The family na Vincent was quite popular and that coupled with Ethan's recent infamy, quite a few people were paying attention to his platform.

"Hey, did that guy just use a few talismans back to back to win?"

"What the hell? How does he have so many gold coins? The talismans are insanely expensive in the academy store!"

"Maybe the rumor about him being a commoner was fake? How could a commoner possibly have so many gold coins to throw around? He is definitely from the Vincent family!"

"How shaless! What does it matter if he is a commoner or not? No one should be winning like this! This is complete bullshit!"

"He is just stupid is what it is. How many rounds can he win like this? He is just wasting gold coins!"

Ethan naturally had his own plan. He neither heard nor cared about these comnts. The token in his hand was already blinking, and another air bubble whisked him away to his next fight.

A few seconds later, the next fight ended before it even began. This ti, Ethan only had to use three talismans.

His fans erupted in stunned disbelief, followed almost imdiately by a wave of chaotic reactions that spread through the crowd like wildfire.

"Are you kidding ?! That was a second-year summoner he just crushed!"

"What the hell was that combo? Wind Slice, Nature Bind, and another Lightning Bolt? That's not a strategy—that's a massacre!"

"Holy crap, he's not even chanting or casting properly. He's just burning money and lting people!"

"Where the heck did this guy even co from? Who gave him the guts to behave so shalessly? This is complete bullshit!"

"That bastard needs to be kicked out of the tournant for cheating!"

"Please. He's just a rich brat, cheesing his way through the tournant. No real skill."

"Yeah, let's see how far he gets when his supply runs out."

anwhile, Ethan was already en route to the next platform. He had no plans to change his strategy any ti soon. In fact, he doubled down.

The next few matches blurred together in a spectacle of quick movents, glowing talismans, and stunned opponents who barely had ti to react before they were either rooted to the spot or zapped into unconsciousness.

Ethan moved like a storm wrapped in parchnt—wind, lightning, nature—each talisman detonating with sharp, unforgiving precision.

The academy crowd was reaching a boiling point. So had started chanting his alias mockingly—"Vincent! Vincent! Buy your win, Vincent!"—while others were genuinely intrigued.

A few even started whispering about whether talisman combat could beco the next popular ta. After all, if a first-year could eliminate upperclassn using nothing but clever timing and disposable tools, what did that say about everyone else?

Just like that, in the blink of an eye, Ethan was already facing his tenth and last opponent for the day. If he cleared this round, then he would have passed the first day of the tournant and stepped into the second day fights.

Another air bubble wrapped him up, and the new platform ca into view, slightly smaller than the previous one. His next opponent was already waiting. She was calm, seated cross-legged in the center with a wooden staff laid across her lap, dark robes flowing like liquid ink around her.

She looked up slowly as Ethan stepped onto the platform, her eyes sharp and intelligent. No cocky sneer. No insult. Just a small, intrigued smile.

"You're the talisman guy, right?" she asked.

Ethan raised a brow. "Depends. You planning to thank or curse ?"

"Neither," she replied, rising to her feet. "I just want to see what happens when magic ets thod."

The token pulsed. The system chid.

[Match 57: Comncing in 10… 9… 3… 2… 1… BEGIN.]

This ti, Ethan didn't wait. He threw in five wind slices talismans at the sa ti.

The talismans ignited in midair like a fan of erald blades, tearing through the space between them with a high-pitched hum. Five Wind Slices at once wasn't just overkill—it was absurd and totally excessive.

By this ti, a good portion of the crowd had started focusing on Ethan's matches. They all watched with bated breath as soone burned 1000 gold coins just like that. Was he going to win again just like that?

And that was when they saw it.

Ethan had sent five attacks at the sa ti, and yet… not a single one of them reached her. The girl was standing at the sa spot and still not a single attack had reached her.

She just gave him a look—cool, amused, and patient. "Five at once? That's a bit much, don't you think?"

Ethan's brows twitched. He didn't answer. Lightning Bolt. He once again sent five lightning bolts at the sa ti, the entire platform becoming blindingly bright.

A crackling barrage of lightning talismans roared forward, painting the air with jagged arcs of electric fury. The audience collectively leaned forward—eyes wide, breaths held. Ethan was relentless, sending an all-in burst of overwhelming magical firepower.

And yet—again—none of them landed.

It looked like the girl hadn't even lifted a finger, and she was still standing casually.

"Now, let's put an end to this disgrace." She smiled.

Everyone in the crowd cheered for her.

"Finally, soone can send this annoying bastard out."

"Too bad this guy was banned from participating in group dungeons. After today, I was planning to take him on a dungeon run!"

"He definitely used up all of his coins in this first round showing off like a moron. What is the point of trying to rob him now?"

Everyone was in high spirits as they wholeheartedly cheered the beautiful girl who was seconds away from defeating the shaless, idiotic psycho freak.

The mont the girl's pretty lips closed, her body blurred, and she moved at lightning speed. The next second, she was standing right in front of Ethan. The dagger in her hand instantly shot up to Ethan's neck to end the battle in a fraction of a second.

However, at the very last mont…

Bam! A punch landed right on her face, blood spraying from her mouth and her pretty face ruined like a banged-up tomato.
