Harrison knew very well that their silence up until now would factor into Kaitō Kid’s planning. Any uncertainty, Kaitō Kid would surely prepare for.

At the very least, Kaitō Kid would have a contingency for ergencies. That’s why Harrison wasn’t planning to make a move until after the theft was complete.

The mont the heist ended would also be the ti when Kaitō Kid’s guard would be at its lowest—making it the best opportunity to strike.

Even the agents positioned at various intersections were all hiding in the shadows instead of setting up visible checkpoints, just to avoid alarming the target.

"All units, stay sharp. Report the mont you spot Kaitō Kid. No one acts without orders!"

Bruce relayed Harrison’s instructions, practically trembling with excitent as he waited for Kaitō Kid to walk into their trap.

Zhang Yang sped toward Water Plant No. 4 on his off-road motorcycle.

The area was completely deserted, with only dead trees and weeds around. Any slight movent could attract attention.

So in Zhang Yang’s plan, there was no such thing as sneaking in. He was coming in boldly.

A few of the dia livestreams were still describing the layout inside the old plant. Davis had ordered each person to lead a dog and patrol all corners of the facility.

[Using the simplest thod to deal with the most sophisticated thief—this is peak Davis!]

[There’s no way Kaitō Kid doesn’t get spotted in this kind of environnt—unless we’re seeing ghosts!]

[Bruce and Harrison still haven’t shown up. Don’t tell they’ve given up and aren’t even planning to catch Kaitō Kid?]

[How will Kaitō Kid show up this ti?]

[I’ve been dying to see that flash of white again. It’s been way too long!]

While the comnt section was exploding, the roar of a dirt bike engine grew louder.

The livestream caras instinctively panned toward the entrance—just in ti to catch a white figure riding an off-road motorcycle straight through the gate!

Zhang Yang brought the bike to a stop and flashed a gentlemanly smile at the caras.

Rather than going to all the trouble of getting "discovered," he might as well make a bold entrance.

"Oh my god, it’s Kaitō Kid!"

"Ladies and gentlen, Kaitō Kid has arrived!"

"Oh my god! What a shock—he just rode straight in!"

The reporters were visibly shaken, stunned by Zhang Yang’s choice of entrance. No one expected him to show up like this!

[What the hell? What’s Kaitō Kid planning now?]

[This is insane. He just boldly charged into the water plant?]

[Oh shit! Davis must’ve never imagined that Kaitō Kid had no intention of sneaking in!]

[You can never predict Kaitō Kid. Is he just planning to rob the place in broad daylight?]

[Too cool. A real superhero—I’m obsessed!]

The chat in the livestreams went wild.

Zhang Yang’s appearance was so abrupt that Davis’s people didn’t react in ti. Even the dogs they were holding hesitated for several seconds before they started barking wildly.

Soon, people ca rushing from every direction—along with their dogs.

The noise from the barking dogs was giving Zhang Yang a headache. He raised his index finger to his lips and gave them a quiet "shh."

The next second, the chaotic barking stopped completely.

[Oh my god! Did the dogs just understand Kaitō Kid?]

[Hahaha, dogs really are man’s most loyal friends. That saying is spot-on!]

[These dogs are way too gentle. Can’t they tell friend from foe?]

[What the hell? Can Kaitō Kid actually control these dogs?]

[I’m dying laughing—are these really trained professionals?]

After the dogs quieted down, the handlers beside them imdiately tried to provoke them, attempting to stir up aggression.

Zhang Yang smiled faintly. With max-level Beast Mastery, these dogs could only obey him unconditionally.

At that mont, Harrison and Bruce were watching the livestream from their car. The scene shocked them as well.

"Shit!"

"Harrison, how the hell did Kaitō Kid do that?"

"These dogs are trained to follow commands. Why aren’t they reacting to him?"

Harrison shook his head grimly. He couldn’t figure it out either.

Professionally trained dogs could understand commands and respond with precision. They definitely wouldn’t follow orders from anyone other than their handlers.

When Davis’s n saw the dogs staying still, they imdiately issued new commands, ordering them to attack Zhang Yang.

But dozens of dogs just whimpered, refusing to move. They didn’t follow the orders at all.

That scene left the livestream viewers completely dumbfounded.

[Where did Davis find these dogs? Was he serious about using them to deal with Kaitō Kid?]

[Turns out FBI agents are still more useful than these dogs. At least they wouldn’t hesitate after spotting Kaitō Kid...]

[Relying on dogs like this—Davis is a fool!]

[These dogs are actually resisting their handlers’ commands? What did Kaitō Kid do to them?]

[He just got here. What could he possibly have done?]

The chat was blowing up with people puzzled as to why the dogs disobeyed orders and reacted this way toward Kaitō Kid.

The next second, Zhang Yang raised his hand and casually snapped his fingers.

A dozen petals fluttered out between his thumb and index finger, floating and swirling as they fell.

"Sit."

Zhang Yang said the word calmly, lips barely moving.

And the dogs, as if responding to a master’s voice, instantly obeyed and sat.

The livestream exploded with chaos.

[What the hell?! The dogs actually followed Kaitō Kid’s command?!]

[Oh my god! Do these dogs not know who their master is?!]

[Unbelievable. Didn’t expect a twist like this!]

[Is Kaitō Kid also a dog trainer? Why are these dogs listening to him?!]

anwhile, Davis sat stiffly in his chair, watching the livestream, his face growing darker by the second.

These dogs had cost him a fortune to rent. He was assured they were professionally trained and would follow orders to the letter.

"Fuck!"

"Bastard! He even tricked !"

Davis cursed furiously. He never imagined Kaitō Kid would appear so brazenly at the water plant.

Even more so, he couldn’t believe that the dogs he paid for would ignore their trainers and instead obey Kaitō Kid.

As the dogs sat obediently, Davis’s n quickly tugged on their leashes, trying to pull them up.

But no matter how hard they tried, the dogs didn’t budge.

So leashes even slipped off their necks, yet the dogs still refused to stand.

Then Zhang Yang cleared his throat and gave another command.

"Guard!"

The mont the word left his mouth, the previously motionless dogs sprang to life, trying to rush toward Zhang Yang.

Davis’s n clenched the leashes as tightly as they could, desperate to hold them back.

But after only a few seconds, one after another, the dogs broke free and dashed to Zhang Yang’s side, barking ferociously at Davis’s handlers.
