It’s All Over! (1)

When Jiang Xiui ca out angrily carrying a kitchen knife, Hong Xingguo was like a fish on a cutting board. Jiang Xing pressed Hong Xingguo down, allowing Jiang Xiui to do whatever she wanted.

Hong Xingguo struggled, but Jiang Xing pressed him down with both hands.

Light glinted off the kitchen knife, which slled like celery, in Jiang Xiui’s hand.

“Let go—” Jiang Xing covered Hong Xingguo’s mouth before he could finish his sentence, not allowing any sound to co out.

Jiang Xiui looked at him coldly for a long ti, then waved the kitchen knife in her hand and coldly said, “I already told you our relationship is over. I don’t want anything to do with you anymore. You’ve already seen what our life in the city is like. You don’t need to co here looking to take advantage of us anymore.”

After saying that, Hong Xingguo shafully slumped down like a deflated balloon.

What was the point if he could not get any benefit from them? There was no hope.

Jiang Xiui continued, “You wouldn’t help when you saw my daughter dying. I’m generous by not finishing you off with this knife right now. Since you have no sha, I won’t be polite with you anymore!”

“Mmm!!” Hong Xingguo desperately struggled to speak.

Jiang Xing hesitated for a while, then turned around and asked his mother. “Mom, it seems that he has sothing to say.”

“Let him speak.”

Hong Xingguo could finally get a breath of fresh air again.

He glared at Jiang Xiui and sneered, “I didn’t believe it when our parents said you were an ungrateful child. I never expected you to be so cruel! Let’s not even talk about how you changed your surna as soon as you got married.1 Our parents have only been dead for a few years, and you no longer acknowledge . You have a logistics company now. Isn’t giving us a few thousand yuans fine? Every family in the village helps each other. But you bastards don’t even acknowledge your poor relatives after growing up! We are still brother and sister!”

“You—” Jiang Xiui’s eyes bulged, but before she had ti to speak, Hong Xingguo already said, “Of course, the Heavens have eyes! Your life is not getting better now, right? I think, sooner or later, you will be finished! And you’re still taking care of that wild child you picked up outside! If it weren’t for her, Jiang Yue might not have gotten sick!”

“Hold him down for !” Jiang Xiui was furious.

But Hong Xingguo was prepared this ti and was not so easily held down. He slid away like an eel. Jiang Xing could not hold him down.

“Xiaoman is not a wild child. Watch your mouth!”

“Is she not a wild child? Who even knows where she even ca from? If you weren’t hiding sothing, why aren’t you forthright? Would we have been secretly laughed at by the neighbors if it weren’t for her? Even if she wasn’t a kid you picked up on the streets, she would be your daughter’s illegitimate daughter.”

The ntion of Jiang Yue deeply pained Jiang Xiui. Hong Xingguo went too far with his words, and Jiang Xiui’s eyes had turned red; she no longer cared about anything. She charged at him and pumled Hong Xingguo.

Pa! She hit him using all of her strength.

“You—” Hong Xingguo was furious and opened his mouth to speak, but when he saw her scarlet-red eyes, he beca so scared he did not dare say anything.

This old lady was so powerful! Hong Xingguo felt as if his teeth was going to fall out.

“Ptui!” His mouth filled with the taste of iron, and he spat out a mouthful of blood.

Hong Xingguo cursed, “You damned wench! How dare you refuse to admit to your sins?!”

“I dare!” Jiang Xiui went berserk and gripped his collar. “What do I not dare to do? Xiaoman was picked up? Xiaoman is not our family’s child? So what?! Not only do I treat her better than you, but I also treat my pigs better than you! Pigs can still be eaten after I raise them. Will you wag your tail when I’m good to you?”
