Chapter 559: Chapter 51: A Familiar Stranger

After leaving the central cafeteria, Yun Sheng and Donghuang Lingling were in high spirits, excitedly discussing the miserable state of Chen Lianlian and the others just now.

"Yun Sheng, you are so amazing, tell

quickly, what is an allergy? Also, will those won’s faces really be okay after drinking the spoiled water?" Chen Lianlian had always been mischievous in Eastern Capital, frequently causing trouble for the maids and eunuchs in the palace.

But even she admitted that her tricks fell several streets short of Yun Sheng’s.

"It’s really nothing. It wasn’t any poison, just a mix of two dicinal herbs that caused an adverse reaction," Yun Sheng spread her hands, already knowing that Chen Lianlian would oppose her.

Chen Lianlian had clearly intended to snatch their food just now, so Yun Sheng pretended to walk to a stall and, while Chen Lianlian wasn’t paying attention, sprinkled so herbal powder on it, which together with a few other herbs, could cause so adverse reactions.

As for that spoiled water, it was just a ans for Yun Sheng to prank people.

After suffering from diarrhea for three days and getting rid of the herbs, the allergic reaction would subside, and things would naturally return to normal.

"Yun Sheng, do you feel proud of yourself for teaching Xi Yao and her disciples a lesson with the thod you used just now? Resorting to lowly ans such as poison is unbecoming of a mage. You should use your honorable magic to compete with her," the Dark Gold Master said sternly.

"Heh heh, Dark Gold, you’re still the stickler for propriety, what is considered a lowly ans. In my opinion, your female disciple has great potential and a promising future ahead," ca a chilling voice from behind Yun Sheng.

Yun Sheng felt a cold chill at the back of her head and whoosh, a figure appeared in front of her.

Before her was a middle-aged mage with a sallow complexion and a triangular face.

"Snakes!" Donghuang Lingling shouted.

At the place where the three were standing, many small snakes had crawled out without notice.

The snakes were colorful and each one was only the size of a thumb, flicking their tongues.

The Dark Gold Master furrowed her brows, the Magic Wand in her hand sparkled with magic light, "Darkness Devour."

The ground imdiately turned into a layer of frost, and with the sound of ice cracking, a black hole unexpectedly ford, swallowing all the venomous snakes that were flicking their tongues just a mont ago.

"Dark Gold, you old hag! Give

back my snakes," the triangular-faced mage howled upon seeing this.

His body was bizarre, boneless as he sprawled on the ground, with a pair of eyes shining a deep green, casting a glare at Dark Gold as if wanting to bite her neck off.

"Tutor, we’re not here to fight," said the young man’s voice, sounding very helpless. Not far away stood a young man in green.

The young man massaged his temple, feeling a headache; his appearance was like a breath of fresh air to everyone.

He was an exceptionally handso young man; looking at him from afar, he resembled a clump of green bamboo, emitting a comfortably soothing aura.

Unlike Li Shao with his royal deanor, or Ye Beiming with his beauty that resembled the night, his presence was nonetheless outstanding.

"Ah yes, I almost forgot," the triangular-faced mage instantly changed his expression. He circled around to Yun Sheng’s side, looked her up and down, and almost hung himself all over Yun Sheng.

The young man in green couldn’t stand it anymore, and ca over to pull his tutor away.

Instead, the tutor simply switched to clinging onto his own trainee, but his eyes kept darting back and forth between Yun Sheng and the young man in green.

"Snake Brilliance, what’s the aning of this? Believe it or not, I’ll deal with you and your snakes all at once," the Dark Gold Master, in comparison to Xi Yao, was more wary of this mage nad Snake Brilliance.

The Dark Gold Master stepped forward a few paces, shielding her female trainee from the other’s covetous gaze, as if a few extra glances would cause Yun Sheng to lose a piece of flesh.

"Tsk tsk, Dark Gold, look at the bullshit you spoke just now? Who said that using poison isn’t skillful? Say that again, believe it or not, I could poison you to death in a matter of seconds!" After saying so, Snake Brilliance scattered a puff of poison gas.

"Keep your damned trick for yourself," the Dark Gold Master retorted, unyielding as a strange wind blew past, scattering the poison mist to one side.

Once the poison mist reached the leaves nearby, in the blink of an eye, they were reduced to black ash, more swiftly than if consud by blazing fire.

Such a potent poison, if it were to co into contact with flesh, I’m afraid it would only take a few breaths for the flesh to rot down to the bone.

But Dark Gold was not one to be bullied easily. The two didn’t see eye to eye; one claid poison to be the finest magic, while the other dismissed it as second-rate. A single disagreent sparked a fight between them.

Two ntors, one using poison and the other magic, neither willing to back down.

The spectacle nearly made the jaws of several trainees watching from the side drop.

"Hehe, Dark Gold, I’m not here for you today; I’m here for her." Snake Brilliance, failing to gain an advantage over Dark Gold, winked pleasantly at Yun Sheng, "You must be Yun Sheng. Our little Poison Boy often talks about you."

Poison Boy?

Yun Sheng looked utterly baffled, then glanced at the green-clad youth who was also intently staring back at her.

Yun Sheng and Donghuang Lingling had greatly enjoyed watching the fierce duel between Snake Brilliance and Dark Gold Master.

Only the green-clad youth stood out; his handso eyes locked onto Yun Sheng from the mont he saw her, unwavering.

Seeing Yun Sheng approach and fix her gaze on him, the green-clad youth’s face blushed as red as a ripe persimmon in winter.

Embarrassedly, he turned his face aside: "Yun Sheng, I am... Qi."

No sooner had he spoken than a small snake wriggled out from beneath the sleeve of his voluminous magic robe.

The snake was only thumb-sized, its body a lustrous erald green, like half of a jade sculpture.

On its triangular head, a pair of snake eyes glead like onyxes, amicably flicking its tongue at Yun Sheng.

Seeing the snake, then looking back at Qi’s new appearance.

"Ah!" Yun Sheng started, pointing at the green-clad youth, and after much effort, managed to stamr out, "You really are Qi!"

The ethereal youth before her, resembling an otherworldly bamboo, was actually the sa ugly-faced, forever silent Poison Boy Qi.

The difference between his past and present appearances was just too stark.

"Haha, our little Poison Boy surprised you with his unbeatable handso looks and impressive presence, didn’t he? Wahahaha, indeed, this boy is my first disciple, Snake Brilliance, both handso and cool. He’s the secret crush of loads of girls at the camp," laughed Snake Brilliance cheerfully.

Qi, not wanting Yun Sheng to misunderstand, sent a cold warning glance his way.

The otherwise unruly Snake Brilliance Tutor imdiately fell silent.

It was also with this look that Yun Sheng vaguely recognized the silhouette of the Qi from years past.

I’ve seen trainees afraid of ntors, but never a ntor afraid of his trainee.

Dark Gold Master, naturally at odds with Snake Brilliance, witnessed this scene and was endlessly amazed.

Dark Gold Master’s curiosity about Yun Sheng’s background grew even more enigmatic.

Though just a newcor, she had seemingly t all of the Mainland Magic Elite Camp’s prominent trainees of recent years. Yun Sheng was indeed not to be underestimated.
