At the tailors' house, all the won were watching the woman testing the robe Riela had just embroidered, wearing confused expressions.

"Why is she reacting like that?"

"She looks so frozen after wearing the robe. Is everything alright?"

So of them even questioned Riela, but she only asked them to watch what was about to happen next.

Riela stretched out her hand toward a bowl of water placed in a corner of the room and used mana to move the water from the bowl toward the woman wearing the robe.

The water floated above her.

Riela let go, and the water splashed onto her body.

The woman wondered why Riela had suddenly done such a thing, but their confusion was quickly answered.

A small invisible layer seed to form from the robe, causing the water to pour onto the ground without even touching the woman wearing it.

They were all so shocked.

"This... This is very good!"

"Wow, so incredible!"

They began reacting vocally. Enjoy more content from empire

"Lady Riela, this is very good," they praised her.

Riela held up her hands and told them to hold on a second.

The won fell silent and turned their gaze back to the woman wearing the robe.

"You, get a match and try to burn her robe," she ordered.

"What??"

All of them, including the one wearing the robe, reacted at once.

"Do you doubt after seeing that?"

The woman paused for a second before nodding slowly. One of them brought out a traditional locally made match, lit it, and placed it under the dress.

However, the mont the matchstick made contact with the robe, it extinguished as though sothing had blown on it forcefully.

"Wait, the matchstick has little effect. The heat is not up to the level I want," Riela said.

The won turned to look at her once again, confused.

Riela did not reply and removed them.

Luckily, not far away, a family who had just weeded were burning the weeds, and the flas were strong.

The woman wearing the robe felt really scared when she saw Riela smile upon seeing the fire. In her mind, she hoped Riela would not ask her to test the effect on such a dangerous fire.

Sadly, her prayers weren't answered.

Riela made her move closer.

Then she pushed her, causing her to fall into the flas.

"Ahhhh!"

She cried out in fear of the pain that would soon tornt her, or so she thought.

Her eyes were shut, bracing for imnse pain.

Nevertheless, a few seconds passed, and she felt nothing.

Actually, she did feel sothing—it wasn't heat!

She felt really warm, very comfortably warm, to be honest.

"How do you feel?" Riela asked as she helped her up.

The family who had made the fire looked at them with surprise; they were so shocked that they didn't know how to react.

They had just seen soone sent into hazardous flas and co out untouched.

The won beside Riela stared at their colleagues, awaiting her response.

"I felt really good, Lady Riela. I felt no sort of pain," she responded.

She even added that she felt very good wearing it.

Everyone who heard her response was beyond shocked, while Riela only smiled.

"This is our latest invention. With this, I will be able to modify the clothes we make each day and add effects that protect our people from the few things you just witnessed. There are other minor effects that can't be tested physically; I'll discuss them with you all later," she said.

The won nodded their heads attentively, with respect and adoration. They had never expected to be greeted with such wonder that afternoon.

So of them beca curious and inquired how they could do the sa.

"You can't."

Riela replied simply, shattering their hopes.

"Not now, actually," she added, boosting their hope once more.

"But keep working and improving, and one day you might awaken the special skill to do what I do," she concluded.

The won beca excited and eager to do more.

After they were done outside, Riela took them back inside, and they continued working as usual.

Riela was working on a new dress to replicate the enchanted embroidery from the earlier one.

After she was done, she tested it once again on another person. It was perfect, just like the first.

With this success, she began applying the embroidery to the available clothes.

Before evening, she had already applied the embroidery to more than twenty robes, which was incredible considering she had done that in less than four hours.

Furthermore, given how sophisticated and complicated the embroidery was, her speed was out of this world. It would take a normal tailor at least five hours, and a novice more than twenty-four hours.

After the last one, she closed for the day and strolled ho.

While strolling ho, she heard about what had transpired at Bruce's place with Ren and Liara, so she went to check on them before returning ho to prepare sothing to eat.

She then relaxed for a bit and was about to start working on Rowan's robe when Laverena contacted her.

"You've finally achieved your goal," Laverena said, sounding really proud and happy for Riela.

"Thank you, Laverena. It's all thanks to you," Riela replied with a proud smile.

"I knew the skill would be perfect on soone like you. You have such a creative mind. Too bad you were born in a poor, underdeveloped village," Laverena's voice held a hint of disappointnt.

"Rowan is going to make the village better very soon; he just needs so more ti," she defended.

"I believe that Rowan is very special and blessed—more blessed than any other being in this world. I do envy him sotis," Laverena said.

Her relationship with Riela had already grown past goddess and disciple and had almost reached the state of best friends, so she didn't mind sharing her true feelings.

"Envious of Rowan? What sort of blessing does he possess to make a goddess like you envious of a re mortal?" Riela replied.

She did not doubt that Rowan was truly blessed.

But for a goddess to be envious—it was simply unbelievable.

"Rowan is not a re mortal, Riela."
