Translator: Lonelytree Editor: Millman97

Who is she talking to?

Su Zhinian frowned and resud taking off his shoes. He walked into the living room with faltering steps and spotted the phone in her hand.

So, she’s on the phone... Even though Su Zhinian could normally tell instantly who was on the other end of the line, that night, his brain was addled by alcohol.

"Brother Yinan, you have drunk too much tonight, let’s chat so other ti, you need to get so rest."

Su Zhinian’s body froze; his feet stuck to the ground.

Qin Yinan... Of course, she is talking to Qin Yinan... She rejected my ride ho just to take care of Qin Yinan. Even after she took him back ho, she was still talking to Qin Yinan...

Fury coursed through Su Zhinian’s body, cooking up a potent cocktail of bitterness and jealousy.

He zeroed in on Song Qingchun and saw the gentle smile that decorated her face. She replied in a soft, sweet, gentle, and also slightly irked voice, "I know, Brother Yinan, I will go to bed soon..."

Su Zhinian’s fists suddenly tightened, and a part on his left chest expanded with great pain, like it could explode at any mont. It made him feel greatly uncomfortable.

He glared at her smiling face that was like a flower in bloom, and with a squint of his eyes, he controlled her hand that held the phone and opened it.

"Okay... Good bye, Brother Yinan... Good..." Just as Song Qingchun was ready to say the word "night", her hand that held the phone suddenly opened, and the phone slipped out of her hand, pulled by gravity. It landed heavily on the marble floor.

Very soon, Song Qingchun ca to with her eyes blinking. She stared confusedly at her palm that was empty before lowering her head to look at the screen of her phone, which had cracked; the phone call had cut off.

Did my hand shake just now? When did the phone fall to the floor?

Song Qingchun frowned deeply. Just as she bent down to grab her phone, she noticed, out of the corner of her eye, that a person had been standing behind her since god knows when.

Song Qingchun shuddered involuntarily and whipped her whole body around. She realized it was Su Zhinian who was standing half a ter behind her with his lips pursed.

When did he reach ho? Why does he have to stand behind people so quietly like that? Who is he trying to scare?

Song Qingchun inhaled to calm her frazzled nerves. It was then that she realized the ugly expression on Su Zhinian’s face. His eyes that stared at her did not have one bit of warmth; they were frighteningly cold.

Song Qingchun instinctively gulped in fear. She tried her best to suppress the nerves that were unravelling once again. She grinned slightly at Su Zhinian and said carefully, "Mr. Su, you’re ho?"

Su Zhinian ignored her and continued staring at her unblinkingly.

He was fine during dinner, so what happened?

Song Qingchun sweated under his scrutiny. Her fists tightened unconsciously, and she forced another smile at him. "Mr. Su, do you wish to have anything to drink?"

There was still no reaction from Su Zhinian, but Song Qingchun noticed his pupils were rapidly constricting. A powerful presence assaulted her, causing her breath to stop in her throat. She asked in a shaking voice, "Or do you wish to take a shower first? Do you want to draw a warm bath for you?"
