Chapter 55: Chapter 54 Revolutionary Friendship

Thinking of using them as a shield? Dream on!

Yun Sheng flicked her hand, thrusting several Bone Needles backwards without a glance, almost simultaneously, she began chanting the Fireball Technique.

Huang Lingling only saw her lips moving rapidly, chanting twice as fast as when she herself used magic.

She was secretly amazed at how quickly Yun Sheng could chant magic.

The Bone Needles had already t the bald Hunter Soldier.

The Hunter Soldier, taking no notice of the Bone Needles, waved his big palm, and his fighting spirit instantly blocked the Bone Needles in front of him.

At that mont, a fireball flew out, hitting the bald Hunter Soldier squarely in the face.

The latter scread in agony, clutching his face.

Just then, the Fire Lion Bull had caught up from behind, its hoof stamped onto the Hunter Soldier’s chest, making a grueso sound of breaking bones. Soon, the Hunter Soldier was trampled into a mush.

"Go," Yun Sheng saw the ferocious montum of the Fire Lion Bull, grabbed Huang Lingling, and was ready to run.

Huang Lingling turned deathly pale and found herself unable to move a step.

As the Fire Lion Bull closed in, Huang Lingling suddenly raised her Magic Wand, aiming it at Yun Sheng.

A green light flickered, landing on Yun Sheng, making her feel suddenly lighter.

Light Body Skill!

Huang Lingling, in a life or death mont, used her precious Wind Magic Power on Yun Sheng.

"You go, it’s my fault for dragging you into this, run fast!"

Huang Lingling knew she was injured and understood that Yun Sheng’s chances of survival were even slimr if she had to carry her.

The trouble today was her own doing; if it wasn’t for her greedy wish for the soul stone of the Mutated Demon Beast, they wouldn’t have been tricked by these Bounty Hunters, nor would they have encountered the Fire Lion Bull.

"Moo---"

At the critical mont between life and death for the two girls, the Fire Lion Bull roared and its massive body hurdled over their heads, blocking their path.

Both of them could not escape.

The Fire Lion Bull, being a Fierce Beast, had just killed four Hunter Soldiers and was full of hostility, its large bell-like eyes brimming with murderous intent.

Compared to its fortress-like body, Yun Sheng and Huang Lingling seed too frail to withstand a hit.

Strangely though, after blocking their path, the Fire Lion Bull didn’t imdiately charge or launch a more fierce Combat Skill attack. Its gaze wandered over Yun Sheng and Huang Lingling, eventually settling on Huang Lingling’s rapidly healing shoulder wound.

On Huang Lingling’s shoulder, the wound caused by an arrow and treated with the Hemostatic Agent by Yun Sheng, had quickly stopped bleeding and started to scab.

The Fire Lion Bull, being a Wanted Magical Beast, was much wilier than ordinary Demon Beasts.

It had been suffering from a poisoned wound for several days, unable to heal itself, enduring the agony day and night.

The Fire Lion Bull had seen all of Yun Sheng’s movents as she advanced to treat Huang Lingling, pulling out the arrow and stopping the bleeding.

Naturally, it assud Yun Sheng knew how to treat wounds.

Seeing that the Fire Lion Bull hadn’t yet attacked, both Yun Sheng and Huang Lingling, despite their palpitations, gradually cald down.

Suddenly, the Fire Lion Bull raised its hoof and waved it towards Yun Sheng.

"Letting

pass?"

Yun Sheng, being a Summoner with a Beast Language Ring, was particularly sensitive to the emotional fluctuations of magical beasts. She exchanged a glance with Huang Lingling, and the Fire Lion Bull gestured towards its belly and then at Huang Lingling.

Both girls were quick-witted, and it was clear at this point.

It turned out the Fire Lion Bull wanted Yun Sheng to treat its poison wound.

Yun Sheng pondered for a mont and walked towards the Fire Lion Bull.

"You’re crazy, treating it, that, that’s a Wanted Magical Beast!" Huang Lingling was terrified.

"If we don’t treat it, we’ll all die anyway, we might as well give it a try," Yun Sheng soothed, truly thinking whether she was willing to treat a Wanted Magical Beast. If untreated, they would certainly end up like those Bounty Hunters, trampled into minceat, without a chance of leaving Yuewu Mountain alive.

Yun Sheng approached the Fire Lion Bull, which looked on warily.

Slowly crouching down, the mont Yun Sheng crouched, a hoof of the Fire Lion Bull was already stepping on her back.

It goes without saying, if she exhibited any suspicious behavior, the hoof of the Fire Lion Bull, capable of shattering the ribs of a Great Martial Master, would unhesitatingly co crashing down.

Yun Sheng certainly did not want to beco a pancake.

The pressure on Yun Sheng was enormous; she adjusted her breathing, telling herself to stay calm.

Once she saw the wound on the Fire Lion Bull, Yun Sheng’s attention was highly focused.

Such a potent poison, Yun Sheng sniffed around the rotting flesh near the Fire Lion Bull’s wound, identifying the toxic nature; it was a corrosive neurotoxic poison.

A small amount was enough to kill a mature cow.

Luckily, the Fire Lion Bull was a Demon Beast with a robust constitution, which had suppressed the toxicity for so long.

Yun Sheng took out a Bone Needle, and just administered an injection.

"Thud--" her shoulder took a heavy hoof.

Huang Lingling by her side scread.

Yun Sheng’s whole body sank to the ground, her face pressing hard into the dirt.

"Damn your ancestors," Yun Sheng felt as if her ribs had been crushed. The Shennong dical Bracelet in her hands rapidly repaired her crushed shoulder bones, barely keeping her from passing out.

After hearing Yun Sheng’s roar, the Fire Lion Bull seed to realize that Yun Sheng bore no ill will; after the injection, the pain that had troubled it for many days seed to have eased a lot.

It withdrew its hoof, but those bovine eyes still stared intently at every move Yun Sheng made.

Yun Sheng, enduring the pain, took out the scalpel.

Unfortunately, she had almost used up the Mandela Juice she had extracted; the earlier injection was not enough to completely anaesthetize the Fire Lion Bull.

Following the earlier Bone Needle, the Fire Lion Bull beca slightly more accepting of Yun Sheng’s "strange and peculiar" variety of dical equipnt.

Yun Sheng then removed several pieces of rotten poisoned flesh from around the injury.

The Fire Lion Bull gradually relaxed its vigilance.

Huang Lingling also took in the environnt, noting that the Ancient dical Skill used by Yun Sheng was very special, different from the Doctors she had seen before.

Just as she was wondering, this dical skill of Yun Sheng’s, she suddenly saw Yun Sheng wink at her.

Huang Lingling felt stirred, and quietly raised her Magic Wand.

"Little Black!"

Yun Sheng suddenly shouted. Her scalpel, previously used to remove poisoned flesh, was now aid at the heart of the Fire Lion Bull and fiercely thrust it in, the handle completely burying itself inside the body of the Fire Lion Bull.

Almost simultaneously, Little Black howled to the sky, and everything around them suddenly darkened.

The Fire Lion Bull roared in pain, surrounded by darkness, seeing nothing, running around frantically, trying to find the two cunning girls.

In the darkness, nurous Fireballs and Thunderbolts burst out like a fierce storm.

Blood gushed out like a fountain, the sll of burnt flesh perating the forest.

In the darkness, Huang Lingling trembled, silently praying in her heart, it must be okay, Yun Sheng, you must be okay.

Only when calm was restored around them and the sky gradually brightened did Huang Lingling dare to open her eyes in fear.

Not far away, the mischievous Fire Lion Bull had bled to death.

Yun Sheng leaned against a nearby tree, her face deathly pale, reflecting on the extrely perilous mont just now, still sowhat frightened by the thought.

Huang Lingling stood up shakily, walked over to Yun Sheng, and suddenly hugged her, bursting into loud tears.
