Black Shell was puzzled, "Spirit Cultivator No.4 setting a trap? What do you an?"
"This..."
Wang Jixuan did not answer directly but instead posed a question.
"Shell Instructor, do you think Spirit Cultivators would really betray each other?"
"It’s hard to say, but after all, there are only six Spirit Cultivators..."
Black Shell stroked his chin, muttering:
"According to our logic, at this ti, the Spirit Cultivators should be wary of each other."
"But I saw Shen Qionglin’s report earlier."
"It was very detailed. Spirit Cultivators are inherently arrogant. They regard themselves as demigods, and they also consider the power of the Blade Beasts as a manifestation of their own bestowed strength; their power is reflected in the strength of the Blade Beasts."
"The report said that there is indeed so discord among the six Spirit Cultivators. No.4 inadvertently revealed a disdainful attitude toward the other Spirit Cultivators... They’re also forming cliques."
Wang Jixuan nodded, "The intelligence I’ve received this ti nearly matches the previous reports by Shen Qionglin."
He looked down, and echoes of No.4’s words resurfaced in his mind:
"The one hidden beneath Snow Mountain is really called Weier Ami Tu Ke, assuming a female form, but of course, gender is aningless to us."
"How she is doing specifically, I’m not very clear."
"Our intelligence sharing amongst each other is fluid; she is likely in hibernation. The information shared each ti is so pre-set scenarios describing how she’s doing, whether her thoughts are clear, the state of her Core Circuit, and so forth."
"We haven’t communicated directly through logical language for a long ti."
"Logical communication is similar to the distress signal I sent to those three under Spiritual Ability City; it’s based on our own thoughts."
"Her core circuit is controlled by Nature Elent magic, skilled in large-scale, high-efficiency annihilation of enemies. She was also the focus of the Blade Beast siege, so her injuries are the most severe."
"Not to hide it from you, I have so grudges with her."
"She adheres to extre evil, believes all living beings are inherently evil, and defines beastliness as evilness. Our usual definition is that beastliness is instinct, while godliness is restraint."
"The planets that were once cultivated by her and her followers have suffered greatly."
"If she regains her strength... Believe , her ideology will overturn your imagination."
"The Spirit Cultivators you’ve nad No.1, No.2, and No.3, are powerful and traditional; they could be considered conservative. My friend and I are Liberals, non-aggressive."
"Weier Ami Tu Ke is part of the Radical Faction."
"The Blade Beast crisis originated from such radicals like her who secretly developed Pillar Level Blade Beasts against our opposition..."
Wait.
Wang Jixuan didn’t fully trust this information.
He organized his thoughts and conveyed a simplified version to Black Shell. —These pieces of intelligence, he’d already shared tily with Fu Jian.
Black Shell fell silent after listening.
He mumbled, "So you an, on the surface we’re going after Xing Dian, but in reality, we’re targeting this Weier...Spirit Cultivator No.5?"
"No," Wang Jixuan replied calmly, "we’re indeed going after Xing Dian. No.5 is just a strategic resource; we can’t take No.4’s words at face value since he seldom speaks the truth."
"Right!"
Black Shell slapped his forehead:
"Okay, I think I got it!"
"We’ll land near an abandoned fortress ruin 360 kiloters away from Snow Mountain Base, where we’ve arranged for ground forces to et us."
"Are the ground forces reliable?" Wang Jixuan asked.
"They’re reliable; they’re our people who have infiltrated from the periphery into D2."
Black Shell paused to think:
"If Spirit Cultivators are really that powerful, and No.5 has a cooperative or even a subjugating relationship with Xing Dian, then they might sense Zheng Shiduo and Ji Xiao’s transport aircraft."
"Haven’t you said before to split up, letting them who might be exposed to travel later?"
"Our two landing spots are different."
Daoist Wang nodded and turned to look out the porthole.
This transport was maintaining multiple layers of invisibility, ’slowly’ rushing through high altitudes.
At this mont, he was indeed worried about the safety of Zheng Shiduo and Wu Man.
Wang Jixuan said, "As long as you let get near Snow Mountain, there will be no more secrets there."
They have no ans to guard against Spiritual Sense.
Black Shell nodded, "I’ll go to the electronic warfare cabin to monitor. We need to be ready for combat once we leave the D5 boundary. I don’t know why, but I have a feeling this operation won’t go too smoothly. Better make extra plans."
Wang Jixuan nodded with a smile.
He thought for a mont and, once Mu Dan was equipped with the black-gray ’Invisibility’ armor, he also changed into his own X armor.
Safety first.
Three hours later, Wang Jixuan looked down at the approaching mountains and forests below, carefully observing with his Spiritual Sense the furthest distance, and smiled to himself.
Am I being overly cautious?
"Peony, ask about Dragonfly Lady’s situation."
"Sure thing."
"Drop the ’thing’!"
"Yes, Commander."
...
Ding ding.
Underground, in a corner of a tunnel left by Blade Beasts, inside a shuttle.
Dragonfly Lady yawned, climbing out of the reclined seat, and glanced alertly at the data on the nearby surveillance monitor before sighing in relief.
Picking up the communicator, Dragonfly Lady’s mouth twitched a few tis.
[Big Peony: Where are you guys? Dead yet? If not, wanna et up?]
"Do you think this is eting a friend you made online?"
Dragonfly Lady muttered to herself.
Ding ding!
[Big Peony: I brought you so talisman water and sugar pills!]
Dragonfly Lady pondered for a mont and replied briefly.
[Mai Xiaoi: Give a general direction, no precise location.]
[Big Peony: Snow Mountain Base, west by southwest twenty-five degrees, how are you getting here?]
[Mai Xiaoi: I’ll fly over!]
[Big Peony: Then we’ll wait for you a bit, hurry up and fly, the second team landed elsewhere, they need ti to get here and regroup.]
Dragonfly Lady slightly cocked her head, with a trace of wariness flickering in her eyes.
Why does Peony’s wording seem a bit frivolous?
Is it a trap?
As Dragonfly Lady was pondering, the control panel beside her suddenly flashed red, indicating that Mane Bear’s green marker had turned red.
Crackle.
Mane Bear’s voice ca through the nearby headset, still calm:
"I’m surrounded, sothing’s off, it’s like they discovered a while ago and have suddenly made their move."
Dragonfly Lady picked up the headset and asked, "Can you escape?"
"They haven’t noticed a few escape routes I left; these guys aren’t very professional, but there are a few Level A Spiritual Ability Users who are tricky."
"Hmm," said Dragonfly Lady, her expression cold, "rember, you can’t be captured now."
"Understood, Captain, don’t worry."
Whooshing wind sounds ca from Mane Bear’s side:
"I’m worried if the timing of my exposure could send back false information."
"Then I’ll remind them."
Dragonfly Lady’s thumb was already typing a ssage on the communicator, without any hesitation, she imdiately clicked send.
Crackle.
"Captain, I must destroy the call logs now, see you at Safe House No.3."
"Okay," said Dragonfly Lady, her gaze unwavering as she started the shuttle, tossing the headset aside, "survive and I’ll introduce you to a tough woman."
"I like them young."
"Then try dying for a bit."
Beep beep beep.
The call turned to a busy signal on its own, the last sound that ca through was a faint explosion from Mane Bear’s end.
He had destroyed his communication device.
Dragonfly Lady began to slowly turn the shuttle, with the Magnetic Aura of the shuttle faintly glowing, levitating a foot above the ground in the tunnel.
Just as she was about to leave, the miniature robots she had previously released, parasite eggs, had detected no danger around her.
Dragonfly Lady looked around idly, then using her abilities, she saw Mane Bear running wildly towards a mountain not far from Rainbow Town, followed by several chasing unmanned drones.
Without watching longer, she imdiately turned the throttle of the shuttle.
"Hmm-hmm~"
In the pitch-black underground tunnel, a faint singing voice suddenly echoed.
A pitch-black butterfly, having appeared at so point, rested on the outside of the special glass of Dragonfly Lady’s shuttle’s windshield, gently fluttering its wings.
