On the southeast side of Versailles Palace Square, just outside the Sycamore Grove, there was a small courtyard enclosed by a stone wall, a hundred ters square. Inside the courtyard, there was a crucible furnace for slting iron, and about ten wooden sheds of various sizes.
At that mont, Joseph stood in front of the main gate of the courtyard, where a stone stele read "Royal Armory," bowing deeply to the retreating figure of Louis XVI.

"Parts produced in this way, from the material to the dinsions, would be almost exactly the sa. Ultimately, even if the parts are given to workers who are not technically skilled, they can still assemble them into a qualified flintlock gun."
The two directors suddenly widened their eyes—the crown prince's thod sounded unbelievable, but upon closer consideration, it seed very feasible.
If produced in this way, only a small number of craftsn familiar with all the processes would be needed to establish the standards, while other craftsn could simply follow the standards step by step.
It was easy to imagine that production speed would greatly increase, and training craftsn would beco much simpler!
How had the crown prince co up with such a marvelous thod? The child of divine favor was indeed worthy of the na!
Joseph then briefly explained concepts like "tolerance" and "quality control" to them, and finally said:
"The craftsn might not easily accept the new production model. In the initial stage of implentation, output might even decrease, but as long as we persevere, we will surely greatly improve production efficiency."
"I will work with you during this ti to establish all the production standards and help you with the training of the craftsn."
Joseph suddenly thought that perhaps he should also implent a standardization system at the machine tool factory, steam engine factory, and other factories, and even introduce national product standards.
