What the hell was happening? Lin irong wondered. Why did everyone go silent and was looking at her with disgust? The carefree atmosphere within the hall was suddenly replaced with an awkward and stilled silence which made her uncomfortable.
She suddenly had a bad feeling about this. Even the emcee looked at her with a conflicted expression on his face.
Was it pity or was it disgust? Lin irong wasn't sure herself.
Lin irong felt like she was the only one who didn't know what was happening. As her eyes scanned the crowd, she saw Mu Jianyu looking at his phone, his face blanched with terror while Li Xiuying who was also checking her phone beside him had knitted brows.
"I-I…" The words that she painfully tried to morize for two days was instantly forgotten as she stood awkwardly on the stage. What was she supposed to do now?
A man suddenly shouted from the audience area. His identity was unknown, but many people heard him loud and clear. It seed like he was stirring trouble within the assembly hall, adding fuel to the fire.
"Lin irong, you slut! You don't deserve that award!"
People started following his lead and voiced their opinions.
"Get down from there, you bitch! You disgust us!"
It was Lin irong's assistant who braved herself to run up and drag her down from the stage as the people started to curse and diss her. Lin irong had no ti to react as she had no clue of what the hell was happening to everyone. They stood in a corner but were still the center of everyone's attention.
"What's happening?" She gripped her assistant's arm, who was clearly distraught over the sudden change in the atmosphere within the assembly hall. "Why are they suddenly cursing ? Why are they looking at like that?"
She, who was aware of her beauty and charm, wasn't used to receiving the ire of the people. n were naturally attracted to her face and her body that not many can resist her charm. Although it was usual for the won to envy her, they never hated her to this extent!

Lin irong knitted her brows and released her poor assistant to fish her phone out. She was surprised to see that she was indeed on the hot search list and that every trending news was all about her.
She quickly opened one article with a headline of her na and saw several pictures of her being intimate with different n in different places. So were prominent, well known producers and directors that she had worked with in previous productions.
The scandal was all over the news and so many people were dragged into the issue with her. Just as Lin irong thought she saw enough, pictures and a sex video of her with a married man started to circulate around social dia, pushing her deeper into her grave.
The man in the pictures, of course she was able to recognize him imdiately although none of the pictures caught a clear view of his face.
These pictures made it clear that whoever took it had been stalking her and Mu Jianyu for the past month. Whoever did this surely had a good connection because each piece of news was all about her and the water armies were all out to destroy her!
Her fingers swiped to see what the netizens were saying about her and her heart almost plumted from the harsh words she was reading.

But she never cared about how huge the difference between them was until this mont, as her nails painfully dug into her skin. Mu Jianyu would still choose his wife, no matter how bad the situation is between them.
His words resounded in her head.

Why? Why was this happening? Just when she thought that she could finally taste success and experience being on top, it was snatched from her too soon. anwhile, Li Chuntao had forgotten her anxiety the mont she saw Lin irong's bewildered expression and Mu Jianyu's fear as soon as the scandal burst on social dia. The hard work Su Ling had been putting in for the past month finally showed results.
As to how she was able to completely destroy Lin irong's reputation, Li Chuntao had hired top computer experts and water armies to feed the rage of netizens to spite the actress.
