The terrifying power of the thunder dispersed Rashid’s seemingly insubstantial golden Light Sword.

Blue and purple radiance shone in the conference hall whose do had been shattered.

Thor, like a deity commanding thunder, with his wild, flowing hair, slowly rose into the air and looked down upon Rashid, "I once thought Third Rank Life’s Life Magnetism was strong, but it seems so easily broken..."

As he spoke,

an invisible electromagnetic field spread all around.

The next mont,

boom~

Countless thick cent walls and marble columns weighing thousands of pounds, as if crushed and kneaded by an invisible giant hand, shattered apart.

The entire conference hall, faced with this destructive force, collapsed thunderously, turning into endless mounds of construction debris, swirling around Thor’s body, imposing a doomsday-like sense of oppression on those below who hadn’t yet reacted.

"Run!"

The quicker reactors shouted and grabbed their female companions, sprinting away.

Those slower on the uptake, upon seeing others fleeing, also realized what was happening and followed the crowd in a frantic escape.

Fortunately, everyone present had basic resources, thanks to spending money on Enhancents; they were either Enhanced humans or Beastified People, with more than half exceeding the threshold of Second Rank Life.

These individuals, once they started running, were like transcendent fleas, leaving behind afterimages as they madly dashed toward the exterior.

The scene was spectacular.

In the blink of an eye,

the attendees of the conference had run away, leaving Thor and Rashid alone.

Those actually unlucky were the servants and bodyguards present.

They were mostly servants of the Abak family, the majority not even First Rank Life, and even when they did react, they weren’t as fast as the powerful leaders.

Before they could get far,

Rashid saw that the leaders had distanced themselves and without further delay, stretched out his palm toward Thor, "Ant, your understanding of Third Rank Life is too superficial. In the na of the dawn, I declare your death! Purification!"

Buzz~

Countless shimring golden lights ford a sphere-shaped golden sun, enveloping an area of several hundred ters.

"Ah!"

Piercing screams ca from within the Light Ball.

These were the dying cries of the servants and maids.

They hadn’t managed to escape far before being encircled by the Light Ball, and then penetrated by nurous golden rays like arrows, dying a terrible death.

Thor watched all this with cold eyes.

All the golden arrows, upon coming within a ter of him, were devoured by the blue and purple thunder circling Thor, unable to even approach him.

Rashid’s gaze finally beca grave as he looked at the living, snake-like blue and purple thunder encircling Thor’s body.

Sothing was not right...

The power emanating from this guy was very strange.

Several hundred ters away,

n and won in fancy attire watched the distant golden Light Ball, faces filled with joy from a narrow escape.

They had made it out!

Only Sven and Rados looked towards the Light Ball where Thor and Rashid were, with worry in their eyes.

They were now in the sa boat as Thor; his glory was their glory, his loss their loss. Naturally, they didn’t want to see Thor killed by Rashid.

"Thor should be able to win, right?"

Sven, clenching his fists, spoke to Rados in a secretive language, in a low voice.

Rados nodded firmly, "No problem, if Thor hasn’t lied to us, then there’s definitely no problem. After all, that thing was discovered together with those ’Afterglow Boards’..."

The two communicated in a simple secret language they created, so they weren’t worried about others deciphering their conversation.

Not far away,

Brian, pulling Susan, blended into the crowd, moving away from the eting hall now in ruins.

He glanced at Sven and Rados conversing in the secret language, and then refocused on the distant Light Ball.

Thor’s sudden eruption had taken him by surprise.

Not because Thor’s power was particularly strong, but because he couldn’t understand what Thor relied on to control thunder.

That thunder was also very strange.

Rashid’s Life Magnetism couldn’t interfere with his perception.

In Brian’s perception, the blue and purple thunder that snaked around Thor, though similar in essence to the thunder he could control, had an added vivacity, akin to an Elental Life Form.

Susan, whose perception wasn’t as strong as Brian’s,

squinted at the shining golden sun and tugging at Brian’s sleeve said, "I didn’t expect Thor to have hidden so deep."

"Do you know him?"

Brian hadn’t heard of this person before.

Susan shook her head:

"I don’t, but my father ntioned him.

After the Liki family got involved in the ’Afterglow Board’ research, they suddenly hired many strong individuals from the NW organization for security at their family residence.

My father was working at the NW organization at the ti, was part of that operation, and within a couple of days, the Liki family ended the security task with generous compensation.

My father is a very curious person.

He later secretly asked Pavel for information over drinks.

Guess why the Liki family hired so many people for security at their residence?"

Pavel was the NW’s field supervisor.

He was also a mber of the Liki family.

When the NW’s operations departnt was established, he was in charge of arranging interviews and other procedures, and had so personal connection with Dean.

Seeing Susan playing coy, Brian pinched Susan’s ear, "Is it because of Thor?"

Hearing this, Susan’s eyes widened, "How did you know?"

Brian nearly burst out laughing.

It was obvious, wasn’t it?

They were discussing Thor, and Susan brought up the topic, what else could it be...
