Seeing Mark react violently, Jay beca curious,

"What happened?"

Imdiately, Mark started complaining.

"What else? The manager of that place just keeps on putting the bla on for everything wrong that happens there."

"Those aren't even my work, why push it all on ?"

"But what actually triggered to quit is that, just the other day, that guy actually cursed at in front of many people!"

"Can you imagine? My mom never even cursed at , but that b*stard boss did. Where did he get the audacity?"

"So, I snapped right then and cursed back at him."

Saying that, a smile appeared on Mark face as he said,

"Ahh~ thinking about it, I still can't help but feel so refreshed."

Looking at his reaction, Jay shook his head and said, "It seems like you really burst out, huh."

"Well, since it's like that anyway, it was probably for the best that you left that place."

Mark nodded, agreeing with his words.

Then he said, "By the way, are you going to work today?"

Jay paused and thought about it.

Honestly, with the Cube with him, Jay doesn't think he will have to worry about problems with money in the future.

That ans, he doesn't really have to bother going to work at this point.

But Jay seems to have thought of sothing and said, "Yeah, I will be going there after I get back from jogging."

"Oh, okay." Mark said, already expecting that reply.

Mark turned his attention back to Zia and the girls around her, clearly admiring them.

Jay just shook his head helplessly at his behavior and stood up.

Patting Mark on the shoulder, he said, "It seems that you're still busy. I'll go first!"

Jay started jogging in a steady phase one last ti before heading out of the sports complex.

...

Back at Jay's apartnt unit.

Jay headed directly to the bathroom and washed up his sweaty body.

After he got out, Jay changed into a casual outfit before leaving the apartnt.

The place where Jay works is in the town center where most of the businesses here in the province are located.

From clothing stores to restaurants, all could be found here in the town center.

Jay is working in a popular local restaurant here.

When he arrived at the town center using a tricycle, a public transport, Jay stopped outside a restaurant with a sign above that says "Anything Grilled".

Entering through the back door, Jay appeared in a locker room.

Right now, a lot of other people are already in here, changing into their uniforms.

They are Jay's coworkers.

When they saw Jay entering, they imdiately greeted, "Hey, Jay, good morning!"

"Morning, Jay."

"Sup, Jay!"

Jay nodded to them and greeted them back one by one.

"Hey, Lorna!"

"Jas, morning!"

"Sup, l!"

Just from this interaction, it could be seen that everyone has an amicable relationship with each other.

This is all thanks to the good environnt in this workplace.

Camaraderie is the value that is placed with importance by the owner of this restaurant.

After changing into their uniform, everyone imdiately went into their own stations.

As a part-tir, Jay's job here is mostly dishwashing, cleaning the floor, and throwing the trash.

7:30am.

Since it is still early, the restaurant is just about to open.

But Jay is already in the sink, making sure that everything is clean and spotless.

All restaurants have to abide by the hygiene safety process. This is to ensure that all custors can put their confidence in the place where they won't get sick.

After the restaurant opened, the first custor of the day soon arrived.

Everyone imdiately started moving, and the day for the restaurant once again began.

With everyone busy doing their work, only the cluttering sounds around the kitchen could be heard along with the main cook's voice.

In that kind of environnt, ti soon passed and it's already noon.

Seeing that, Jay cleared up everything in his station before going to the locker room.

Because he's only a part-tir, Jay only works for 5 hours here everyday.

After he took off his uniform, Jay walked out of the locker room and went to the restaurant lobby, planning to eat first before going ho.

But just then, Jay noticed that the owner was actually there, standing with a frown on his face.

Walking up to him, Jay greeted, "Good day, boss!"

Hearing soone talking to him, the owner turned to look and when he saw that it's Jay, his expression eased a bit.

"Oh, Jay. Is your duty over?"

Nodding, Jay said, "Yes, boss. I'm already done."

"Alright, that's good."

Seeing that the owner seems to be a bit out of sorts, Jay couldn't help but ask, "Boss, is there a problem? Maybe I can help."

To this restaurant, Jay is actually very thankful.

As a part-tir, he's been to a lot of other places to work and he already experienced a lot of things.

Unfair treatnt, delayed salary, always angry boss, and a lot more things.

However, when he ca here, only then did Jay manage to find peace in his work.

The boss is very friendly to his employees and doesn't use that as leverage to make them work more.

He doesn't take advantage of his people and is an honest and respectable businessman.

Because of that, Jay can't help but co forward and inquire if he could help.

Hearing his words, the owner raised his head and looked back at Jay.

With scrutinizing eyes, he seems to be thinking of sothing before his eyes suddenly light up.

"That's right!"

"You could help , Jay!"

Saying that, the owner imdiately told him the problem.

The perforr for today is missing!

As a popular local place, Anything Grilled doesn't just serve good food, they also provide good entertainnt!

Everyday, a perforr plays at the stage in front, singing or doing cody for the custors.

This is also one of the things that made them popular.

However, the perforr that the owner specially invited for today suddenly couldn't co for so reason.

That's where his dilemma cos from!
