Chapter 70: New Batch of Talismans
.
Just like he had predicted, the day was anything but peaceful.
After the group of custors had been "kindly warned" by Elder Lie not to cause any trouble, they waited patiently for the engraver to arrive.
They knew he probably wouldn’t have anything to sell that day,
after all, crafting takes ti, but their intention was to lock in a good deal and place their orders.
Unfortunately for them, Zhu Rong had dedicated that whole day to Ye Ning’s cultivation, leaving everyone stuck at the pavilion until closing ti, before being kicked out by Elder Lie.
That only made the tension worse, and the next day, when Zhu Rong finally arrived, he was t by Ye Ning holding what could only be described as a tower of papers,
more precisely, orders for talismans.
Zhu Rong had expected his talismans’ popularity to grow quickly, but even he found this a little unexpected,
Not that he was upset about it, more orders ant more money.
So with a cheerful smile, he picked up his tools and said,
"Co on, ti to get to work."
Ye Ning was a little intimidated by the ever growing stack of orders, but seeing that her master didn’t seem even remotely worried,
she too solidified her determination and started helping out.
At first, she thought that since the prices had gone back to their original value, the number of orders would drop,
but what she didn’t know was that Zhu Rong’s talismans were far more effective than others of the sa rank,
so the people who had already tried them had no hesitation about buying more, even at higher prices.
She assisted with little tasks, mostly acting as support while Zhu Rong seed to be drawing rune formations one after another,
like so kind of printing machine, cranking out talismans nonstop.
His pace didn’t slow down, not even after an hour,
if anything, it got faster.
As Ye Ning adapted to the rhythm, he sped up even more.
Not once did he stop to check if the formations he’d just inscribed were completely correct or not,
he had absolute confidence in his skills,
the kind of confidence that only cos after years of experience in the craft.
Even master engravers wouldn’t have that kind of confidence, no matter how skilled,
only Grandmasters could pull off sothing like this with talismans of this level.
And so, in less than five hours, Zhu Rong had pumped out nearly 300 first grade spirit rank talismans.
If another engraver had witnessed this, they’d probably have slapped themselves a few tis to make sure they weren’t dreaming.
By the ti evening approached, Zhu Rong had finished the batch and imdiately submitted them to the pavilion for evaluation before putting them up for sale.
The inspectors, all expert rank engraver, were baffled by the massive number of talismans, wondering where the hell so many had co from all at once.
That said, they didn’t waste ti and managed to finish the whole evaluation within an hour.
They wore amazed expressions as they gave the OK on the talisman batch.
"Heavens, it’s the first ti I’ve seen such a huge batch, all crafted perfectly... Could it be that a Master Engraver decided to clear out so stock?"
muttered one of them, impressed by the precision and care in every single talisman.
No matter how many he inspected, he never found a single flaw, everything was flawless, done to absolute perfection.
It left him a little shaken.
And they weren’t the only ones shocked by the batch.
Soon enough, soone else joined them,
soone who just the day before had said it would be a while before a new batch ca in.
Old Liu: "..."
’Holy sht, where the hell did all these talismans co from?!’
His surprise was understandable,
seeing a few new ones in a day or two was reasonable,
but an entire batch of 300? That was on a whole other level.
He started wondering if it was actually a team of engravers working around the clock, not just one person.
Before long, news of the new batch spread, and everyone who had placed orders ca rushing to the pavilion again, packing the place to the brim once more.
The only difference this ti was that none of them dared make a fuss, waiting calmly for their turn to receive their talismans.
In one day of work, Zhu Rong had multiplied his profits several tis over,
earning 25,500 low-grade spirit stones after taxes.
in other words,
255 dium grade stones
or 2.55 high grade spirit stones
This officially placed him on the sa level as a middle class Wealthy person,
not ridiculously rich, but definitely far from poor, right in the sweet spot.
Still, way wealthier than the average person.
Zhu Rong did a few quick calculations and figured that not even his family made that kind of money in a day,
they’d probably need 3-4 full business days to match that number.
Basically, his pockets were now full.
And seeing this, he knew it was ti to take care of a few things he had left hanging,
starting with buying the rest of the elf group from the slave rchant.
"Dear guest, its a pleasure to see you return to my humble store. Please, follow , I have your slaves ready,"
said the rchant with a sweet tongue as he led him to where the rest of the elves were kept.
He had expected to wait a few weeks, but the young boy had returned in just a few days,
and this ti he said he wanted all of them.
Needless to say, those words made the day of the rchant, who didn’t hold back with flattery and praise.
He thought Zhu Rong had so kind of obsession with elf won, who naturally had a certain allure,
maybe that’s why he bought them all ?
With that in mind, the rchant considered offering him won from other races, thinking he could make so more money.
Unfortunately for him, all he got in return was a cold, emotionless glance.
That look alone nearly made him tremble.
He felt like the person in front of him had beco even more intimidating than the last ti,
and that realization only made his heart grow colder.
To think soone so young could carry an aura like that...
It was terrifying.
He thought that If he’s not so talented youth, then he must be a high level cultivator in disguise.
In the end, whatever the case, he understood this client was far from ordinary,
and he’d better tread carefully whenever he dealt with him, to avoid any unfortunate misunderstandings.
Just as he began calming down, he noticed the other man looking in a certain direction,
his eyes filled with surprise.
Seeing that, the rchant also turned his gaze that way, trying to figure out what had caught this young mans attention.
