Chapter 447

He Ling Su was stunned for a mont, then watched as Lu Sheng strode forward.

An invisible force seed to radiate from him, and under its power, the black-suited n who had tried to approach him were suddenly flung away like scarecrows in a tornado. One by one, they were thrown violently into the crowd, causing chaos as people scread and tumbled over each other.

“Is this guy a Master?!” Soone in the crowd couldn’t help but exclaim, their face showing shock.

The stern man’s expression changed, and he quickly issued orders.

From the Zhou family’s side, a handso young man with short hair and a tall, upright figure suddenly lit up, launching himself into the air like a bird, landing swiftly in front of Lu Sheng.

“Interesting.”

The young man, whose features bore a resemblance to Zhou Yuming, had an entirely different deanor.

A powerful and invisible aura radiated from him, like a rock standing firmly in the center of the chaos. He wore a well-fitted blue suit, his body tall and refined, and exuded an air of elegance. But the most striking thing about him was the diamond badge pinned to his left chest, gleaming brightly under the light, signifying his status and strength. A Level 7 Martial Master!

“I didn’t expect to encounter soone like you at a re banquet …” The young man smiled, but before he could finish his sentence, his pupils suddenly contracted.

A white, powerful hand tore through the air with a sharp whistling sound, enlarging rapidly in the young man’s vision.

The young man raised his arm in a hurry. But his thick arms, under that hand, were as fragile as straw, breaking and twisting into unnatural angles with a crisp snap. The hand didn’t stop, pressing gently on his chest.

His chest caved in rapidly, and without uttering a sound, the young man was sent flying like a kite with a broken string, soaring into the distance.

Two martial Masters, each wearing diamond badges, had just stepped out from the crowd. Seeing this scene, they both froze in shock.

They exchanged glances, instinctively reaching a mutual understanding. Without hesitation, they both launched a coordinated attack on Lu Sheng from either side, their martial wills sharp as blades.

But Lu Sheng didn’t even bother to glance at them. He simply raised his right hand slightly, and in an instant, it seed to disappear.

The next mont, the two Masters, who had nearly reached him, coughed up blood as their chests collapsed. They were sent flying back, crashing into the walls at the edge of the banquet hall, leaving behind cracks where they had struck, before slowly sliding down like paintings …

From the mont the dignified man of the Chen family gave the order, to Lu Sheng making his move, to the confrontation with Zhou Zhilin and the other martial Masters, and finally to the conclusion of the fight—all of this seed to take a long ti, but in reality, it only took a matter of breaths.

By the ti the onlookers reacted, only Lu Sheng remained standing in the center of the scene.

Many people were left in awe. The people attending this banquet were of high status, with no shortage of experience.

The earlier black-suited n could be overlooked, but later, Zhou Zhilin and the two enforcers hired by the Chen family—each one bearing a shining diamond badge on their chest, certified Level 7 martial Masters by the Martial Arts Association—had been defeated by Lu Sheng with little effort.

In fact, it wasn’t even an effort—each of them was dispatched with a single strike.

Instantly defeating Level 7 martial Masters? How strong must this seemingly young man be?

As they pondered this, many felt their scalps tingle and couldn’t help but retreat further.

The mbers of the Chen and Zhou families wore expressions of disbelief, their faces filled with terror, staring at Lu Sheng as if he were so sort of monster.

Especially the man in the white suit from the Chen family and Zhou Yuming— their eyes were practically bulging out of their sockets.

“How can this be? He’s so young! How is this possible?”

“No wonder he’s so fearless …” He Ling Su’s mother, the middle-aged woman, was hurriedly retreating into the crowd in panic.

“Masters! Is there any Master willing to lend a hand? My Chen family will surely reward you generously!” The dignified man from the Chen family shouted loudly to the surrounding crowd.

Among the crowd, several middle-aged n, each with a dignified deanor, quickly covered the diamond badges on their chests and quietly retreated further into the group.

Despite the Chen family’s man calling for help several tis, no one stepped forward. In fact, the crowd continued to move further back.

“Do you see this, He Ling Su?” Lu Sheng pointed to the faces of those around them, filled with fear, panic, and chaos, and said calmly to He Ling Su, “This is the aristocratic family you’ve been wanting to cling to.”

He Ling Su’s expression was dazed, unsure if she fully absorbed Lu Sheng’s words.

At that mont, a commotion erupted at the entrance of the banquet hall.

A deep, powerful voice echoed through the room.

“Who dares to cause trouble at my birthday banquet?!” Upon hearing this voice, the mbers of the Chen family lit up with joy, and everyone in the banquet hall turned their gaze to the entrance.

The crowd blocking the door parted to either side. A dozen figures quickly strode in from outside, each one exuding powerful energy and presence.

So were in suits, others in military uniforms, and more than one of them had the diamond badges representing martial Masters on their chests.

At the front of the group were three especially imposing individuals.

To the left was a man with black hair, appearing to be in his fifties, dressed in a white martial robe, his re presence commanding respect. He bore a striking resemblance to the dignified man from the Chen family.

Everyone knew this man well—he was the guest of honor for this banquet, Chen Jingnan, the patriarch of the Chen family.

Standing beside Chen Jingnan were two others whose auras far surpassed his.

One, standing in the center, wore a deep blue military uniform adorned with nurous dals. His left shoulder bore seven golden stars that glead brightly.

A general!

To his right was an elderly man dressed in traditional Zhongshan attire, with a full head of white hair yet still youthful eyes, his presence equal to that of the general.

As soon as so of the guests recognized these individuals, the crowd erupted in murmurs of astonishnt.

“A general from the military! Wow—who would have thought the Chen family had connections with the military as well!

A Seven-star general—he’s one of the top figures in the military!”

“And there’s Jiang He, the Vice President of the Jingdu Provincial Martial Arts Association! He’s been a renowned Level 8 Grandmaster for years!”

“The Chen family has deep roots indeed!”

The Chen family mbers were overjoyed, their faces filled with excitent.

The dignified man, who had earlier been forced to beg the guests for help, now turned to look at Lu Sheng with a cold sneer.

His expression and posture seed to say, “You’re done for.”

Lu Sheng squinted his eyes as he looked at the three approaching figures, his gaze briefly sweeping over the military general, not lingering long. Instead, his attention fell on Jiang He, dressed in his Zhongshan suit.

Back when Lu Sheng participated in the National College Martial Arts Tournant, Jiang He had been the host. Lu Sheng had killed Lian Jibei right in front of him, and they had almost co to blows.

Who would have thought they’d et again today?
