Chapter 1183: Chapter 1089: Laying the Plan

Little Turtle sighed, “You’re right. We no longer deserve the title of warriors, but there’s truly no way…”

Three Fires murmured, “We have only over a thousand warriors left, and all around are Arican troops. That’s why we signed that treaty!”

Last year, after the Arican Army defeated the Northwest Indian Alliance, they forced the latter to sign the Greenville Treaty.

The treaty stipulated that the Arican Governnt “purchased” 250,000 square kiloters of land from 6 Indian Tribes for 20,000 US Dollars, leaving the Indians only a small piece of land in northwest Ohio to live on. Additionally, all Indian Tribes’ trade must be monitored by the Arican Governnt, practically requiring them to sell their outputs cheaply to Aricans.

Betina waved her hand and exclaid, “No, every Indian is born a warrior. And there is a generous individual willing to provide weapons to help you take revenge on the Aricans!”

Little Turtle’s eyes brightened for a mont but then dimd again, “Let’s forget it. Our tribesn are all trapped in this narrow ‘cage.’

“As soon as we attack the Aricans, they will imdiately kill the won and children of the tribe.”

The reserve land is very small, surrounded by Arican towns, making it so that any movent from the Indians would lead to extermination.

Betina slightly smiled, revealing the main purpose of this trip, “If you can migrate your tribespeople to other places, such as the Mississippi River West Bank, then you could fight the Aricans more freely, couldn’t you?”

“That’s French territory…” Little Turtle was montarily stunned as he spoke halfway, realizing the person in front of him was nothing short of the French envoy.

He promptly stated firmly, “No, the Miami Tribe will never submit to any white man!”

The leaders of several other major tribes also chid in, “The Ottawa Tribe will not submit to whites either!”

“And the Delaware Tribe…”

Betina gestured for them not to get agitated, “You needn’t submit to anyone. As long as you don’t break the laws of Saint Louis Louisiana, no one will interfere with you.

“Until you reclaim your ancestral lands in the Ohio and Indiana regions.”

Little Turtle and the others exchanged surprised looks, seeing a tall man with three scars on his face step forward and pat his chest towards Betina, “The Shawnee Tribe is willing to go there, but you have to give 200 Flintlock Guns, any conditions are acceptable.”

“Are you the chieftain of the Blue-coats?” Betina asked. The Shawnee Tribe led by the Blue-coats was the only Northwest tribe that hadn’t signed the Greenville Treaty, but had retreated into the reserve land under the pressure from the Arican Army.

Scarface nodded, “Yes, I am.”

Betina smiled, “How many warriors do you have?”

“At most 400.”

“Alright, after the Shawnee Tribe begins migrating, you shall receive 400 of the finest Flintlock Guns.”

The Northwest Indian Alliance was previously the most resolute resistance force against the Aricans, possessing rich combat experience and more than 30,000 tribespeople, thus Joseph must recruit them into the Indian forces.

Migrating their tribes to Saint Louis Louisiana, the Shawnee Tribe can continue guerrilla warfare with the Aricans in the Ohio Reserve.

anwhile, Little Turtle, Three Fires, and others can be trained as officers—their talent for command is evident from their ability to defeat equally numbered Arican militia with primitive weapons. With formal military training, they are destined to beco a nightmare for the Arican Army.

Furthermore, although the Northwest tribes aren’t as westernized as the Creek Tribe, they greatly influence the most advanced Indian group, the Iroquois Alliance—after being driven from the Eastern Coast by the Aricans to the Ohio area, they have been forced to rely on the Northwest tribes due to their population dwindling to less than 4,000.

The Iroquois Alliance has spent the longest ti learning from England and the United States, achieving at least 80% of the Aricans’ proficiency in growing cotton, raising cattle and horses, and even administrative managent.

Before being driven from their territory by the Aricans, they had even established a Congress, gaining the embryonic form of a kingdom.

If the Northwest Indian Alliance were to move to Saint Louis Louisiana, the Iroquois Alliance would surely follow, providing significant help in constructing the Indian tribes.

Due to the substantial differences in language and lifestyle between these Indians and the Creek Tribe, missionaries had not been sent to them earlier. However, as soon as they beco neighbors with the Creek Tribe, they will certainly quickly accept the Indian Gospel.

In fact, news of the “Alabama Miracle” has already reached them.

The Blue-coats saluted Betina by placing a hand on his chest, “The Shawnee Tribe will forever rember your help.”

Little Turtle no longer hesitated and added, “The Miami Tribe is also willing to go to the Mississippi River West Bank.”

“And the Ottawa Tribe…”

“The Potawatomi Tribe is willing as well…”

Upper Mississippi River.

Nebraska region.

Father Vigne heard the ‘uluuluulu’ shouts ahead, mingled with gunfire, and the fatigue he felt suddenly diminished.

After half a month’s trek, he finally found the Sioux’s settlent.

This largest tribe in the central north of the North Arican Continent has nearly 60,000 people, living off horseback riding and buffalo hunting.

Previously, their territory bordered the British Newfoundland Colony in the north, now known as Canada, and stretched east to the Great Lakes Region, connecting with the Miami Tribe.

But in recent years, under the relentless pressure of England and the United States, they have retreated to the Nebraska and South Dakota areas.

Well, these areas all fall within the Saint Louis Louisiana Colony’s range.

Of course, Vigne did not co to assert sovereignty over the Sioux but to evangelize.

In truth, although Nebraska is a plain, it is located in the famous “North Arican Tornado Alley,” frequently experiencing extre heat, thunderstorms, and hail in the sumr, presenting very harsh climate conditions.

So the Sioux has entirely abandoned farming now, their living standards increasingly sliding.

Father Vigne saw the Sioux hunting party from afar, first silently reciting “May Jesus forgive ” several tis, then quickly stepped forward, devoutly speaking to the leading Sioux, “Do you know of the prophecy and the ‘Alabama Miracle’?”

Hmm, he now has little psychological burden speaking of these ‘improper’ parts of the Bible.

In less than a month, the Sioux were filled with Indian-style Catholics everywhere.

And Chieftain Red Horse agreed to migrate to the area around the middle of the Mississippi River and abide by the laws of Saint Louis Louisiana.

They will receive 150 million acres of land, a place with natural conditions far superior to Nebraska.

anwhile, other mbers of Vigne’s missionary team are also in a blitz across regions like Minnesota and Kansas, leading nurous small tribes to embrace the Indian-style Jesus.

At least half of them have decided to migrate to the Mississippi River West Bank to live.

By the end of 1796, more than 160,000 Indians had gathered in this area and, with the help of the Saint Louis Louisiana Governor’s Palace, set up simple towns.

And more Indians are continuously arriving.
