While watching the 1st Princess’s ascent up the stairs, several just now noticed the strikingly handso man walking beside her. He took away the breaths of many, but more importantly, it was the fact that he seed so close to the 1st Princess that had many people asking questions.
Who was this man?
A friend of the 1st Princess?
A lover??
But once again, none gathered outside the Royal Palace were courageous enough to ask for the truth themselves. They did, however, following Zar with their eyes, seemingly trying to see right through him.
Paying very little heed to all of the attention they were receiving, Valley Master Yu and Zar ultimately made it to the top of the staircase. It was there that they were stopped by two Elite Imperial Guards crossing their halberds out.
"None are permitted entry into the Royal Palace!"
Yu Quixan’s eyes turned into slits as she coldly asked, "On whose orders?"
"Archduke Gu Quixan!" The two Imperial Guards responded in unison, flaring their Deity Transformation Realm Cultivations. "None are permitted entry!"
"My father is still alive and that old bastard is already treating this place like he owns it," Yu Quixan muttered, with her face covered in black lines. "Good, very good."
OOOM!
Erupting with the full power of the 2nd Layer Void Crossing Realm, Yu Quixan forced the Imperial Guards to their knees. "Your devotion is respectable, but you being in my way is a nuisance."
"No...ne are... perm..ited t..o... pass..."
Even with their faces pressed into the pavent, the Imperial Guards resisted until they passed out from the overwhelming level of pressure.
Yu Quixan briefly glanced at them before her eyes plunged into the frigid depths. She passed between them, her anger growing with every step she took into the Royal Quixan Palace.
Zar was positive he had never seen his Master so angered before. She was seething, borderline wrathful.
’Should I do sothing to stop her?’
On second thought, it was best to remain a spectator until absolutely necessary in situations like these. Thus Zar stayed silent and trailed behind his Master, watching as those they encountered in the Royal Palace went pale at her appearance and stifling presence.
However, such oppression quickly subsided when the two of them made it inside the Emperor’s Personal Chamber. Gu Quixan’s existence made sure of it.
"Dear Niece, you should’ve told you were coming," Gu Quixan said with a friendly smile while standing over Emperor Quixan. "I would’ve prepared the appropriate accommodations for soone of such a high status like yourself, haha."
’This bastard...!’ Yu Quixan ground her teeth, using all her willpower not to punch him across his fat mouth. ’One day, I swear that I’ll kill you!!’
After inwardly smirking at her hatred for him, Gu Quixan directed his attention to the withered and decrepit man laying on his death-bed. He should look like a middle-aged man, but because of the effects of the Seven Underworlds Poison, his appearance was reduced to what it was now.
"Grandmaster Yaguway," he asked in a concerned tone to the old man holding a cane beside him. "Is there truly nothing that can be done to save my precious brother??"
"No... Even I cannot do anything to prevent the inevitable," replied Yaguway, his head shaking as if it were a pity. "The Five Marks of Decay have no known cure."
Taking a peek at this old man’s system interface, Zar saw:

’His na...’ Zar thought. ’Isn’t that what high-ranking mbers of the Seven Underworlds Sect are called? So that’s what’s happening here...’
This Grandmaster Yaguway had sohow slipped through the net that was the mass destruction and genocides of the 1st-rate Demonic Sects in the general area. A good guess was that he had been hiding out in the Quixan Dynasty this whole ti, abiding with Archduke Gu to provide the poison that would take the life of an Emperor.
’I assud I had eradicated every single one of you high-Lifespan Elders, but you were fortunate not to et the sa fate as your brethren.’
Then again, that bout of good fortune was about to end real soon, so perhaps this Grandmaster Yaguway wasn’t m so lucky after all.
"Hmm?" Feeling sothing off, Yaguway looked around the room, but only found a handso man making a weirdly friendly expression. ’1st Layer of Core Formation... Just so trash.’
"Wasn’t this supposed to be a eting of close family?" Grandmaster Yaguway questioned aloud. "Because why is a weakling pretty boy like him doing here?? Shouldn’t he be more aware of his place??"
The eyes of everyone in the room, including various other mbers of the Royal Family, fell on Zar. They seed to be wanting to pierce right through him.
However, he remained unfazed.
"Mother," the young 13th Prince whispered to a curvaceous woman standing next to him. "Isn’t the Core Formation Realm supposed to be strong...? I’m only in the Qi Condensation Realm..."
The 8th Wife of Emperor Quixan leaned down to the dawn height as her 9 year old son and whispered back, "The Core Formation Realm is of course very powerful, but there are many in the World of Immortal Cultivation with cultivation far surpassing that Realm."
"Then what about , mother? Will I ever achieve such a high Realm...?"
The 8th Wife smiled in adoration, and while holding him close, replied, "With your talent, you’ll go far beyond the Core Formation Realm. Just give it so ti, and this unknown man will look like no more than rubbish you just happened to co across on your journey."
"Mhmkay, mother!"
’You know I can hear you two, right...?’ Zar released a cloud of exasperation, before refocusing on all the stares he was receiving.
All the Princesses and Princes were convened within the spacious room, of which there were many with attractive appearances. They had differing personalities as well, with so pretty princesses blushing at just the sight of him, while other equally pretty princesses stared at him with an unfounded degree of iciness.
