Yurashi, who had quickly said her goodbyes to the others, caught up with Seralyne and spoke.

"C’mon, Seralyne, why are you in such a hurry to go back to the clan? It’s not like we all get to et every day," she said, her tone carrying a hint of disappointnt.

"I was actually planning a fun trip for the five of us today, but you just had to ruin the mood," Yurashi added, shaking her head.

At her words, Seralyne stopped and turned to glare at her for a mont before speaking.

"Since that head of yours is always filled with useless thoughts instead of useful ones, let help fix that by explaining what’s happening right now—or what might happen in the near future," she said coldly, crossing her arms under her chest, her signature frown deepening as she stared down at the clueless Yurashi.

"You should already know that the creature we just fought was incredibly dangerous. The most dangerous being I’ve ever encountered. And it wasn’t because of its strength or size—it was that weird decaying aura. Just one touch, and we’d probably rot away in an instant, just like those people who touched the crack," Seralyne explained seriously.

"But we’re different from those ordinary humans. We possess the strongest God’s bloodline. We were just being extra cautious not to let it touch us or we touch it," Yurashi replied casually, still relaxed. "also I’m sure Sylveraine is already testing if it actually works on us."

"What if it does work—even on us?" Seralyne suddenly asked.

Yurashi fell silent, unable to co up with anything to counter that. The truth was, those creatures were truly terrifying—especially if they could affect even them.

"Listen, Yurashi. I don’t care about anyone else—not my father, my brother, or any other person, with only a few exceptions. But even then, I won’t save those few exceptions, if they don’t value their own lives. If they choose to be careless, then they can go and die, so why should I care when then them self don’t do?" Seralyne said flatly.

"So train. Beco stronger—far stronger than you are now. Not for anyone else, but for yourself. For your own life. For your own survival. Train until one day, if you can’t save yourself... I’ll be able to help you," she said, staring directly into Yurashi’s eyes.

Yurashi stood there, montarily moved by Seralyne’s words. She quickly composed herself and gave a soft reply, not with her usual grin or teasing smirk, but with a seriousness rare for her.

"Hmm... okay," she said quietly.

"I’ll do my best," she added more firmly, conviction in her voice.

"Good," Seralyne replied with a small, rare smile gracing her lips. "Also, prepare yourself for a few beatings. I haven’t forgotten anything," she said, her smile gradually turning into sothing far more sinister—devilish, even. It promised an experience Yurashi wouldn’t want to go through again... because of just how good it was going to be.

Yurashi, who had been touched by her words and was feeling a little emotional, was imdiately yanked out of her thoughts. A bead of sweat trailed down her forehead as she asked timidly, "Umm... can I take the day off today? I’m not feeling very good."

"Hahahaha!" Seralyne laughed, giving Yurashi a mont of fleeting hope—hope that maybe, just maybe, she’d be spared.

But as quickly as that hope ca, it was crushed with a single word.

"No," Seralyne said simply, turning around and walking away.

"And don’t even think about running," she added without looking back. "I can easily find you with the old woman’s help."

Yurashi, who hadn’t even thought of escaping yet, suddenly felt the crushing weight of despair settle in. She lowered her head and followed after Seralyne like a sad, defeated cat.

Zaephiel’s POV:

"Is this... the power of the strongest bloodline possessors in the world?" Zaephiel muttered to himself, lowering the binoculars from his eyes.

He had been watching the entire thing from the beginning—the whole fight, every movent. He still couldn’t believe what he’d seen. The redhead wielded multiple elents like it was second nature. The angry woman had released a beam from her mouth. And even those who didn’t use any visible powers were incredibly fast—so fast he couldn’t even catch a glimpse of their shadows.

And then... that massive gray monster that ca out of the crack.

Just looking at it gave him a strange feeling—like he liked it and hated it at the sa ti. It was confusing. He didn’t understand it, so he gave up trying to figure it out for now. Instead, he kept watching closely. He even tried using his powers, but they were too far away—beyond his three-ter range. He couldn’t sense what the crack was, nor what that monster had been.

After the monster was defeated, he watched as the angry woman walked away after saying sothing, with the pink-eyed woman following her in another direction. The redhead then began creating a do over the crack, sealing it with her elental powers.

Roughly ten to twenty minutes later, around fifty people arrived—thirty of them wearing orange uniforms, and the rest dressed in so sort of police attire. The redhead opened a path in the do to let them enter. She and Sylveraine followed them in.

After about twenty minutes, they all erged. The twenty officers ca out intact, though they looked deeply disturbed. But the thirty orange-clad individuals were nowhere to be seen.

The redhead and Sylveraine erged in silence, both deep in thought, as if contemplating sothing too serious to speak aloud.

Then, with a brief goodbye to the redhead and the guards, Sylveraine began walking toward Zaephiel. In a few minutes, she reached him and spoke plainly.

"Let’s go, Zaephiel. The work here is done," she said, her sharp purple eyes eting the small boy’s golden eyes.
