Chapter 742: Chapter 739: The Deluxe Hunter Team

“Tap, tap, tap.”

In the well-ordered office, everyone was busy working with their heads down.

The tapping sounds of keyboards, the hissing of printers at work, and the suppressed laughter couldn’t drown out the crisp sound of high heels on the floor.

A golden-haired beauty in office lady attire and black tights took quick, small steps in her heels, stirring up a fragrant breeze that tickled the noses of all the n, who couldn’t help but take a deep breath, watching the blonde woman enter the manager’s office.

Once the door closed, everyone couldn’t help but feel a sense of loss, while the female staff mbers collectively rolled their eyes.

Everyone perked up their ears; the office fell silent, with faint murmurs seeping through the cracks of the door. Monts later, the conversation ceased, and the office beca lively once again—only this ti, there were no whispers or low chuckles, just the unique hum of machinery at work.

The manager pushed open the door, looked around satisfactorily, nodded his head, and then clapped his hands to draw everyone’s attention to himself.

“Diana, are all the cara crew in place?”

“Ready to go, Mr. Fisk.”

Fisk encouraged loudly, “The struggle between an unbeaten Federal Investigator and the world’s number one Explorer will definitely bring us an unimaginable audio-visual feast!”

“Mm.”

Robert Clark nodded again, and although he looked calm on the surface, he was indeed looking forward to this mock apprehension.

Excitent twinkled in Fisk’s eyes as the photographer who followed him fild Robert from all angles, capturing footage for an introduction segnt of the show.

Robert Clark.

After working for 30 years with local and federal law enforcent, this Black behemoth retired from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as a supervising agent.

He was responsible for overseeing various criminal projects of the FBI, including the Gang and Violent Cri Division.

In his career, he had helped capture so of the most cunning criminals and fugitives in the country and led hundreds of operations against gang/drug/violent cris, achieving astonishing successes in his professional life.

This Black behemoth would also serve as the chairman in this operation, responsible for the apprehension plan and coordinating the action.

The second person to enter the room was a mature brown-haired woman, Teresa Payton, the Chief Information Officer of this operation.

The first female Chief Information Officer of the Black Palace, she was in charge of IT services for more than 3,000 mbers of President Bush’s and the Executive Office administrations.

She was also the CEO of Fortalice Solutions, a leading security consulting company, and a co-founder of Dark Cubed, a cybersecurity product company.

“Jerry, how is the Hunter Team doing?”

“Prid and ready.”

“And the escape group?”

“Their movents are normal.”

“Excellent,” Mr. Fisk nodded, sticking out his little belly, “The first episode of the first season of ‘Sneak Pursuit’ achieved a viewership rating of over 4.1, aning that another eleven million people watched our show. As all of you in the television industry are aware, this is quite a concept.”

Many nodded to themselves, as over five million loyal viewers were already quite rare.

With the advancent of technology, a noticeable phenonon is that as smartphones and other intelligent electronic devices beco commonplace, televisions are increasingly marginalized, even relegated to being re living room ornants.

Consequently, traditional TV viewership rates have been lower year after year, and the overall industry has been in a slump.

Forget about the 30 percent, 40 percent, or even 50 percent viewership rates of twenty years ago—nowadays, there aren’t even double-digit rates. Holding a program with over a three-point viewership rating is already leading the television industry.

Therefore, ‘Sneak Pursuit,’ averaging a two-point viewership rating, is definitely a popular show, and with additional online site viewership, it also has a considerable global reputation.

“However, I believe the potential of ‘Sneak Pursuit’ is far from being fully tapped. The eighteen contestants of the first season were all amateurs. The fact that we attracted so many viewers was purely due to the appeal of ‘Sneak Pursuit’ itself. But what if all eighteen contestants were celebrities?”

The viewership ratings would surely be even higher!

This was almost a foregone conclusion, clear to everyone present.

Mr. Fisk started placing photos one by one onto the board—each one was familiar. So were football players, so were presenters, and others were singers or actors, each with considerable fa. Finally, an Asian face was posted on the board.

People could no longer hold back and began to whisper among themselves.

“Is that GOD·FANG?”

“My goodness, he agreed to participate in ‘Sneak Pursuit’?”

Mr. Fisk’s small round eyes paused on each worker’s face, and upon seeing their expressions, a look of ‘I thought so’ triumph appeared on his face.

Managing to invite Bi Fang to join ‘Sneak Pursuit’ was indeed a stroke of genius for him!

This explorer, who had repeatedly perford astonishing feats, had beco famous all over the world.

The most important thing was that there was a certain overlap in the content of the two shows, which ant that their fans could easily convert to each other!

Mr. Fisk passionately pounded the blackboard, “What we have before us now is such an opportunity! An opportunity to pull the ratings of the first episode of the second season above 5! To raise the average ratings above 3!”

At this mont, everyone held their breath, feeling a surge of excitent within.

If they really could produce a show with a rating of 3, the glory would not only belong to Fisk but to every one of them, because from now on, everyone’s resu could boldly state in bold font: they had been part of a team that created a phenonal program!

“Then I formally announce, the second season of Stealth Pursuit, officially starts filming!”

At Mr. Fisk’s command, the restless employees sprang into action, as each dedicated photographer shouldered their professional equipnt and rushed towards the main door, heading toward their targets according to the given addresses.

Each group of fugitives had their dedicated photographer.

While the photographers were not yet in position, Fisk hurried downstairs to a spacious room filled with various surveillance equipnt that looked very high-end, full of technological ambiance.

The Hunter Team would assemble here, and Fisk had co early to wait for these big shots in the industry.

Soon, the first Hunter arrived at the spot – a mature and steady-looking Black man with a bald head.

“It’s you, Robert!”

Robert nodded. He was not a man of many words. Facing Fisk’s enthusiasm, he squeezed out, “As the chairman, I need to lead by example.”

With Teresa’s presence, the entire Hunter Team would be able to access the governnt information database without obstacles, to investigate the fugitives’ public intelligence unimpeded – from social dia traces on the internet to dia reports, including searching residences, inspecting electronic devices, inquiring friends and relatives, monitoring phones, emails, and bank cards, to locating and copying data from CCTV and automatic license plate recognition systems from the central database.

With the help of modern technology, the team would be even more formidable!
