"What do you an?" Wild’s gaze slightly lowered, fixing on He Ao.

"I just want to say," He Ao restrained his smile and calmly spoke, "The intelligence agency doesn’t seem as safe as you’ve described, and concerning those involved with the Evil God,"

He turned his eyes, glanced at the white-robed figure in the darkness, and insinuated slowly, "They usually die quite miserably."

Wild’s gaze lowered, without directly responding to He Ao’s words, and said directly, "So you’re going to refuse ?"

"You really seem quite confident," He Ao smirked slightly, slowly speaking, "When did you have the illusion that I would agree."

Wild’s face turned completely dark, "I didn’t expect the Western Lion, known for his maturity and prudence, to resort to such sarcastic words. Don’t you think it’s too childish, like a child’s trick?"

"And you, a young man, getting angry over a few words," He Ao calmly looked at him, "How does that show your caliber?"

Wild was the typical narrow-minded and emotional type; conversing with such people, using direct pure verbal attacks is more harmful and easier to provoke the other party.

"You—" Wild’s face grew darker, then he took a deep breath, glancing at the ring in He Ao’s hand, "Old Geezer is eloquent, no wonder he enjoys such fa, since you are so ungrateful..."

"Hold on." He Ao raised his hand, quickly said.

Wild was about to utter harsh words, suddenly interrupted by He Ao, he raised his head to look at He Ao, "Are you ready to concede?"

"I have a question. I hope you’ll answer truthfully," He Ao looked at Wild, with a somber face, "Where did you send the bodies of those parade organizers you killed in Ains?"

"You want to know where your son is, right?" Upon hearing this, Wild’s previously somber expression lit up brightly, "There’s no need to elevate your son so much; he was far from a parade organizer, perhaps just an edge person, and even that on the outer edge, totally not among the core list of little figures."

He slightly raised his eyebrow, looked at He Ao’s sowhat drawn face, and continued, "I only arranged for the assassination of core mbers; your son was just collateral damage, coerced by those core organizers, I have no interest in caring."

"When did I ntion my son?" He Ao’s tone was calm while looking at Wild, faint purple light flickered in his pupils, trying to read Wild’s mory, but it was always a blank response.

"Isn’t it from investigating those of your subordinates who protected your son that led to you," Wild further smirked, "Otherwise, why do you think the Church of the Grim Reaper and Rockville Energy Group found you?"

He looked at He Ao, continued to smile, "I quite like a saying from ancient books, ’Remove the grass, do not remove the root; the spring breeze will blow them alive.’"

Speaking thus, his tone slightly paused, continuing slightly mocking, "Regretfully, my friend, even so, I must say, your son is just a marginal figure, not as important as you imagined. Killing him was rely incidental, of course,"

He lifted his gaze, staring at He Ao’s dark, golden-brown eyes, "I must admit, if I had known earlier he was your son, I would’ve spared him, given such marginal figures hold no value, killing or sparing makes little difference, however,"

He slowly leaned towards He Ao, continued speaking, "Even killing him makes no difference, rely more loss."

The white-robed figure in the shadow also accompanied his motion, slowly leaning towards He Ao.

Facing Wild’s words, He Ao just slightly lowered his head, narrowing his eyes quietly watching him, "Indeed, my son isn’t successful, you don’t need to belittle him like this, I know his status in his organization,"

He slightly raised his hand, playing with the Blood Surge Ring in his hand, "And even if he’s just an ordinary parade-goer shot dead by rcenaries, his death is more significant than your living."

"Ha," Wild sneered, "The Old Geezer is getting senile, starting to talk nonsense. A student with no social standing at all deserves to compare with ?"

He Ao rely calmly watched Wild, slowly raised his hand, purple light covering his pupils, "I’m not comparing him with you. A worm in the mud, no matter how plump, cannot be cleaner or more sacred than that tender green leaf, nor greater than an ordinary person lighting fires to warm others. You know, I rarely compare worms with people."

"Old Geezer." Wild’s expression turned thoroughly dark, and he instantly lunged, rushing towards He Ao’s body.

Simultaneously, the white-robed figure seed to receive his signal, quickly pulling out an Illusion Badge from his bosom.

At the mont this badge appeared, brilliance from the firmant lit up, illuminating the whole warehouse clearly.

That brilliance did not co from a single light but gathered in purple runes on the do, connecting together, covering the entire do and warehouse walls.

These purple runes flickered, covering the warehouse floor with purple radiance, appearing monstrous yet sacred.

Eventually, these lights and runes gathered at the top of the do, depicting a tightly closed eye pattern.

This darkened warehouse was initially a huge trap, a trap to lure a guest into the trap.

The eye on the do flickered intensely, as if real flesh and blood constructed together, seemingly ready to open at any mont.

Wild raised his head, his gaze filled with provocation and mockery, "Old Geezer, your greed pulled you into the Abyss."

He knew ’Hawke’ was severely injured and went to the top floor of Rockville Energy Group to find the local chief executive.

Since so, Hawke likely already learned about the dical supplies from Rockville Energy Group.

A severely wounded B-level, after knowing the existence of powerful dical Extraordinary Items, could not remain untouched.

Besides, Hawke also went to Rockville Energy Group rcenary Corps to provoke Roster Captain, logically and emotionally, ’Hawke’ was now very much lacking in dical supplies.

So, he doesn’t need to do anything, just set up traps near dical supplies, waiting for Hawke to take the bait.

Of course, he knew ti was tight, so he quickly reached an agreent with Stars Pharma, set up traps as fast as possible, waiting for ’Hawke’ to take the bait.

And clearly, his judgnt had no problems, Hawke indeed ’arrived as promised.’

Just that ’Hawke’ ca a bit too early, there were so places in the trap he hadn’t finished setting up, had to break the lights to speed up the setup.

He even prepared for a failed plan, ready to retreat imdiately upon conflict with Hawke, without absolute assurance, daring not to directly engage with the ’Western Lion.’

Who knows whether the opponent’s injuries were as severe as anticipated.

Fortunately, whether due to severe injuries or careless negligence, ’Hawke’ didn’t notice his moves, giving him enough ti to set up the trap.

Thus, he dared co out, confronting ’Hawke.’

Amid Wild’s slightly mocking calm gaze and the lunging body, He Ao rely raised his hand, grabbing forward.

Fierce flas instantly enveloped his body, sweeping to the side with surging heat.

His speed was much faster than Wild’s, arriving almost instantly at Wild’s neck.

But at the sa mont, the runes covering the sky flickered intensely, causing Wild’s speed to suddenly increase. In the blink of an eye, he dodged He Ao’s grasp, his entire body pulling to the side.

This speed did not belong to his original speed; it ca from so sort of invisible ’boost’.

And these boosts, clearly ca from those runes.

Watching his hand miss Wild, He Ao was obviously ’stunned’ for a mont.

Seeing He Ao’s stunned reaction, the corners of Wild’s mouth quickly lifted, and not far away, the White Robe Priest grasped the Illusion Badge in his hand.

At that instant, the runes atop the entire do suddenly shone with radiant light, and the eye at the center of the runes instantly opened.

A radiant beam shot out from the center of the do, piercing through part of the sturdy tal shelves, instantly erasing both the shelves and the Extraordinary Items placed on them.

Then, this light reached the front of He Ao, passing through He Ao’s figure.

The radiant light shone upon the earth, leaving no trace on the ground.

"Old Geezer, finally dead."

Wild’s body dodged away, increasing the distance, gazing at the spot where the light passed.

This strike, carrying the Position of an Angel, would kill even if the Old Geezer was uninjured.

His body landed on the ground, trembling the void, the ground illuminated by the light shattered instantly, turning into thick dust falling down, revealing the deep stones and a boundless black abyss below.

"Does the Illusion Badge have such a use?"

At that mont, a calm voice sounded behind him.

He turned his head, looking behind him, towards the place where the White Robe figure stood.

A hand extended from the void, gently grasping the Illusion Badge in the White Robe figure’s hand.

The White Robe figure imdiately tried to retrieve the badge, retreating backward.

But the badge seed as if fixed by space, not moving at all.

The White Robe figure lifted his head, looking towards the direction the hand extended, seeing only a pair of seemingly fla-burning bronze-gold pupils and a sowhat aged face.

His hand firmly gripped the Illusion Badge, the runes covering the entire do flickered intensely, the light significantly dimr than before.

A colossal illusionary bony hand over two ters high suddenly extended from behind the Elderly, pressing down, grasping the Elderly’s body.

Soon after, another hand extended from beneath the earth, pressing onto the ground.

A massive skull with a diater over two ters erged from the earth, its phantom body passing through the densely packed shelves, climbing out from the depths of the earth.

But that phantom hand landing on the Elderly seed solid, colliding with the Elderly’s body, gripping it tightly.

Yet, at the mont the enormous phantom bones erged, blazing flas erupted from the gaps between the fingers of the bony hand, enveloping the massive bony fingers, engulfing the enormous skeletal body completely.

And the bones struggled intensely, the flaming arms grasping the body below, attempting to tear it apart.

The blazing flas wrapped the phantom bones, and the White Robe figure imdiately raised his hand, trying to snatch back the badge from the flaming figure’s hand.

But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t move the badge a bit.

anwhile, the surging flas enveloped the entire skeletal structure, then suddenly contracted. The massive bones struggled, but it was like being tied by ropes, forced to contract with no change.

As the flas enveloped the bones, one by one phantom skeletons climbed out from beneath the earth, as if undead returning from the realm of death, rising from the ground.

They wielded phantom blades, quickly gathering, charging into the surging flas.

Soon, these phantom bones obscured so of the surging firelight, obstructing the contraction of the flas, even revealing so form of the massive skeletal structure trapped within the blazing fire.

Yet soon, the surging flas further roared, filling the revealed bones instantly, then further extending, spreading to the tiny undead.

The undead skeletons imdiately reacted, trying to escape the giant skeletal structure enveloped in flas, but before making any move, they were utterly consud.

Subsequently, connected by the link between undead, as well as the contact between them, the surging flas swiftly spread outward, covering all the undead erging from the earth, covering the entire warehouse.

The vast warehouse was lit up once more, but not by runic light, rather by the blaze of flas, much brighter than before.

The firelight reflected on the roof like flickering shadows, covering the now-dim runes.

In the deepest part of the fire, the blazing wrapped massive bone structure quickly collapsed, a fla-engulfed figure erged amidst the blaze.

He raised his hand, reaching out to cover the face of the White Robe figure, an old voice echoed through the surging flas, "Tell , what do you know?"

"No—" the White Robe figure opened his mouth, shouting loudly.

But before his voice fully fell, the surging flas completely devoured the White Robe figure, turning him into a blazing human torch.

His body struggled fiercely, even letting go of the tight grip on the Illusion Badge, but still couldn’t shake off the hand enveloped in flas.

Like a chick with its neck pinched, his entire body trembled, unable to move the flaming hand.

Wild stared in disbelief at this scene, montarily not understanding what had happened.

At that mont, he saw the fla-wrapped figure slowly turn his head, gazing at him.
