Gojin inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly. Instantly, the boulder vanished, only to reappear on another cliff, now shattered into tiny pieces.

Kenji stared at him, struggling to maintain his stance as the water current gradually diminished, only to surge again monts later.

Did he just do that!? He tore the boulder apart...using..Ki tapping? Wait...two techniques! At the sa ti!?

Kenji thought, bewildered, quickly piecing together what had happened.

Gojin had utilized his Ki tapping to make the boulder vanish without needing to touch it. His enhanced Ki tapping during the transportation allowed him to manipulate the boulder from a distance, causing it to disintegrate into fragnts as it disappeared. With such mastery, anything within his reach could be torn to pieces.

[Rewards for minor damages will no longer be granted.]

DMs: (100,000/10,000,000)

Ki: InfiniteEnergies: 46% of each.

"I honestly thought I would receive a reward for that," Gojin mused, feeling a twinge of disappointnt.

He didn’t need to train to master or fully understand his techniques; he could effortlessly use four techniques simultaneously without any restrictions.

So, it had been 14 hours. Sakura, pulled by the wind, felt her muscles straining, her legs growing weak, and her stomach grumbling loudly.

Kenji, on the other hand, was in a similar plight.

Gojin, however, was grappling with a more serious issue to him—his hunger. He felt like he could eat Kenji, but even that wouldn’t satisfy him. Spotting fresh at beneath him, he shook his head to dispel the imagination, but his hunger only intensified.

"I should just eat him... No, that would be cannibalism. I need to concentrate... Oh no, the hunger...!!"

With the veil of night arriving, everything beca quiet. There was no rush or pressure in the atmosphere, as it was only the cool wind and the non intrusive earthy slls mixed with so fragrances from the flowers that blossod at night. A full and round moon is looking down on the western horizon as if ready to sail off into the landscape dressed up in a bright silver color as if the hues were blankets spread on the ground easily.

Large dark clouds were hovering below the moon and seed to be twisting around one another in an almost choreographed manner with their edges highlighted in the moon light creating brief shadows in the midst of the dark blue heavens. The clouds that ford a dark and a very threatening mass often rolled in and out, revealing the moon which lighted the earth in an eerie light that glittered on the crystalline surface of a lake nearby and rendered it a pond of quicksilver.

Tall and twisted trees, their naked like arms swaying slightly in the cool of the night air were ard with blown wild olive branches. Occasionally, the leaves would stir in a gentle gust of wind and lend their molasses tone, complinting the quite sound of an owl sowhere extraterrestrial. Anyone looking closely at that particular juncture, or anyone scanning around the surrounding in any direction with the moon in a flicker mode, would imdiately see how the impossible ink black shadows under trees were ripe with cunning.

Further away, low and wide as an escalated road stood a solitary hill in the infinity, gently obscured by the haze that reigned over its base. A night vigil was also accompanied by chattering of crickets, rustling of bushes, springs in order and every daredevil sound of the night. The clouds began to dense again as a result of which, the moon beca skip-covering and ribs of ray burst out.

This full moon would potentially increase the water’s current severalfold. Full moons occur approximately every 29.5 days, as the moon completes its orbit around the Earth, causing tides and currents to fluctuate dramatically.

Suki was sprinting through the woods with her katana unsheathed and a determined look on her face. She was chasing a short Akuma, having tried to slice it multiple tis, but it kept weaving through her attacks and darting deeper into the forest. The Akuma was a grade 2 Exile soul, resembling a goblin, and it was surprisingly fast on its short legs.

Suki propelled herself higher into the air to get a better view of its path. In an instant, she weaved toward a large tree, her robe flowing behind her, caught by the wind.

Determined to close the distance between herself and the Akuma, Suki leaped from tree to tree with precision, her eyes sharp and focused. As she burst through the branches, the Akuma emitted a screechy laughter and ran even faster.

"These little ones are always trouble," she muttered in her high-pitched voice, frustrated by the Akuma’s escape. It kept running, seemingly without a destination.

"This is the end for you, you freakshow!"

She yelled, raising her sword and positioning it in a slashing stance.

"Ice, Ninth Star, Frostbite Slash."

She whispered, a cold breath escaping her lips. A white line, as bright as ice and as thin as the katana’s edge, materialized two inches away from the blade.

This was one of the nine forms techniques that Sensei had told Gojin, Kenji and Sakura about.

Fixing her gaze on the distant Akuma, she was relieved to still see its movents. Instantly, she swung her sword, and the white line flew toward it, unseen.

Upon hitting the Akuma, its movents slowed dramatically. She dashed out of the tree and leaped toward it, using a branch for support. Landing a cut to its head, then skidding across the ground in front of it as its body began to dissipate into ashes.

"Bastard."

Suki swore, gravely annoyed.

Suki took off back to the hidden village. She had only co out for a short night patrol and had encountered this "annoying brat" running through the woods. Her patrol was now over, as the night watchn—those useless walking bags—would soon begin their rounds. It was best to return quickly to avoid being seen.

Though the night watchn and citizens of this era were aware of Akuma and other malevolent entities, including Exorcists and Soul Reapers, it was wise to steer clear of them. They often launched into their pointless questions, even when they knew everything.

Sakura was struggling under the weight of her suffering. Pain radiated through her limbs and joints, each movent sending sharp jolts of discomfort that made her feel as if her body were made of lead.

Her muscles ached, heavy and fatigued, while her joints throbbed with every gust of wind. She wore a weary expression, her eyes dulled and lifeless, as if the very essence of vitality had been drained from her.

It was becoming increasingly difficult to maintain her current stance as the wind howled and tugged at her, pulling her deeper into its grasp.

She began to wonder about the source of this unsettling wind pull, this force—what could be pulling the strings behind this mysterious phenonon?
