959: Chapter 959: Prisoner and Angel (Two-in-One ga Chapter, Request for Monthly Tickets) 959: Chapter 959: Prisoner and Angel (Two-in-One ga Chapter, Request for Monthly Tickets) The thoughts conveyed by the markers were disordered and chaotic.

It was like a madman mumbling in a chaotic storm, or as if the storm itself was howling sothing.

And these frenzied, mixed thoughts continuously replayed, eroding He Ao’s mind like pollution.

This madness seed unlike any He Ao had marked before, and mixed in this chaotic insanity, there might be more than just the voice of the “Black Snake” before him.

As He Ao listened to the chaotic thoughts, his gaze also swept around him.

Dozens of puppet-like figures were rapidly accelerating towards He Ao, their eyes still dull and lifeless, yet they had already taken their positions, moving crisscross and forming a large circle.

In the innermost part of the circle were He Ao and the gaunt figure of “Black Snake,” who carried the phantom of a giant snake’s head.

Outside this large circle, in the pitch-dark silence, it seed as though two or three scopes were erging out of the darkness.

In the distance appeared to be cannons on top of a building, dimly adjusting their angles.

Black Snake possessed a strength that was relatively strong among B-levels, only slightly weaker than He Ao when he activated Super mory and Fist Technique.

The puppet-like figures entwined by black snakes on their souls could exert a pseudo C-level strength.

Although individually their combat power was negligible in front of He Ao, a coordinated group assault could still restrict and damage He Ao.

Further out, controlled by gang mbers, auxiliary heavy Gauss Sniper Rifles and Electromagnetic Cannons could damage up to C-level.

If Linen’s body was truly B-level, these arms would only serve to restrain him, and the gaunt man had likely estimated that as well.

But Linen was just an ordinary, and due to issues with his promotion, even weaker than a typical C-level “C-level.”

Super mory and Fist Technique could only briefly enhance strength but couldn’t fundantally change the body’s structure, and they even imposed a greater burden on the body, so He Ao’s defense was still Linen’s defense.

Thus, these “weapons” could indeed harm He Ao.

This lineup could overthrow the top combat forces of a small city if placed there.

The clouds in the sky cracked slightly, casting pure moonlight that shone on the elderly man’s grey hair.

He Ao raised the Hawk Claw Knife in his hand, the sharp blade spinning a flower in his hand, and he refocused his eyes on the gaunt man before him, slightly nodding,

“Not bad, you’ve got so style.”

“This is my most powerful force!”

Hearing He Ao’s words, the gaunt man cracked a smile, his hands raised in a slight excitent.

Then he suddenly realized, being happy because of a complint from He Ao seed sowhat off.

His mind had been completely drawn in by He Ao’s two overwhelming attacks and comnts just a mont ago.

He imdiately bowed, his eyes ferocious as he stared at He Ao, “Old Geezer, you’re playing with , you deserve to die!!!”

Behind him, the nurous giant snake heads suddenly surged forward, screaming and flashing their erald fangs, lunging to bite at He Ao.

At the sa ti, those puppet-like figures also crossed forward, blocking He Ao’s escape routes while quickly launching their attack on him.

Watching the gaping monstrous mouths, He Ao glanced around and swiftly jumped sideways toward the gate, leaping over the heads of the figures closest to him.

At that mont, two figures from the rear jumped up, blocking He Ao’s path.

Sharp Sword Light flashed in an instant, and with a splatter of blood glowing with a green sheen, their necks were severedin.

At that ti, a dark shadow of a snake’s head had already peeked out, its nearly solid red mouth wide open, biting at He Ao.

He Ao imdiately spun out, slapped his palm on the shoulder of a figure whose neck he had cut, flipping forward, and dodged the grueso mouth.

The dead figure was then bitten by the giant mouth, green fangs piercing the body, and like ice thrown into fire, it rapidly dissolved and dissipated.

He Ao landed on the ground, looking up at the gaunt man who was supported in the air by a snake’s tail, rapidly “sliding” towards him.

The faint snake head illusion had almost solidified on his head, making him look like a monster with a snake’s head and a human body.

At that mont, within He Ao’s Divine Sense’s field of view, his body’s energy circuits were exceptionally chaotic, so even appearing out of nowhere and then disappearing just as suddenly.

His body’s largest energy convergence point was located on his neck, and there were no energy points in the head above the neck.

Based on He Ao’s experience, this thod of energy convergence likely indicated that the outer layer was not the gaunt man’s actual energy circuit, and that the visible energy point was fake.

His body likely had a hidden energy circuit.

Thus, He Ao had just tried cutting his neck, disrupting the energy point there.

The result of this test was clear, the gaunt man did not die even after losing his head, his body’s energy circuit was unaffected by He Ao destroying the energy point on his neck, he even regrew a head.

From the decay of a snake head behind him after regrowing his head, He Ao might need to kill him seven more tis, exhausting all the snake heads, to possibly see the next change.

This might also be the reason the emaciated man dares to call himself “Undead.”

For He Ao, Linen’s body wasn’t actually strong, it could even be said to be rather weak; he used “Super mory” and Fist Technique, which taxed his body, and he couldn’t maintain this for long.

He didn’t have ti to kill the emaciated man seven tis, especially with the emaciated man having so many ‘assistants’, and even after killing him seven tis, he might not truly be able to kill him directly.

So he needed a deeper understanding of the power structure within the emaciated man’s body, understand the ‘true source’ of his power to devise a way to break this ‘Undead’ situation.

He Ao looked up and observed the emaciated man’s back.

Under the ‘Super mory’ perspective, the man’s soul shadow now appeared like cotton dripped with ink, stained completely black by shadows, which connected to a Giant Snake behind him.

Bang Bang—

Gunshots echoed in the darkness.

Two bullets whizzed past He Ao.

The snipers were clearly specialists targeting Transcendents, they might even be low-tier Transcendents themselves.

Given He Ao’s high speed, ordinary people could no longer keep up with his figure; they could only rely on experience to predict his movents, but even then, their aim was not very accurate.

The snipers He Ao had previously killed also did not shoot very accurately, only grazing around He Ao, which He Ao then blocked with his knife.

However, this level was enough to disrupt He Ao’s movents.

As the bullets brushed past, figures quickly attacked again; the emaciated man seemingly did not anticipate that He Ao would break out so decisively heading towards the gate.

After all, by the gate there was his bunker, inside which was the Electromagnetic Cannon targeting He Ao, obviously more dangerous.

Caught off guard, the movents of the surrounding figures were sowhat slow, and the speed at which he turned his snake’s head was also delayed.

He Ao raised his Hawk Claw Knife, swiftly slashed the necks of several attacking figures, then his body flashed like an illusion, quickly pulling to the outside, now appearing at the edge of the encirclent.

In this extrely brief ti, he had breached the emaciated man’s first layer of encirclent.

“We should be eting for the first ti?”

He Ao sheathed his Hawk Claw Knife, swiftly pulled back his figure, looked up at the emaciated man who had recovered and was ragingly controlling the snake’s head to attack, “Why must you kill ?”

“You don’t need to know!”

The emaciated man roared, “Anyone who enters the Low-rise District must die.”

He Ao watched him, while continuing to move backward, rapidly sorting out useful information from the chaos in his mind.

Great Tutor’s orders?

Mayor is the enemy?

If there’s a chance to kill the Mayor, don’t pass it up?

“Is it the ‘Great Tutor’ you ntioned earlier who gave you the orders?”

Bullets coming from the darkness fell by He Ao’s side, exploding the hard concrete ground; He Ao sped up slightly, dodged the attacking snake’s head, then raised his hand to stab the Hawk Claw Knife into the heart of a figure attacking from the side, while continuing to speak,

“Is that ‘Great Tutor’ the Leader of the Prisoners’ Gang?

Are you collaborating with those opposed to ?

Who is that Great Tutor and where is he now?

Is the power you wield given to you by him?”

He Ao’s barrage of questions briefly stunned the emaciated man.

With madness intensifying, his brain seed increasingly unable to handle complex questions.

In the ti he was dazed, He Ao had already gleaned his own answers from the man’s chaotic mind.

The Great Tutor was indeed the Leader of the Prisoners’ Gang and its founder; the emaciated man’s ‘Enchantnt’ too was helped obtained by the Great Tutor.

But the emaciated man had never seen the Great Tutor in person; during each eting, his eyes seed shrouded by so shadow, unable to see anything clearly, despite now being the second highest ranked person within the Prisoners’ Gang after the Great Tutor.

This ‘Great Tutor’ really seed to have so cooperation with the Consortium, the emaciated man had seen people dressed in expensive suits, obviously working in the Consortium, co to et the Great Tutor.

However, from the thoughts in the emaciated man’s mories, this ‘Great Tutor’ didn’t seem to be a subordinate brought up by the Consortium as a ‘spokesperson’, but rather was engaging with the Consortium on a ‘mutual cooperation’ basis.

This suggested that the Prisoners’ Gang might not be entirely under the Consortium’s influence.

“You don’t need to know!

You’re going to die very soon!”

After a brief mont of ntal confusion, the emaciated man finally reacted and, with an angry roar, sped towards He Ao.

“Do you know where your ‘Enchantnt’ on your body was obtained by the Great Tutor from?”

He Ao’s body flipped to the side, dodging the attacking Electromagnetic Cannon.

But another figure intending to attack him wasn’t so lucky, instantly penetrated by the cannonball and exploded into flas.

As the billowing smoke and fire surged, another figure charged from He Ao’s left side, and a Giant Mouth of a snake attacked from his right.

He Ao glanced at the enemies on both sides, his body flickered for a mont, and he instantly moved back several steps.

The Giant Mouth caught the attacking figure, its erald fangs piercing through the entire body of the figure.

In Super mory’s field of view, the silhouette of the man, teeming with black snakes in his soul, seed to simultaneously be pierced by venomous fangs, decaying rapidly along with his body.

“Who bestowed upon the ‘Enchantnt’?”

At that mont, hearing He Ao’s question, the gaunt man raised his head, his gaze flickering with confusion.

In that instant, a tsunami-like surge of thoughts from the gaunt man’s mind twisted and exploded into He Ao’s mind through a marked connection.

Blood flowed from his eyes.

“Prisoner!

Prisoner!”

The gaunt man raised his hands high, his eyeballs filled with bright red veins, uncontrollably screaming.

He opened his mouth, his whole body dancing frantically.

The serpent’s head in the sky opened its giant mouth too, emitting a sharp shriek, then rushed towards He Ao at an even faster pace, frantically.

At this mont, He Ao had already reached the massive gatehouse, he looked up at the gaunt man.

From the fleeting thoughts in the gaunt man’s mind just now, he hadn’t obtained any logical thoughts, but one thing was certain—the existence that provided the ‘Enchantnt’, whether borrowing it or inherently being sufficient, would not have too low of a Positional Grade, at least not below an Angelic Tier.

This level of corruption was routine for He Ao, but for the gaunt man who was not a high-tier Transcendent but rely gained Extraordinary Power through external forces, it was a bit too overwhelming.

While pondering, He Ao also leaped up, landing directly on an abandoned small building in front of the gatehouse.

At this mont, a sniper who had been leaning over his black rifle was peering through a smart scope, searching for sothing.

Then he felt a cool breeze pass by his side.

In that instant, he didn’t hesitate at all, imdiately picked up the Gauss Pistol that he had just set aside, aid in the direction the wind had co from, and pulled the trigger.

But before the bullet could leave the barrel, a hand reached out, grabbed his neck, and sharply twisted it, breaking it.

He Ao let go of the sniper’s corpse and looked at the Gauss Sniper Rifle in front of him.

The rifle, nearly two ters long and exceptionally bulky, was fixed into the wall by several bolts.

It looked less like a rifle and more like a small ‘cannon’, and its power even exceeded many portable cannons.

He Ao crouched down, leaned against the sniper rifle, and directly removed the smart scope, tossing it aside.

At that mont, a silhouette, already very close, prepared to jump onto the roof.

He Ao aid the sniper rifle at it and instantly pulled the trigger.

Bang—

With a crisp sound, the whole house trembled from the enormous recoil of the firearm, and the approaching silhouette was instantly split into two.

Although these silhouettes possessed quasi C-level strength, their defensive abilities hadn’t reached the C-level.

Bang Bang Bang—

Then He Ao swiftly swung the rifle barrel, targeting another swiftly approaching silhouette, firing three consecutive shots.

With three bodies shattered, the rifle’s magazine was emptied.

This gun had a magazine of five bullets, and on the side of the gun, there were magazine holders with two fresh magazines.

He Ao swiftly changed the magazine and then grabbed the gun handle, pulling hard.

Bang Bang Bang—

With violent sounds, the screws fixing the firearm were forcibly pulled out, countless cracks instantly spreading across the entire wall.

He Ao directly picked up the gun, gauging its weight to be at least two hundred kilograms—a weight beyond an ordinary person’s capability.

Then, holding the gun in one hand, he jumped out the window.

At that mont, a giant serpent’s head also bit towards the window from outside.

He Ao directly stepped on the top of the serpent’s head, leapt forward again, and rolled onto the rooftop of the nearby gatehouse.

Another sniper was there.

Everything happened too quickly; before the sniper could react, He Ao had already reached him.

He tried to spin his sniper rifle to target He Ao, then was struck away by He Ao using the gun in his hand.

Then He Ao stored the Hawk Claw Knife, pulled the sniper rifle on the rooftop off its mounting forcefully, tore off the scope, and with one hand and one gun, aid at the figures below.

Bang Bang Bang—

He barely paused, quickly pulling the trigger.

The powerful recoil pushed his body backwards, his feet on the rooftop smashing the ground beneath.

On the ground, one figure after another exploded.

In the face of overwhelming numbers, firearms often proved quicker than close combat, part of his breakout was to retrieve the equipnt prepared for him by the gaunt man.

After emptying one magazine, He Ao swiftly flipped and jumped downwards.

Behind him, two snake heads bit the ground where he had stood, nearly lting the entire rooftop.

He Ao landed on the ground, shattering it, then rolled and took cover behind a low wall, quickly reloading his two sniper rifles.

At that mont, at the rear bunker gate, nurous gang mbers held their guns watching the action.

They gaped at the white-haired elderly man whose muscles bulged as he held a sniper rifle, weighing hundreds of kilograms, using it as if it were a small submachine gun.

Bang, bang, bang—

And with each loud gunshot, one after another figure rushing at He Ao shattered.

After two more magazines, the dense, fearless pseudo C-level figures that charged had been reduced to just a few.

“You should die!!!”

At this ti, the gaunt man finally reached He Ao.

Angry, he looked at He Ao as several snake heads hissed and struck towards him.

He Ao raised the weapons in his hands, crossing them in front of him.

“Your scrap tal will only be devoured by the greater power,” the gaunt man said, his tone crazed, giving a loud laugh.

Then, he saw He Ao raise both guns with a bang to block the two foremost snake heads; the guns bent slightly but did not lt upon contact.

He slightly widened his eyes.

By the ti He Ao let go of the guns and severed the Divine Sense covering the weapons, he had rolled forward, instantly closing the distance between him and the gaunt man.

Almost the instant He Ao released the guns, they lted.

Two nearby snake heads, lacking support, pushed forward, one serpent’s fang striking the body of the other.

Then, the two snake heads quickly retreated, but the spot on one that the fangs had touched showed clear signs of corrosion, and the green glow on its scales dimd considerably.

The gaunt man had no ti to pay attention to this; almost as soon as He Ao breached the defense and drew near, he quickly coiled his tail around his body, watching He Ao with a raspy, hoarse laugh,

“Old Geezer, you can’t switch with .

Even if you’ve broken my encirclent, you can’t kill !

I am Undead!”

As he spoke, the snake heads behind him quickly retreated, densely blocking the road behind He Ao.

Not far away, several electromagnetic cannons aid their muzzles at He Ao.

But this ti, He Ao didn’t lift his Hawk Claw Knife but instead stood in front of the gaunt man and asked calmly, “Who are you?”

“Old Geezer, are you senile?

How could you ask such a stupid question,”

the gaunt man laughed heartily, “I’ve told you before, I am…”

His words stiffened mid-sentence, and his facial expression froze for a mont.

It was then, in that instant, He Ao stepped forward, lifting his foot and kicking the gaunt man’s coiled snake tail.

The snake heads rushing at He Ao were once again thrown by the gaunt man’s figure, smashing into the electromagnetic cannons behind them and into the heavily closed iron door.

Then, with a “boom,” his body smashed through the thick iron door, rolling out.

He Ao turned around, raising his Hawk Claw Knife, slaughtering the last few attackers, turning his head to look at the gaunt man who had been thrown out.

He moved forward step by step, following the broken door, slowly walking out.

The intense pain, as if a thousand knives were scraping through, spread throughout his body; this body was already at its limit.

Around him, many gang mbers survived, holding submachine guns or Gauss Pistols, taking cover behind barriers, watching the slowly advancing elderly man.

Blood and corpses piled up beneath the Elderly’s feet, alongside broken electromagnetic cannons flashing with electric blue arcs.

The Elderly’s pace was so slow that it seed as if anyone who raised their gun could hit him.

But at this mont, no one lifted their guns.

They hid behind the barriers, trembling as they watched the white-haired Elderly man advance slowly, watching him as he walked through the gate.
