Chapter 2: Chapter 1: The Transworld Little Loli
The mont the taxi exploded, Yun Sheng did not lose consciousness. She only felt her body being torn apart instantly, her consciousness floated out lightly like a leaf, then it plumtly fell to the ground, as if her body had been crushed, the pain was imnse.
There were brazen laughter all around: "Crush this spawn to death, Yun Canghai, no matter how rare a talent of a mage you are in a hundred years, you can't save your wife and children,"
Dozens of black-clothed, masked n laughed wildly.
The instant her body hit the ground, the pain was severe, Yun Sheng realized she had beco a baby, and a baby that had been thrown to death?!
This is what they often call transmigration in novels!
The baby had just been born, was violently thrown onto the ground, and imdiately stopped breathing.
It was at that mont that Yun Sheng's soul took the opportunity to enter the baby's body.
The infant's body, fragile and breaking, if not treated, even if she survived, would be nothing but a cripple.
Yun Sheng noticed that the baby was wearing a bracelet identical to the one she had in the modern world. She had transmigrated with her family heirloom jade bracelet!
Luckily she had the jade bracelet, Yun Sheng's divine sense moved, a faint glow emitted from the bracelet, entering the baby's body.
The residual divine power in the bracelet rapidly repaired the baby's cardiac ridian.
The dozens of black-clothed n paid no attention to the changes happening to the infant.
"Release my child," an enraged man descended from the sky, wielding a bizarre bone staff in his hand,
Yun Sheng had never seen such a bone staff; on the scepter, five cat's-eye-sized jades glimred like bleeding red agate.
In a split second, the dim sky turned a fiery red, like a massive steel furnace, countless flas bubbling like boiling molten iron.
The man waved the bone staff, fire was everywhere, countless fireballs fell like torrential rain.
The world turned into Netherworld Prison Sea, with fiery flas raging.
The tumbling fireballs hit the assailants, and dozens of people instantly turned into burning corpses.
The fire was extrely fierce; the black-clothed, masked n didn't even have the chance to cry out for rcy before being reduced to a pile of charred earth.
The man with the bone staff knelt painfully on the ground, emitting a mournful cry like a trapped beast, his eyes hollow. He raised the bone staff high and aid it at the top of his skull, striking down with force.
His wife and daughter had both died, what aning was there for him to live.
A faint breath interrupted the man's action.
He stiffly turned around and tremblingly picked up the dying child.
Yun Sheng widened her eyes, in her black pupils, reflected the appearance of the man.
He was a young man who had just beco a father not long ago.
He should have been joyful, but the man in front of her had disheveled hair, his face covered with wounds, yet even so, it couldn't conceal the man's once dignified features and sharpness.
The man must have experienced great hardship, in his dim eyes remained only despair and sorrow, like a patient with a terminal illness, that sorrow deeply pierced Yun Sheng, who was a doctor.
He had lost the desire to live.
She, wanted to save him, to help him find the will to live again.
Yun Sheng waved her hand, using the last bit of her strength, and cried out.
"Waah---"
Hearing that cry, a hint of surprise flashed through the man's ashen eyes, his gaze gradually brightened, and holding the infant, he staggered towards a small village ahead.
Behind the man, the pitch-dark dawn quietly ended, and the rising sun illuminated the entire land.
Ti flew by, six years passed, when the fiery red Blood Stopping Flowers blood all over the dicine Field of Banana Leaf Village, a Magic Enlightennt ceremony was being held in the Magic Temple of the village.
"Magic Elents sensing power, none," the white-haired magician glanced at the pitch-black Magic Testing Crystal and shook his head.
This was already the third ti, Yun Sheng had been participating in the Magic Enlightennt of Banana Leaf Village since she was three years old, never once had she felt the Magic Elents.
"Thank you, Grandpa Magician, next year, I will try again," Yun Sheng lifted her head, she was only five or six years old, with an oval face, big eyes, and although her clothes were worn, they were clean. Due to poverty and lack of nutrition, she was thinner and shorter than her peers.
Upon learning the result of the Magic Enlightennt, Yun Sheng's youthful face showed an indifference wholly mismatched with her age.
"Shaless creature, the daughter of a fraudulent mage dares to co to the Magic Temple, aren't you afraid of the punishnt from the Magic God."
As she left the Magic Temple, one of the children who had also co to participate in the Magic Enlightennt spat at her.
Yun Sheng nimbly dodged it.
Her gaze was icy-cold, just like a defiant little wildcat, glaring at the child who caused the trouble.
Yun Sheng's eyes seed to possess a magic power; as she stared, the spitting child was consud by her enchanting gaze, pitch-black as the bottomless starry sky, as though it could completely engulf one's consciousness.
The child suddenly felt a buzzing in his head and his legs went weak, falling to the ground with his backside down, fainting.
The child's abnormal condition alard the surrounding villagers who imdiately gathered around.
Yun Sheng withdrew her gaze and took the opportunity to slip away from the Magic Temple.
She followed a path which led to the highest hill in the village.
The scenery of Banana Leaf Village was beautiful, with the bright spring sun and the gentle breeze that ruffled the foxtail grass on the hillside. A few red-tailed dragonflies perched on the pointed tips of the grass, and below the hill, a creek flowed like a ribbon of jade.
Yun Sheng lay down, a blade of foxtail grass in her mouth, gazing at the azure sky.
She, Yan Yunsheng, a modern-souled female doctor, had transmigrated to the Wuji Continent where magic and martial arts were revered, and six years had passed since then.
From an orphan to a village girl living in the mountains with her drunkard father, her na remained the sa, except for the surna, but the aptitude was worlds apart.
The catastrophe at birth caused Yun Sheng's ridians to be fragile from a young age, preventing her from practicing martial arts, unable to sense Magic Elents, and unable to practice magic.
From a woman who struck fear in both the underworld and law enforcent to a useless person unable to practice both magic and martial arts?
Yun Sheng sat up, a confident smile appearing at the corner of her mouth.
Useless, ridiculous!
She would never be useless. As long as she had the Shennong dical Bracelet, one day, she would stand once again at the zenith of the continent.
Yun Sheng touched the Jade Bracelet on her wrist, a relic that had transmigrated with her. It had been on her since birth, the last thing she possessed that connected to her past life.
Yun Sheng's alcoholic father was also puzzled for a while and, after several unsuccessful attempts to remove it, the bracelet escaped the fate of being pawned for alcohol.
Noon, twelve o'clock, when the Yang energy between heaven and earth was at its fullest.
Yun Sheng sat cross-legged, fingers forming seals, assuming a standard Taoist sitting ditation posture.
The Jade Bracelet emitted a lustrous glow as the sunlight seed to separate, and large amounts of colorful light specks were absorbed into the bracelet.
As the bracelet absorbed more and more light, Yun Sheng's body surface glead with an iridescence like that of mother-of-pearl. In the light, her features beca more delicate and her figure stretched out like a willow.
A fine sweat appeared on her forehead.
In the tender marrows damaged in the early years, the streams of energy inside surged, growing richer.
The streams grew and converged, forming a golden ridian.
A thunderous "boom" resounded, and the Inner Strength she had cultivated for six years burst forth like floodwaters from a dam.
One of the body's Eight Extraordinary ridians, the Yangwei ridian, was breached.
Every three years a threshold, and after starting the Marrow Jade Technique at the age of three, she finally managed to break through the first of the ridians with her Inner Strength.
Yun Sheng was imrsed in her cultivation, unaware that at this mont, in an ancient banyan tree full of dense leaves on the sa hill, a pair of profound eyes "saw" everything.
The young boy lay on the tree trunk in a carefree manner, clearly out of place compared to the simple atmosphere of Banana Leaf Village.
The boy was not very old, around ten, and though dressed in plain coarse cloth, his wheat-colored skin and sturdy body emitted an aura not inferior to that of a seasoned warrior from the battlefield.
"Absorbing Sun Essence? Interesting, I didn't expect to find soone practicing such a sophisticated technique in such a small village," the boy observed with interest.
Suddenly, Yun Sheng opened her eyes.
