Chapter 106: Chapter 41 The Fierce Light Axis Mage
After receiving two Interdiate Magic Light Axes from Master i Li, Yun Sheng returned to the dormitory, where Gu Feng and Qi had already gone to sleep.
The room was pitch-dark, and Yun Sheng activated Cloud Dream Ice Sleep, emitting a faint blue glow around her as she entered a deep ditation state.
In the deep ditation state, she could recover her physical condition in just one hour, without needing any additional sleep.
Since she had promised Master i Li, she would make full use of the two Magic Light Axes. In the upcoming ti, Yun Sheng must intensify her practice while taking care of the Public Herb Field, defending the honor of Magic Potion Group Thirteen at the end of the annual magic exam.
An hour later, Yun Sheng’s eyes sparkled as she quietly left the Public Student Dormitory and rushed toward the Magic Tower under the starlight.
The mont Yun Sheng left, Qi Ye lying in the bunk below also got up.
A flicker of movent passed through his green eyes. With a rustle of his clothing, he too followed Yun Sheng out of the dormitory.
The night was as dark as ink, with not a speck of starlight, as Yun Sheng arrived once again at the Magic Tower.
The old wizard in charge of the tower did not seem surprised that soone was coming at this hour. He monotonously read Yun Sheng’s Magic Card, asking her how long she planned to practice.
"Four hours. May I continue to choose the No. 204 Magic Space?" With the 24-hour Interdiate Magic Card from Tai Lang, Yun Sheng now had a bit more leeway with her practice ti, but four hours were indeed a large commitnt.
Yun Sheng silently reckoned in her heart; four hours until dawn. Considering the bonus from her Magic Soul, she could stay in the Magic Tower for an equivalent of twenty hours, nearly two days’ ti. She hoped that this extravagant practice session would allow her to learn at least one of the two Interdiate Magics.
When she received the Interdiate Magic Light Axes, Yun Sheng had already considered that with her current magic cultivation, it would be difficult to learn Interdiate Magic.
But if she entered the Magic Tower, with the abundant Magic Elents inside, perhaps she would be able to comprehend them faster.
"Here is the Magic Crystal Key for No. 204 Magic Space. As usual, when the ti is up, crush the key and return the sa way," said the old wizard as he handed over the key to Yun Sheng, then closed his eyes and dozed off.
There weren’t many people in the Magic Tower at night. Yun Sheng opened up the Magic Space, and as soon as she entered, she felt a surge of intense magic waves.
"Bo Bo, dear master," Bobbie materialized among the colorful Magic Elents.
It had grown larger since the last ti; now it was the size of a duck egg (originally, Bobbie was the size of a chicken egg).
"Bobo, have you been running around?" Yun Sheng breathed a sigh of relief. She had been worried sick about leaving Bobbie in the Magic Tower, fearing it might cause trouble.
"Bobo is a good egg," Bobbie replied with an innocent face.
"Rember, you can’t run around when I’m not here," Yun Sheng warned Bobbie.
Seeing the Magic Elents so abundant within the Magic Tower, Yun Sheng thought to herself that next ti, she would find a way to bring Little Black inside as well.
Yun Sheng took out the Light Axis that contained the Interdiate Magic Fire Net, and opened it.
After a burst of fluctuating waves, an ethereal voice sounded, as if piercing directly into Yun Sheng’s Magic Soul.
"Fire Net, Central Fire Magic, a ranged attack Magic. The user must be proficient in handling Fire Magic Elents."
In front of Yun Sheng, an image of a Real-life Mage wearing a Magic Robe appeared. His face was blurred, but his Scepter, flickering with three red Demon Beast Soul Stones, showed that he was a Magic Master.
Magic Chanting, releasing Magic Elents, which intertwine like countless fuses of fire, forming a Fire Net.
The Real-life Mage kept casting Central Fire Magic repeatedly; his chanting was powerful and clear, as if it were branded into Yun Sheng’s mind.
Although it was just a magic image ford by the Magic Light Axis, the magic effect released was incredibly real.
The flas of the Fire Net scorched Yun Sheng’s skin and hair, forcing her to release Water Magic Elents in order to withstand the fierce heat wave that resembled a fire disaster scene.
Suppressing the shock in her heart, Yun Sheng’s pupils contracted as she focused on observing the Mage’s movents—every chant, every detailed action, every thread of control over the Magic Elents.
The chanting required for Interdiate Magic is much more complex than that of Basic Magic, and even Yun Sheng only dared to try practicing Interdiate Magic after three complete observations.
However, when Yun Sheng chanted stamringly to the end, she found that most of her Magic Elents were depleted. To cast an Interdiate Magic, even the Magic Chanting requires the consumption of Magic Elents?
In the instant when the Magic Elents inside her body were completely depleted, Yun Sheng finally released a palm-sized Fire Net.
Just as she was heaving a sigh of relief, the Mage in the Magic Light Axis raised his Magic Wand, and unexpectedly, a Fireball smashed towards her.
"Damn," Yun Sheng was already exhausted and didn’t have ti to dodge, getting hit squarely by the Fireball.
With the sll of sothing burning all over her body, Yun Sheng finally ran out of Qi Power; her limbs felt as heavy as if they were filled with lead, and she fell heavily to the ground, panting heavily.
The Mage inside the Magic Light Axis even launched an attack on her—how could he be so twisted!
Yun Sheng had no idea that the notoriously stingy Master i Li from the academy, the giver of the item, had given sothing not everyone could endure.
From the Shennong dical Bracelet on her wrist, a cool flow of the Marrow Jade Technique’s power swiftly coursed, repairing Yun Sheng’s burnt skin and regrowing fresh, tender skin beneath the charred peels.
After regaining her strength, Yun Sheng stood up again and kept chanting with the Magic Wand in her hand, over and over, until her sweat was baked dry.
The expansive Fire Net Magic Light Axis in front of her was like a towering mountain, and she was determined to climb over it.
Bang--
Several flas that shuttled like Spiritual Snakes connected together, and in the Magic Space, it was as if a pair of invisible hands were weaving a brilliant Fire Net.
This ti, that twisted Light Axis Mage did not release a Fireball.
The figure of the Mage was absorbed into the Light Axis, and the Light Axis fell to the ground.
With her knees going weak, Yun Sheng knew at that mont that she didn’t even feel like lifting her eyelids.
Practicing higher-level magic not only demands greater control of Magic Elents but also poses a significant challenge to one’s physical and ntal strength.
Yun Sheng, who was physically and ntally exhausted, entered into the state of Cloud Dream Ice Sleep unconsciously, and her Magic Soul crazily absorbed the dispersed Magic Elents around her.
While Yun Sheng was wholly focused on practicing Interdiate Magic, she completely failed to notice the Bobbie egg that had been observing her now sneakily hiding in the corner, fluttering its restless wings.
