As they were heading towards the place where the strange aura was from they could hear the sounds of heavy explosions, impacts, and screams of pain. It was obvious that soone was in a battle. From behind they heard the massive roar and a purple and black explosion of flas. Esdeath looked back. "Tyrant has gained so serious firepower." Kurayami was proud of his first familiar.
When they got to the origin of the battle Kurayami raised his hand. "I would not look if I were you if you are squeamish." Kouki ignored him and looked on. Kurayami shrugged and lit up the whole area with burning spears of light. As for what they saw it was sickening. "Ugh!" Natsu's involuntary reaction was a loss for words and disgust.
What was revealed by the fire was a ghastly scene coated with blood.. All throughout the area, their lay dead bodies wearing business suits had been turned into grueso corpses. Those who had been chopped to pieces, those whose arms and legs had been ripped off, and those whose heads had been smashed in. Kurayami whistled as it took power to do that.
He picked up one corpse by his shirt and watched as it began to fall apart. Shigune, Natsu, and Tobio looked away in absolute disgust. Raynare kicked one of the corpses and smiled. "One hit. This guy died in one hit." Natsu looked over. "How are you so calm." Esdeath shrugged. "We have done worse. Rember that cultist group?" Kurayami and the girls nodded.
Akeno explained" We killed and tortured a cultist group who sacrificed children trying to summon Lucifer. It failed, but we still got paid." Tobio looked around and Draig spoke to him. "Don't look away. Try and get used to it." As much as he wanted to listen, the scene had beco sothing he couldn't bear to look at.
Lavinia used so magic to create so light and directed the light at sothing in the dark. What they saw standing there was a single boy. He had unkempt black hair set with gold highlights here and there, and an indescribably ominous aura coiled around his entire body. Kurayami looked at his right arm and what was sothing resembling a gauntlet.
Draig understood in a single glance. "Seems they are trying to imitate the Boosted Gear. Crude work at best." Tobio raised his left hand it it did look like a copy of the Boosted Gear. Koga looked towards the light while he was wiping the blood of the n off his face with his hand. Koga noticed that Shigune was there and spoke up. "Oh, if it ain't Nanadaru. (Shigune's last na.) So you ca back. Sothing going on."
When he noticed familiar faces he began to count them with his hands. Kurayami felt his mind had taken a toll as it took him way longer to count than it should. He was breathing heavily and it seems he was slow on the uptake. He slowly spoke and had a blank look bordering on stupid.
"Let's see, Tobio, Natsu, and Kouki. So more that I never saw. By any chance, are you the rest of the Four Fiends? When did it beco the 5 fiends?" He looked at Shin, very confused, and back to his side. What ca out of his shadow looked like a mass of fur. To Kurayami it looked similar to a black-furred dog.
It seed to have all the characteristics of a dog, but the fur was covering the area around the eyes, its face was indiscernible. Having noticed Kurayami's intense gaze on the dog-like creature, Koga spoke. "Aah, this is Blitz. He's what you'd call my Sacred Gear." Kurayami felt that was weird. "I have a pet nad Blitz. What a coincidence."
However, Koga's gaze was stuck on Shin who looked bigger, scarier, and just more ominous than Blitz. If Blitz was like a dark shadow, Shin was like an abyss that if you looked into it would swallow you up. Blitz looked down and avoided Shin's look. " By any chance, is he the real fourth fiend?" Kurayami shook his head and approached the boy.
"No, Shin here is my Sacred Gear and of a higher class than yours. While yours is in the highest class bordering a Longinus it just does not asure up. How about you bud?" Blitz walked forward and Kurayami scratched the dog-like creature on the chin. Koga was shocked as Blitz seems to not like anyone, but him.
Koga shrugged and walked away. He expected Blitz to leave with him, but he stayed behind as he liked his chin rubs. Koga kept walking and didn't even notice. Akeno whispered in Kurayami's ear. "Brother. Is he missing a few screws?" Kurayami nodded. "Seems his mind is slow." Koga frowned.
"Well, whatever. Leaving that aside, It seems our guests have so business with us." From out of the depths of the mountain, what appeared together with darkness was and leading them was an old man who was the best magician they had as Agusta was dead. They didn't want to risk Walburga and they sent him out.
"We have been surrounded," Lavinia spoke as she gazed at the magicians. As she had said, people who appeared to be many magicians wearing robes had surrounded them. The old man observed Kurayami and the others one by one while narrowing his eyes. Before he spoke Kurayami spoke up. "Drop your wands in three seconds or you will be turned into minceat."
The magicians all glared at him and were pissed. "We magicians will not fear a child." He raised his wand and a huge number of magic circles were created. Kurayami looked over at Esdeath and she understood. She walked forward alone and slowly drew her rapier. Natsu felt the dense killing intent coming from her and shuddered. It made the guy from earlier look like a flicker. She suddenly vanished and appeared on the other side and had a cold look on her face.
The magicians except the old man were cut into pieces and she walked back and kicked him in the thigh, breaking it. He scread in pain and she drove her rapier into his back. "I hit you in a non-fatal area. I can do this for hours, so what are you here for?" He didn't say a word, but his body began to wither and die. Seems he used a fail-safe to kill himself.
Esdeath pulled her rapier and put it back in her sheath. Kurayami looked around and nodded. "Well done. Is that all or can we go ho." Koga had a slow look on his face and tilted his head. "I didn't see her move. How?" Kurayami patted him on the back. "She is just that fast. How about coming to Grigori. You can be just as strong, or give your-"
A pair of hands covered his mouth and he felt a huge pair of tits wrapping his head. "Nya. You have enough." His eyes squinted and he mumbled that it was not enough. "Nya. You have and unlike them, you can eat up later on. " She licked his ear and he cald down. Natsu, Kouki, Shigune, and Koga looked at Kuroka who had cat ears and two tails.
"The cat beca a model. How?" Kurayami looked at Koga and smiled. "This is Kuroka, one of my fiances." So of them gawked and were left speechless. Koga looked at her and back to Kurayami. "You said one of them." He nodded. "In the supernatural world having a harem is common practice." Esdeath, and Raynare could be open with it, but It was too early for Akeno though. "We are also his finances. The thing about Kurayami is that he does not pursue one, but he already is getting one."
Tobio looked at his cousin and decided to ask. "How did it happen?" Kurayami smiled. "Years of effort and being strong." The girls nodded and Akeno was nodding. Natsu looked at her and was weirded out. "Why are you nodding?" Akeno gasped. "I ant it was why brother is getting one." They accepted it and Koga accepted.
"What happened to our classmates?" Kurayami explained. "They were already treated and are back in their normal lives." He thought about it and he was slower. "Fine. You did help them." Shigune nodded. "I don't have anywhere to go anyway."
Kurayami sat on a big rock and brought out his pets. Zhang, Aurora, and Blitz all got attention as it was interesting. Shigune had seen him bring out a dragon and was interested. "How many do you have so many?" Kurayami picked up Zhang and explained. "I am a beast tar. We ta beasts for either fighting or li for fun and fighting."
They just sat around waiting for Baraqiel to finish as he could handle himself and he had Vali and Tyrant with him.
(ten minutes earlier.)
After Baraqiel, Vali and Tyrant had parted they had been advancing towards the mountain area by following the familiar aura of his forr friend. The place they arrived at was an aged Shinto shrine that had been a site of worship in the village. He did not enter as a fallen angel and a devil were not part of Japanese origin.
It would be inappropriate for Barakiel and Vali to set foot on the site of the shrine without the permission of the gods worshiped in this country. It was a way to avoid trouble by offending the gods. Baraiqel reminded him of how he t his wife. Suddenly he heard a calm voice and Tyrant began to growl while white and black lightning roared off his body.
"What you are rembering was how you t your wife right? Who would have known that your child would be born with a Longinus? How funny it is that the Incinerate Anthem was given to a fallen angel, who couldn't be further away from God " They looked towards the direction the voice had co from.
The one who appeared from the shadow of a large tree was a tall man dressed in a fallen angel-use battlesuit. He smiled and looked at the Shrine, "Choosing this place was not an accident. I wanted to see how you would react when you find out your wife will die tonight"
The mont the words ca out of Satanael's mouth Braqiel was enraged. Tyrant seed about to enter outrage mode for the first ti as he had known Shuri for years and even liked her. Satanael looked at the dragon and even he shuddered. "Where did you get that?" Baraqiel didn't care about that. "SHUT UP. WHAT DO YOU AN?"
Satanael smiled. "A group of people from the Hijima, devils and so fallen who hate you are going towards your ho to kill your wife. I heard that you have a child on the way and sad to say it will never see the light of day." Baraqiel was enraged and yet he knew his son asked Azrael to keep his wife safe and cald his rage. He would still kill Satanael for that risk.
"Before we kill you, why did you leave Grigori, Satanael? We were friends for centuries, we fought side by side in the great war. Why?" Satanael snapped his fingers and Eight or nine people ca out. It was Satanael's proteges, the 'Abyss Team'. Satanael explained his obsession. "I just desire the sa Sacred Gear possibilities as the other researchers. However, Azazel had no intention of doing what was needed."
Baraqiel and Vali didn't feel it was worth it. "So therefore you left our organization and joined hands with other powers? You offered Grigori's research to an agency related to the Five Principal Clans. Did you not realize just how much chaos that would cause?"
Satanael made a complicated expression in response to Barakiel's statent. Satanael shook his head and resolved his will. "It is rely that my goals are in agreent with the 'Utsusemi Agency' and Oz." Barakiel suddenly felt Koga's artificial balance breaker and directed his gaze towards it. "So that is also what you're doing then."
Satanael nodded. "It's rely the theory of myself and Azazel quickly showing its form. I won't deny though that it was a considerably flawed thod. However, it appears to be a success. Our theory was splendid." Vali spoke up for the first ti. "I thought Azazel said to not do things that invite chaos into the world." Satanael shrugged. "He does not do what needs be. If we want to make a new Longinus we need to take risks. Sacrifice people. we can always get more."
Baraqiel saw no point in hearing more and pointed his huge claymore at Satanael. Lighting coursed through his body and he looked forward. "Any last words?" However, Satanael snapped his fingers and a mist began to spring forth throughout the area. Tyrant roared and attacked with a massive black fireball that exploded. "Not going to work lizard" Baraqiel rembered what this was. "Forest of Bewildernt".
Satanael and his class vanished and the three of them were left annoyed with smoldering earth. Tyrant growled and took to the sky to return to Kurayami. Albion translated what he said. "He said you talk too much." Baraqiel and Vali followed him and returned to the rest of the group.
