Bosen had been captured for three days, during which there had been no news.

Even when Bi Fang actively inquired about it, Gang Tianwu, who was always ingratiating, did not reveal any information. However, from the tone of their chat, it was evident that he seed very annoyed and hadn’t found the mastermind behind the incidents.

In response to Bi Fang’s initiative to chat, Gang Tianwu appeared even happier, pouring out a wealth of complaints and talking about his series of workplace experiences. He criticized his superiors for being incompetent, yet capable of throwing their weight around due to their seniority, claiming that this was why Japanese society remained stagnant and failed to develop.

To soone like Bi Fang, a Huaxia person, such workplace pressures in Japan were very hard to understand, and so on and so forth. Many tis,

The lines seed to treat Bi Fang as a friend, but Gang Tianwu’s professional ethics were exceptionally high, and even so, he did not reveal any news.

At the end of the conversation, he expressed how much he enjoyed talking to Bi Fang, saying Bi Fang was a friend worth confiding in and that he would invite him for a al next ti. After that, there was no more communication.

After hanging up the phone, Mugalen grew anxious and asked, "What’s the situation? What exactly is going on?"

This feeling of not knowing what was happening was unbearable.

Bi Fang shook his head, "I don’t know—he wouldn’t say, but it seems he hasn’t discovered what we’re doing. His attitude towards is still the sa."

"Alright,"

Having been captured for three days, the first thing Gang Tianwu had to face was how to explain it to the audience.

How to explain?

There was no explanation.

All suspicions were under investigation, including the issue of hunter traps.

They could only post an announcent saying Bosen was unwell and that the live stream would be temporarily suspended.

The audience naturally was not satisfied, without any prior indication. You say he’s unwell, but where is he himself? Why doesn’t he co out and explain?

So even suspected a conspiracy theory, doubting that the Japanese program tampered with sothing to make their own hunter look better in the rankings.

They wouldn’t dare to ddle with Bi Fang, a Huaxia person, because he carried too much weight, and any interference with him might lead to trouble.

But the second-place old man...

This theory actually gained considerable acceptance and recently seed to be intensifying, causing Gang Tianwu, who was also a team leader, to feel annoyed every ti he saw Chief Matsumoto.

When people can’t solve a problem, they often start blaming the person who posed the problem.

Morishita Suji had even issued an order that, within a week before the 23rd gathering, they must pry the guy’s mouth open.

Ginza, Tokyo’s busiest comrcial district, known as "the most expensive place in Asia," symbolizes Japan’s prosperity.

Every weekend, vehicular traffic here is prohibited, turning it into a pedestrian comrcial street crowded with people. Inside a certain Japanese-style restaurant on the street side,

"Damn it!"

The bottle of liquor slamd onto the table with a loud bang, startling the surrounding waitstaff.

Matsumoto Kiyotaka quickly apologized with a smile, pulling at Gang Tianwu to lower his voice: "Team leader Gang Tianwu, you’re drunk, don’t make such loud declarations here!"

Gang Tianwu’s face was slightly flushed, his voice suppressing anger. Fortunately, he was conscious enough to lower his volu, still discontent:

"This guy’s mouth is just too tough. Three whole days—no, an entire three days—and he hasn’t said a thing. He even claims that he doesn’t know about Dolphin Bay! Ridiculous!"

They had interrogated Bosen for a full three days. He knew nothing about everything; always asking for a lawyer.

He even claid he didn’t know about Dolphin Bay, unfamiliar with dolphin migration patterns, nor aware of the recent installation of caras.

Three denials.

Could that be believed?!!

"Does he think he can fool ? A seasoned veteran of twenty years...erm..."

Matsumoto Kiyotaka covered Gang Tianwu’s mouth, "Group Leader Gang, don’t talk anymore. What can we do? This guy has probably killed more people than we’ve ever seen, too ntally strong."

Matsumoto Kiyotaka felt like the person across from him was treating him like a fool, and it annoyed him to the extre.

"Has there been any movent from that group?"

"After being provoked that day, they have been very well-behaved these past few days, hardly even leaving their rooms." Matsumoto Kiyotaka knew who Gang Tianwu was asking about; it was none other than Richard and his people.

"They really are in contact!!!"

Gang Tianwu was energetically assured. If there wasn’t a secret connection, why would Richard and the others suddenly settle down a lot right after Bosen was captured?

It was nothing but the disappearance of their outside support.

"Yes, yes, Group Leader Gang is truly insightful, with brilliant strategies," Matsumoto Kiyotaka showered him with complints, as he could feel Gang Tianwu’s dislike for him and tried his best to please.

After all, he was a "Capital Official."

"Hmph!" Gang Tianwu snorted out a breath of alcohol, feeling a little proud; even his ill feelings towards Matsumoto had sowhat dissipated. He patted Matsumoto Kiyotaka on the shoulder, "Chief Matsumoto, watch closely. This ti, we’re not facing ordinary criminals, but a gang, a vicious and ruthless gang."

"Ah right, right, right." Matsumoto Kiyotaka nodded eagerly.

"Hahaha!"

The mory of the internet always fades quickly. Three days ago, the disappearance of Bosen left the audience unsatisfied, with a great impact.

But by the fourth day, the trend started to slow down, and by the fifth day, it faded gradually just like colors washing out.

A week later, even if Gang Tianwu had not managed to pry anything open, he still sighed in relief.

August 10th.

Less than two weeks remained before the annual eting of the Whaling Commission was convened.

Étienne opened WhatsApp on his phone, feeling a bit clumsy with it as a Frenchman, he usually used FB ssenger.

After about ten days and paying an extortionate fee for the aquarium admission, under Bi Fang’s guidance, Étienne had finally recruited a significant number of followers... cough, cough... friends.

The cost: emptying his entire year’s allowance.

But for the noble cause of saving dolphins, it was all worth it!

Among these friends were many Frenchn, but also a good number from other parts of Europe; to cater to them, Étienne had to give up FBM and switch to WA.

Initially, he just thought so of his Goose fans were a bit radical, and so constantly contacted him privately, trying to pull him into so embracing organization, to beco a formidable pair with so girl, and fiercely advocate for environntalism together.

Fortunately, Étienne had so brains; he could never agree to such a thing, that would make him a fool.

Imagine for a mont.

"How dare you!"

On so podium, Étienne, in a suit and tie, holding a microphone, shouting that phrase to the crowd below.

The image was too beautiful; he dared not envision it.

Opening the patchwork group chat he had assembled, Étienne recalled the words Bi Fang cautioned him with the night before. After pondering for a mont, he wrote an email to each group mber.

"Dear friends, my friend, yes, the famous Adventurer, is currently in Japan participating in the hunting season. Unfortunately, he has stumbled upon a secret in Taiji Town..."

He wrote nearly two pages of content, and after confirming everything was correct, Étienne clicked send to the whole group.

"Phew, now it’s ti to wait and see it fernt."

Bi Fang, who received Étienne’s ssage, nodded, then thought about his own social contacts.

"I wonder if I can get the airlines to give a discount on the tickets?"
