Lu Sheng was the first to speak.
“I’m going on a long trip and will only be back the day after tomorrow. I ca back to take a look.”
When Lu Ran finished replying Lu Sheng, Mdm Ma said in disbelief, “Lu Ran, aren’t you going to manage this? I heard from Ah Zhen that you’re a good student and it’s only a matter of ti before you pass the county-level examination. You might even beco an official in the future. Lu Ran glanced at her lightly and ignored her.

Chu Sihan did not know how to address this ‘future brother-in-law’.
