Shock was an understatent to describe what Lin irong was feeling right now. She now understood the difference between her and Li Xiuying. What Li Xiuying said made sense to her but she refused to admit defeat in front of this woman.
Didn't people say that Li Xiuying was a soft-spoken and kind-hearted woman? But the Li Xiuying she just t wasn't anything like that at all. She was cold, arrogant, and the perfect aristocratic woman that could make her feel insignificant in her presence.

Lin irong watched in a daze as Li Xiuying stood up and left her alone at the cafe. She only realized how dangerous this woman was when all had been said and done.

"Hi, Ying! Sorry for calling you this late. There was an ergency at work and I needed to do overti. How's your day?" Li Chuntao asked as she pulled off her coat and boots at the doorway of her ho, soon to be shared with her twin sister.
Her apartnt here was larger than the penthouse she and Ying owned at the capital. It was a huge apartnt that was too big for just one person. She supposed that sharing it with her twin sister and the baby would make this dull place a little brighter once they arrived.
Her house was empty and too quiet for her liking.
"Long. So tiring." Li Xiuying complained which only earned a laugh from her sister but the laughter imdiately ceased when she heard Ying's next words, "Also didn't help that I t that slut in the hospital."
"Lin irong?"
"Who else, Chuntao? Urgh, I don't even wanna hear her na or see her ugly face. It's making feel nauseous." Li Xiuying groaned and rolled on her side. Now that her bump was starting to show, she avoided laying on her stomach which had beco her habit since they were young.
Li Xiyuing then narrated her encounter with Lin irong to her sister. eting that woman made her mood turn sour and she'd lost her appetite. She couldn't even eat the dishes Song Zexi made for her.
She heard her twin sister sigh at the other end of the line. Li Xiuying knew her sister disapproved of what she did today.
"Ying, you shouldn't have told her that you know her secret." Li Chuntao told her.
"I know, I shouldn't but I just couldn't take how arrogant she was in front of . She even went as far as mocking by having a barren womb! How ridiculous! She would be vomiting with blood right now if she found out about my baby."
"No. You mustn't let Lin irong and Mu Jianyu know about your baby. Please spare the baby from this ss. I'm afraid that they'll use your baby to hurt you further than you already are." Li Chuntao insisted. "...but I have to say I'm shocked that she called you barren when clearly you are not."
"Okay. I'll listen to you, Chuntao," Li Xiuying easily agreed to her twin sister, sensing that she was displeased by what she did earlier but could she really bla her? That arrogant smirk on Lin irong's face got her blood boiling with anger.
"Instead of wasting ti being angry at that woman. You should focus your attention to your baby instead. It's bad for your baby and your health if you are stressed over such a person who doesn't value your ti and energy. Give your phone to Song Zexi and I'll talk to her about your al plan."
She just claid it was just for Ying's al plan when in fact she wanted to hear Song Zexi's daily reports and things that Ying had forgotten to tell her.
"Okay. I think I need a nap for the anti, I'm really tired."
Li Xiuying begrudgingly passed her phone to her bodyguard and curled on her bed. Song Zexi excused herself and talked to Li Chuntao over the phone. Not five minutes had passed, Li Xuying was already asleep while hugging her large doll.
"Miss Chuntao?"
"What did her doctor say? Would she be able to travel for long hours?" Li Chuntao wasted no ti and asked Song Zexi the questions that bugged her since morning knowing Ying would et her doctor.
"The baby seems fine and healthy, Miss. The doctor was also very kind and did an ultrasound to let Miss Ying see her baby.. Miss Ying was really happy until we t that woman."
