It felt like sothing sharp and cold slipping through his veins, wrapping around his very essence. And then it began tearing.
"ARRRGHHH!"
His scream ripped through the chamber. The agony wasn’t physical alone. It was deeper. A twisting, searing pain that clawed into his soul.
It felt like a part of his very identity was being carved out. As if his breath, his blood, and his mories were all being yanked away in one stroke.
But he endured.
The Dragon God’s Codex, the mysterious power within him, had started the extraction. There was no going back now.
After a while, the agony vanished.
Then a glowing blue orb hovered in the air. Gentle. Radiant. Alive.

The newly evolved skill had already fused with him.
His form had changed into the new Manus form.
At first glance, he still looked like Chester—the sa handso face, sharp jawline, and snow-white hair cascading softly down to his shoulders.
But upon closer inspection, the transformation was clearly detectable.
His golden eyes glead with deeper intellect and raw instinct. They no longer just looked powerful—they commanded attention.
His physique had undergone a silent revolution. His previously athletic form was now honed to perfection, sculpted by elental forces and spiritual pressure alike. Muscles aligned like cords of steel beneath smooth skin, every ligant and tendon tightened and refined for peak performance.
He wasn’t bulky. He didn’t need to be.
His was the body of a predator hidden in a prince’s skin.
Compact. Lean. Dangerous.
Even his fingers, once calloused but human, now bore faint glowing traces of runic lines that disappeared when not in combat. His back was slightly broader, giving him a majestic posture. His body temperature was perfectly balanced between fla and frost.

He can now wield 50% of his true draconic power, which was previously just 30%. It was a big leap, that would make things convenient for him when uses the human form.
More importantly, it didn’t require mana to maintain constantly. The Skill Tree was like his second avatar. Completely indecipherable to Dragon lineage.
And with this new form, he could walk among them like a human while carrying the wrath of a dragon in waiting.
