Chapter 5: Life is like a weather forecast; saying it’ll be sunny but it’s actually raining.
“Hey, Gu ngYang…..”
“I-I’m going downstairs to buy waterlons!”

Chen Xiao had been about to raise a hand, but the red-faced Gu ngYang ran down the stairs quickly, leaving him with a gust of hot air. Clearly he had worked up a lot of courage to dare to face him again. After the two n stroked each other the other morning, they were both embarrassed and didn’t say another word. Gu ngYang just rushed to clean them both up at that ti, then rolled up his bedding and ran back to his house, not waiting for Chen Xiao who was lethargic after just coming. He couldn’t believe he had done such a bold thing…… but now he felt like he was carrying Gu ngYang’s scent on his hands……
“Hey, Gu ngYang……”
A gust of hot air, the other man disappeared across the street.
“Gu…..”
*Bang!* The door slamd almost on his nose.
The veins in Chen Xiao’s forehead throbbed, his face a little dark.
“Gu ngYang! Co out and talk! If you don’t open the door again, I’ll co to your door every morning and jerk off!!”
“Hey, Chen Xiao-!”
“Yo, your ears really are working, huh, are you willing to co out?” Chen Xiao stared at the irritated Gu ngYang’s red face. The unhappiness eased a little in his heart. “Why did you hide from , is it that shaful?”
Gu ngYang opened his mouth and stamred, “……..I’ve always thought……that kind of thing is abnormal…….” His gaze wandered back and forth on the floor, he didn’t dare to look at Chen Xiao. If he said it felt really good, would Chen Xiao think he was a freak? Coming because of a man was weird, wasn’t it……
Chen Xiao frowned because of the three syllables “abnormal” and sarcastically thought, Looks like I’ve never been normal.
He stared at Gu ngYang for a long ti, suddenly not knowing what to say. He wanted to scold but was reluctant to do it, so all he could say was “oh.” He turned towards his own doorstep, with an unspeakable sense of depression in his heart.
“Chen Xiao?! You, you’re angry? I didn’t an to hide from you, I just didn’t know how to face you……every ti I see you, I blush uncontrollably……”
Bang! Chen Xiao felt his heart blow up again, can this kind of thing just be said casually?! Don’t you know how lethal it is! Young people shouldn’t tease people’s appetites like this!
He touched his burning earlobe, not daring to look back, and whispered to the man behind himself: “Then I’ll go to your house for dinner tonight and I want braised fish.”
As he opened his door in a panic, he heard a quiet “good” coming from behind his back and his ears were about to burn.
Damn it, that’s such a foul play……
Gu ngYang cooked a big, good al that night, with fish and at again. He could tell Chen Xiao was starving, his mouth drooling wildly.
“What are you still dazed over, sit down and eat.” Gu ngYang gave him a funny look and put a bowl and chopsticks in front of him.
Gu ngYang’s cooking wasn’t very delicious and it was light, not Chen Xiao’s usual taste, but he couldn’t seem to eat enough. One bite wasn’t yet swallowed before he was stuffing more in, his cheeks completely bulging. Every ti he ca to his house for dinner, he was ridiculed for acting like he was starving to death.
“Hey, eat slowly, no one’s stealing from you.” Sure enough, the man before him had a tone of “hating iron for not becoming steel”, shaking his head with regret. He smoothly grabbed a paper towel and wiped the corners of his mouth.
Damn it, my heartbeat is out of control……
Chen Xiao had beco accustod to Gu ngYang for a long ti now, but he was starting to get shy easily too, how can sothing like this easy blushing, racing heart, and shortness of breath happen to over and over again?!
So he took a deep breath and turned the other side of his face towards Gu ngYang: “Hey, there’s oil here on this side too too.”
“…….oh…….”

After dinner, Chen Xiao went into Gu ngYang’s room to get the fan. He took a peek when he passed the bedside table and glanced at a random picture fra in the corner. In the photo, a Gu ngYang who looked more tender and young than he was now held a sweet-looking girl in his arms; the background seed to be from a university, sunlight shone between the crevices of leaves on the two people. It looked beautiful and stunning. Gu ngYang wasn’t looking at the cara in the picture, but was looking sideways slightly at the girl next to him with a faint smile at the corners of his mouth.
“What are you looking at?”
Chen Xiao’s hand shook and the fan fell to the ground, making a loud noise.
“Ah, what’s going on? It didn’t hit your foot, did it?!”
“It’s okay…..I wasn’t holding it steadily, this is…..your girlfriend?” Chen Xiao, for the first ti, didn’t dare to face Gu ngYang, gaze still locked on the picture. His facial muscles also seed to be stiff and he was sure his voice was trembling, so he reached out and pinched his face fiercely, forcing a smile.
“No, it’s not. As you know, I’m with you almost every day now, when would I have ti for a girlfriend?” Gu ngYang picked up the picture fra and looked at it with interest.
“Haha……that’s true……” Chen Xiao breathed out a shaky breath, bending down and picking up the fan. And then at that mont, he heard Gu ngYang speak again –
“Well……but I always secretly liked my xieujie. In the end, I didn’t dare to confess. Stupid, isn’t it?”
Chen Xiao was stunned, turning his pale face to look at Gu ngYang. The other’s eyes held the sa gentle look as they did in the picture, still looking at the girl.
