At present, Formula One boasts only ten teams, each backed by titans like Ferrari and rcedes-Benz. For decades, the idea of a Chinese team entering the fiercely competitive world of F1 racing seed laughable. Despite China’s teoric economic rise, its automobile industry lags far behind global standards, especially in engine and core automotive technologies. The gap was glaring, and for many, the dream of a Chinese F1 team remained just that—a dream.

For years, F1 was a foreign spectacle, a sport watched and admired from afar. But tis were changing. The construction of world-class racetracks in China and the growing popularity of the sport signaled a shift. Yet, the absence of a hogrown team remained a thorn in the side of Chinese pride. The re thought of a Chinese team going head-to-head with giants like Ferrari or McLaren was enough to draw both laughter and sighs of regret.

But now, a young man—Qin Yuan—had declared his intention to form a racing team and join Formula One. Even more astonishing, he had received the personal blessing of Jean Todt, the FIA president. A Chinese racing team in F1? The possibility hit like a thunderclap, leaving the gathered leaders of the Sports Bureau giddy with excitent. If this news got out, it would electrify the nation, rivaling the thrill of the national football team qualifying for the World Cup. For a mont, they could almost taste the pride of seeing the Chinese flag on an F1 car.

As whispers about Qin Yuan’s identity spread among the bureaucrats, Qin Yuan himself was already heading back to the secondary track with Wang Sicong and the others.

“Let’s hit the main track for a few laps,” Qin Yuan said with a calm smile, climbing into the Bugatti Black Son. The car’s engine roared to life, a crisp, spine-tingling sound that echoed across the track. The crowd couldn’t help but watch in awe as the top supercar glided onto the main track, leading the way.

“My brother Qin is unbelievable! I never thought I’d get to race alongside Lewis Hamilton in my lifeti,” Wang Sicong shouted, practically bouncing with excitent.

“And Raikkonen—my idol! This is a dream co true!” Fu Yang added, his voice trembling with exhilaration.

Zhao Xuehan, the elegant beauty, watched Qin Yuan with a sparkle in her eyes, her thoughts a mix of admiration and curiosity. Just monts ago, she had witnessed him casually converse with global power players, commanding respect with every word. Now, he was about to race with legends. The sheer magnetism of this man was overwhelming.

As the group revved their engines and followed Qin Yuan onto the track, it quickly beca apparent that none of them could keep up. Qin Yuan’s skill behind the wheel was dazzling, his precise maneuvers and flawless curves leaving everyone else in his dust.

“Brother Qin’s driving skills are godlike!” Shen Mingyi exclaid as he watched Qin Yuan speed ahead, effortlessly dominating the track. By the ti the session ended, Qin Yuan had not only left them all in awe but had also firmly cented his place as the group’s unshakable leader.

The excitent didn’t end there. To everyone’s astonishnt, two of the world’s top drivers, Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikkonen, arrived at the track. Spotting Qin Yuan, their faces lit up with genuine joy.

“Qin! It’s been too long,” Hamilton called out, shaking Qin Yuan’s hand warmly.

Raikkonen grinned. “Ready for a few laps?”

What followed was nothing short of extraordinary. Qin Yuan raced alongside the F1 legends, the three of them tearing up the track in a display of raw skill and speed. For Wang Sicong, Fu Yang, and the others, it was the thrill of a lifeti to witness such an event up close, let alone join in for a few rounds.

“That was incredible! I’ll be bragging about this for the rest of my life!” Shen Mingyi shouted as they returned to the pit area, his face flushed with excitent.

“Sicong, your buddy is unbelievable,” Fu Yang said, his voice filled with admiration. “I want to invite him to join HAC Supercar. Hell, I’ll even give up my position as president if he’ll take it.”

Wang Sicong chuckled. “Brother Qin doesn’t care about titles or positions. He’s in a league of his own.”

The group nodded, their expressions a mix of awe and curiosity. “But who is he really?” Zhao Xuehan finally asked, voicing the question on everyone’s mind.

Wang Sicong leaned back, a smug grin on his face. “Let’s just say, if your fathers were here, they’d be too nervous to even breathe in front of Brother Qin.”

A collective gasp followed his words.

That evening, Wang Sicong hosted a lavish banquet in Qin Yuan’s honor. The private dining room at Rongfu Banquet, one of Ninghai’s most exclusive restaurants, was filled with laughter and chatter. Yet, despite the festive atmosphere, one topic dominated the conversation.

“Brother Qin, are you really serious about forming an F1 team?” Fu Yang asked, his tone both excited and cautious.

“It’s too difficult,” another chid in. “Foreign giants have monopolized F1 for decades. We’d be starting from scratch.”

“Look at the NBA or oil investnts—those are areas where Chinese companies thrive. But F1? Without core technologies, how could we possibly compete?”

The doubts swirled around the room until Qin Yuan’s voice cut through, calm yet commanding. “Who says Chinese companies can’t handle Formula One?”
