Whisperer Bar.
The clinking of ice in the cocktail shaker produced a crisp, delightful sound.
Zhong Shenxiu’s palms appeared to blur into afterimages, and suddenly, he opened the shaker, causing the ice-wrapped liquor to burst out and form a crimson sun midair.
Then, the orb split into two, perfectly falling into two cocktail glasses without spilling a drop.
"Enjoy!"
Zhong Shenxiu finally placed two slices of lemon on the rims of the glasses and spread his hands with a smile.
"No matter how many tis I see it, it’s always a pleasure."
Alice exclaid, with Angel nodding repeatedly beside her.
Suddenly, her gaze narrowed, and she murmured in a low voice, "The annoying person is here again."
Alice was startled, then imdiately saw Julie walking with Li Wei, both entering the second floor of the bar very naturally.
Almost everyone thought the two were hooked up, at most whistling a few tis in regret.
...
"Hehe, these fools with nothing but alcohol and desire in their brains."
In the office, Julie gave Zhong Shenxiu a seductive look, "I have to thank you, the Bloody Mary last ti was very effective. I need three, no, five of them!"
"If the spiritual ingredients are provided by you, I can charge only 50 US Dollars per creation."
Zhong Shenxiu replied with a smile.
"I sacrificed so much for you before..." Julie’s expression suddenly beca imnsely grievous.
"Cough cough, but... business is business!"
Zhong Shenxiu coughed, asking, "Did you bring what I asked for?"
"Yes, but I must remind you that ’Extraordinaries’ cannot perform the naless arts, it’s only possible through the Pure White Wilderness, and it’s very dangerous!"
Julie then passed a stack of manuscripts, "Here is a part of the ’Sleepwalking moir’ manuscript, it’s not the common knowledge from before, it even depicts so aspects of the Crimson River; thus, I think it offsets the previous cost by a good margin."
"Alright..."
Zhong Shenxiu was actually just teasing the woman, but upon hearing this, he took the manuscript and quickly scanned it.
"I see the shedding of pure white limbs, under their pale skin, you will witness unparalleled horror and pain writhing... that is the sign of nearing the Pure White Wilderness..."
"Very good."
Zhong Shenxiu was very satisfied with this; what he lacked was the content for locating in the Spirit Realm.
With these, he could quickly reach the Pure White Wilderness, and attempt to cross it, ascending to beco an "Exemplar"!
"The Red River is a boundary that divides the Spirit Realm..... On our end, the disarray of directions and ti is not severe, making many texts describable.... But once you cross the Red River, things within the Spirit Realm beco chaotic, abstract thoroughly overwhelms the concrete, and by then, ordinary mystical texts can no longer describe the actual paths, unless aided by so special ’keys’ left behind by the predecessors..."
Julie sighed.
"But I don’t think discussing the Red River now is useful, let’s talk about the Naless Art first."
Zhong Shenxiu, leaning back in his chair, said leisurely.
"The Naless Art... I am also a cultivator of the Naless Art, so I have much to say on this matter."
Julie said, "The Naless Art originates from so Ancient Surian spells..... Many scholars believe that this typeface carries power, but in fact, what truly contains power is our spirituality!"
"As long as our spirituality is strong enough, capable of eliciting resonance in the Spirit Realm, an ’Exemplar’ rely intoning a few notes may form a Naless Art.... However, spiritual power is chaotic and unorganized, and thus extrely dangerous.... The spells left by the ancient Surians are ans of assistance and regulation, helping us define chaotic spirituality."
"So... how effective is it?" Zhong Shenxiu asked curiously.
"The effect? Even the most ordinary spell, the first ti I recite it may release a fla, the second recitation could turn into a healing spell, and if you recite it, it could beco summoning a gale..." Julie chuckled bitterly.
"Is that still considered helpful for stabilizing chaotic spiritual power?"
Zhong Shenxiu widened his eyes.
This feeling, how is it sowhat similar to Chaos Magic?
"That’s still quite good, at least it produces effects. If without the spell’s aid, perhaps an ’Exemplar’ trying to release a Naless Art for the first ti might summon Hellfire that burns themselves to ashes, or maliciously transform themselves into a rabbit or frog... Hmm, the second scenario, even using a spell, can’t be completely avoided, but with the ancient Magic Spells at least we are not easily killing ourselves..."
Julie said.
"Very good, very powerful!"
Zhong Shenxiu wiped the nonexistent cold sweat from his forehead: "It seems trying to explore the Naless Art on my own is indeed very dangerous. However... mysticism has developed to this point today, clearly you have found the right ans to practice the Naless Art."
"Yes, after many painful validations by predecessors, and a large amount of bloody exploration and trials... We barely figured out so of the attributions of Ancient Surian spells, soon after finding the first principle of practicing the Naless Art, every spell has its domain, influenced by different great beings!"
"Choosing Naless Art spells from the sa domain is the safest way to practice! Like , I believe in the tail-eating snake, It is seen as the embodint of fate, representing infinite possibilities."
Julie said, "So I only choose spells belonging to It for practice, before reciting the spell for the first ti, I use a ritual to pray to it, seeking blessings, then after casting the spell, if it produces a result that satisfies , I use the power of the ritual to ’define’ it! Thereafter, whenever I recite the sa spell, it will produce the sa effect as the first ti."
"Like the ’Moduo Spell’, extracted from ’The Whispers of the Worms’, so have used it to fly, summon blades, conjure food, turn into spirits... but after various research, we finally determined that it belongs to the Master of Black Blood, hmm, Master of Black Blood controls the power of creation, so it actually is a healing spell!"
"If a follower of the Master of Black Blood wants to practice it, then choosing the right ti is necessary, the 1st and 15th of each month are good opportunities, but do not choose the 7th or 13th, then set up a ritual involving the Master of Black Blood, using an antelope skull, pure maiden’s hair, silver as the main offerings, with His power practice Moduo Spell, so the first casting might have a 50% chance of producing a healing spell, 30% chance of no effect, 20% unknown!"
"If the first spell’s effect is not as you wished, you can conduct a backward ritual, not going to ’define’ the power of Moduo Spell, then repeat the aforentioned steps to attempt a second ti, but we do not recomnd trying a third ti, which can bring undesirable consequences."
"Moreover, because the Master of Black Blood detests the Ti-Keeper, you cannot easily change the subject of the ritual... If you replace it with another great entity, perhaps just making the spell effect more unstable, but if you invite the Ti-Keeper, there’s a 99% chance of producing harmful curse effects on yourself!"
"In conclusion, practicing the sa attributed spells as carefully as possible, can reduce the dangers of Naless Art to the minimum, but risks still exist!" Julie finally summarized.
Zhong Shenxiu then complained, "Is this practicing Naless Art? This is simply gambling with life!"
