribute bar.

[Bloodline: Three-eyed Feathered Serpent (Growth Type)]

[Derived Abilities: Scales of Illusion, Illusion Eyes]

"Oh, the bloodline evolution this ti brought abilities related to illusion techniques?"

He picked up a mirror and gazed at his own face, finding his pupils had astonishingly turned pure black.

Even more, with a single thought, a pair of vertical pupils appeared, like those of a serpent, exuding indifference and ruthlessness.

"The ’Ascender’ originally signifies a transformation of the soul’s essence, so its rger with the bloodline to create pupils capable of crafting illusions seems completely rational, just not sure about their power..."

Zhong Shenxiu continued to explore with his thoughts:

[Would you like to consu 50 Heavenly Show Points to upgrade your Three-eyed Feathered Serpent bloodline?]

"As expected, a ’complete form’ Three-eyed Feathered Serpent is of the ’Perfected’ tier; even the Heavenly Show Points it consus are at the Divine Skill level," he mused.

"Common sense suggests that this would be the limit for a Three-eyed Feathered Serpent bloodline, since any bloodline, no matter how nurtured, in theory shouldn’t surpass its origin... But I’m different, with Heavenly Show Points at my disposal. I wonder if it’s possible to deduce an ’ultimate form’ equal to a Primordial Pill creature? But of course... since there’s no reference material, no other theoretical foundation, it might cost more than ten tis the usual amount, definitely a colossal number... If a normal advancent is a thousand points, would this kind of breakthrough hypothesis require ten thousand?"

He pondered for a mont, "Forget it, let’s ascend to the ’complete form’ first."

With a single thought, fifty Heavenly Show Points instantly vanished.

Zhong Shenxiu grunted, bending his torso forward.

On the surface of his skin, dense, pupil-like scales erged, and his eyes also shifted into vertical slits.

In the throes of excruciating pain, his intuition dispersed and rose... entering the Spirit Realm.

Gross, who was just about to ’log out,’ was startled, "You... how did you appear again?"

Zhong Shenxiu ignored him and instead looked at his own arm.

The black serpent, which had beco a bracelet, suddenly fell to the ground, began to swell violently, and turned into a giant python as thick as a water tank!

Hiss hiss!

It beat its tail against the ground, causing the whole area to tremble continuously, emanating a savage and ferocious aura.

Suddenly, on the back of the black serpent, two lumps swelled rapidly.

Rip!

The lumps burst open, revealing two enormous wings as majestic as those of a dragon.

Atop the wings were rows of pristine white feathers.

Whoosh whoosh!

In the surging winds, the black serpent abruptly soared into the air, its brow split open, revealing a third vertical serpent eye.

It fixed its gaze on Zhong Shenxiu, then suddenly lowered its head.

Zhong Shenxiu stepped forward and stood atop it.

As the winds howled, the Three-eyed Feathered Serpent flapped its wings, lifted into the sky, and comnced its flight.

It seed as if it was born for this very place; the fragnted concepts of space and ti were being redefined beneath its feathered wings.

"The third evolution, the complete form of the Three-eyed Feathered Serpent bloodline, is virtually as powerful as the original source!"

"And its bloodline is the perfect key to finding the Golden Sky Tower!"

Zhong Shenxiu stood on the head of the Three-eyed Feathered Serpent, watching mysterious realms fly by beneath him, his expression profound.

He had been bearing the corruption of the Three-eyed Feathered Serpent, but among those intense illusions and Spirit Communication visions, a certain piece of information could be sorted and analyzed.

It bore a na akin to a title—’Feathered Serpent Nobles’!

"Born noble? Could it be the Three-eyed Feathered Serpent bloodline has a higher origin? Has it even ford a clan?"

Zhong Shenxiu pondered. But soon, his attention was captured by a scene before him.

There stood a tower... wrapped in golden light, a Sky-reaching Tower!

Gross stood dumbfounded in place, watching the retreating figure of Zhong Shenxiu, muttering to himself only after a long while, "A ’Perfector’! That Spirit Realm Creature is definitely of the ’Perfector’ level. Turns out the bartender is not so novice ’Ascender’ but a real powerhouse!"

"The Feathered Serpent... I seem to have heard of this Spirit Realm creature before, I’ll have to delve into the family secrets when I get back..."
