Rowan’s eyes fluttered open inside a familiar, exquisite bedroom.
His gaze t the familiar ceiling—white, spotless, and perfectly crafted. The smooth surface glead under the soft glow of the chandelier, its delicate patterns etched with subtle elegance.
It was the kind of ceiling that spoke of wealth and refinent, a finishing touch befitting the bedroom of soone who had everything.
Rowan’s eyes furrowed. ’I did not die? What is happening to ?’
He slowly lifted himself from the bed.
The exquisite and spacious structure of the bedroom lay bare before his eyes. Polished walls, fine furniture, and golden trims whispered of wealth.
In the far corner, an expensive gaming setup stood proudly—massive screens, sleek consoles, and a glowing chair fit for a king.
’My room before I was transmigrated into Emperor’s Domain,’ he recognized it easily.
The room held so many mories: his gaming achievents, the beautiful won he had invited over, including celebrities and popular gar girls.
It was in this sa room that he received the notification that changed his life, the one that initiated his transmigration to the gaming world.
But why was he here?
Of course he got no response. No panel shooting up to sooth his worries or voice to explain his situation.
His mind began to beat fast.
’All those adventures? Were they all a dream? Riela? Winterseed? His first war? The cult? The monster horde—all of them were unreal?’
With his heart beating fast, he stood up from the bed and approached the mirror.
The face being reflected was his face on Earth, handso and healthy.
Rowan did not waste ti observing his face and strolled to the door.
Once he opened it, he was greeted with a beautiful hallway, white and sleek.
Two beautiful young maids could be seen. One cleaned the floor while another could be seen holding a tray of food, walking toward him with a smile.
Even though he had been away from this place for a long ti, he could still rember their faces very well.
As the lazy owner of a very big mansion, he naturally had to employ extra hands to maintain it and prepare his als.
He even had guards and drivers stationed outside.
"Master Rowan," the maid bowed her head and greeted with a smile.
Rowan nodded but did not smile back. He told her to drop the food inside his room and co et him.
Once she returned, he opened a short question-and-answer session.
He asked a lot of questions about himself, the current date and ti, and events happening across the world.
The maid although surprised by the influx of unnecessary questions did not dare complain. She answered all his questions patiently.
Rowan listened attentively.
All her answers were just as he recalled. Nothing changed.
"By the way, a friend called today, he said his na was D’andre."
"Okay, I’ll check the call out later..." Rowan replied, half-mindedly, before his mind picked up the strangeness. He looked at the maid with widened eyes and asked in a loud and troubled tone, "Did you just say D’andre?"
The maid was startled by his sudden change in deanor. All the ti she had worked for him, he had never been so stressed about anything, especially not sothing as simple as a phone call.
"Yes... he said the two of you need to hang out. He ntioned sothing about a ’demon lair event,’ I think it has to do with Emperor’s Domain, the video ga that’s trending right now. Oh, and he ntioned a na, I think it was Ella... no Riela... yes, Riela was the na he called."
As she spoke, Rowan’s eyes widened even more.
His heart beat even faster.
D’andre?
He had no friend called D’andre on Earth before he was sent into the ga world.
Even in his list of in-ga friends, none of them had that na.
And Riela. That na should only exist inside Emperor’s Domain.
The demon lair aspect made everything more confusing.
The three were connected. Not in this world. Not in-ga. But in the actual world of Emperor’s Domain.
Rowan heaved a long sigh. He turned to the maid and flashed her a calm and gentle smile. "You can leave now."
The maid bowed slightly with a small blush before leaving.
Rowan quickly strolled back inside his room and locked the door behind him.
"What the heck is happening?" He bit his finger as he was imrsed in those thoughts.
He wracked his brain for even the simplest explanation, but none were there.
Everything happening was bizarre.
Even though he wasn’t stuck in any form of danger, he felt a great sense of fear.
He rushed to his gaming setup and took a seat.
He turned it on and went straight to the gaming forum.
He scrolled through all the tabs, reading the major headlines and discussions.
But none of them stood out. In fact, he could still rember so of these chats. ’Just what the heck was happening?’
His head ached as his thoughts crumbled.
As he fell back into his thoughts, he could not help but feel that he was gradually going crazy.

anwhile, at the sa ti, standing in a seemingly dazed state inside a noisy supermarket was a tall young man in his early twenties.
He had long white hair and an exquisitely handso face, one that did not match his clothing as he was dressed in a work uniform with the supermarket’s logo on it. He was a shopping assistant.
Shoppers pushed carts around him.
So ladies stole a glance at his face and flashed him flirty smiles, and so young n shot him envious glares.
But he paid no attention.
His mind at the mont was occupied with thoughts.
Not thoughts that could be shared, no. He could actually share them, but who would believe that him, a poor but handso shop assistant, had miraculously transmigrated into a gaming wo
