Chapter 18: Accompanying you to the elders
The typhoon gave City B a full week of torrential rain. Chen Xiao found Gu ngYang waiting at the door of his company every day after work, even if he took an umbrella with himself.
By the ti the typhoon finally passed and sun returned to the sky, Chen Xiao thought he was about to start growing mushrooms. He and Gu ngYang sat on the balcony and basked in the sun together, with a radio on the side playing a nostalgic song. So cozy.
(t/n: growing mushrooms: be dark and gloomy emotionally like the environnt to grow mushrooms)
The days they were together passed by quickly and, by the ti Chen Xiao realized it, sumr was already over and both of them had changed out of t-shirts.
He said to Gu ngYang with so regret: “Eh, sumr is over, there’s no more waterlon to eat…..”
The other man looked at him with a smile: “Then I’ll stay with you for next year’s sumr too.”
So Chen Xiao’s heart started racing again. He had beco more familiar and more aware of the other, but his heart could still be moved by the man’s words, really annoying.
One ti, when Chen Xiao went to the mall, he found a gray, low-necked sweater he liked, so he asked the clerk for a larger size as well. The thought of Gu ngYang wearing the sa clothes as him had his face flushing and he could feel the heat rushing to his groin. He almost laughed aloud to himself, making the young girl nearby stare at his flushed face.
When he ca ho and took the two sweaters out for Gu ngYang to see, the man was really happy, his ears going red, and he imdiately went to change. Even while complaining that Chen Xiao didn’t ask him to go to the mall or anything, he stripped off everything but that sweater and directly took Chen Xiao to toss around going “uh uh ah ah” for most of the day, until their legs trembled when they got out of bed.
In November, Luo Xin took another trip to City B. This brought back the Gu ngYang who clung to Chen Xiao’s waist vigorously. Even his nostrils were flared wide open. Like this, Luo Xin wasn’t allowed to even approach Chen Xiao.
These two are a little funny, is this revenge for before?
Luo Xin even shook his head and sighed: “Aiya, the Yangtze River drives the waves behind, the front wave dies on the beach. This kid was so pure that he tickled my heart just a few months ago. I’m have to ask, Chen Xiao, did you raise him poorly?”
Chen Xiao felt wronged in his heart, yo, this is because of you, I’m going to be bullied to death.
Luo Xin didn’t stay at Chen Xiao’s this ti, saying it was because he feared hearing the sound of screaming that would shatter his ears. The angry Chen Xiao shouted for Gu ngYang to chase him down and fight him, although, in his heart, Gu ngYang really wanted to do so evil things.
And then, when they were seeing Luo Xin off at the airport, he took advantage of Gu ngYang’s absence to hug Chen Xiao.
“Hey, He JinFei ca to see before.”
“Him? How did he find you?”
“I asked the boy what he did to you, it seed like he couldn’t let you go.”
“Okay, okay, when did this happen, that…… You didn’t do anything to him, right?”
Luo Xin smiled with a “heehee,” the laugh making Chen Xiao’s scalp go numb: “Aiya, you sure know . I really did it to him.”
“You…….what did you do with him??”
“Mounted him.”
Chen Xiao yelled, “What?!?!” His entire worldview was almost upended. In the past, He JinFei was always a 1.
“Don’t worry, I didn’t hurt him. He didn’t know how good it could feel and he even ca a few tis. I think it’s a sha he’s a 1, heehee.” Luo Xin licked his lips after he spoke. The stunned Chen Xiao with a red face from sha couldn’t say anything besides “you, you, you” for a long ti. “Hey, Chen Xiao, you were the shou with He JinFei, but he was under …… Does it feel like you were indirectly mounted by ?”
“…….Fuck! Luo Xin, you don’t want to live, do you?!”
“Hahaha, you’re really mad. I’m kidding……. Hey, are you really not coming back with ?”
“No, I’ll probably go back with Gu ngYang at the end of the year.”
In the distance, Gu ngYang was approaching. Chen Xiao’s eyes curved up and he imdiately called out a greeting.
Luo Xin played with his hair and sighed softly: “Aiya, he’s got a new love and forgotten his old one…..”
And then Christmas ca and heaven sent down the snow. Chen Xiao, wearing a scarf Gu ngYang bought him, had only half his face showing and the tip of his nose was red. He turned his head and glanced at Gu ngYang, who was wearing the sa scarf, and smiled silently. The two n walked down the busy street and no one noticed their hands clasped together under their thick coats. Whenever Chen Xiao’s hand got a little cold, Gu ngYang would imdiately take his hand, put it in his coat pocket, and cover it with his own. Occasionally, a girl’s excited scream would reach their ears, but no one bothered them.
Chen Xiao had never imagined he could have such a happy mont. What he wanted was very simple, just a man who he could grow old together with. Nothing too exciting, just the two people sitting and chatting and having dinner together. Even though he had wavered because of so people’s love in their community, he still hadn’t given up on that wish.
And now –
He looked at the larger man who hadn’t opened his eyes yet. He smiled and went over to kiss his mouth, his cheeks, his nose, and his eyelids.
The waking man wrapped his arms around him a little tighter, responding to his kisses in a daze.
“Happy New Year, Chen Xiao…..”
“Happy New Year, Gu ngYang.”
“Mmm….and also…..I love you…..”
At this mont, Chen Xiao was so excited he could cry, what’s not to be satisfied with?
