"Well, who needs help?" Sui sat on a box, biting a sandwich. She looked up, glanced around at the household buildings, and thought to herself, "It’s best not to leave ho, otherwise if Mom and Dad co back and can’t find , that wouldn’t be good."

He Ao remained silent for a mont upon hearing her words and pondered, "What if I’m the one inviting you?"

"Big guy, you’re in trouble!" Hearing this, Sui stood up with a swish and peeked curiously at He Ao.

"No, I might need to return to the place where this doll originally ca from," He Ao smiled, looking at the small doll’s body, and said gently, "I need the doll’s help. If you’re willing to go, that would be best."

"I see," Sui looked up at He Ao, holding her sandwich in her small hands, squeezing it flat.

Finally, she widened her eyes and slowly said, "If you’re inviting out, my price is quite high! At least a al of fried chicken!"

"Okay." He Ao smiled and nodded.

"Then shall we go?!" Sui, gripping her sandwich, seemingly made up her mind, looked nervously at He Ao, "But try to co back as soon as possible."

"Sure," He Ao looked at her, smiled, and asked, "So how are you going to leave with ?"

Sui glanced around and then swiftly climbed onto He Ao’s shoulder, sitting down.

She raised her hand like a general about to set out on an expedition, "Let’s go!"

In the movent, she lost her balance and almost slipped off He Ao’s shoulder, startling her into quickly hugging He Ao’s neck.

But her other hand was still gripping the edge of the sandwich tightly, sowhat struggling with her control.

"The salad dressing got on my face." He Ao chuckled.

Sui quickly retracted her hand.

He Ao pulled a tissue from the box on the table, wiped his face, and threw the tissue into the trash can.

"Shall we go?!" Then he turned his head to look at Sui, who was seated steadily on his shoulder.

"Mm!" Sui nodded while holding her sandwich.

He Ao, carrying his long gun case, once again entered his fingerprint, opened the door, and walked out of the room.

As his body crossed the threshold, Sui, sitting on his shoulder, trembled slightly.

He Ao quickly looked up at Sui, "What’s wrong?"

"The salad dressing fell." Sui pointed to the dressing on her skirt.

Then she thought for a mont, gently tapped her skirt, "Restore!"

The red dress instantly beca clean again, and Sui excitedly held her sandwich, "It’s good now!"

He Ao glanced back, by now, they had completely left the house.

At this mont, with Sui sitting on him, the ’restore’ power within him was maintained at its initial state, not fading.

13th Floor of the Three-in-One Building

He Ao raised his wristband, showing his permit to the association staff guarding this floor, and walked into the narrow corridor.

"Big guy, is this where you found the doll?" Sui, sitting on his shoulder, asked curiously.

"No, I need to go a bit further inside," He Ao said gently.

This floor still had so residents, and the Abnormal Association was arranging for them to move, asking the forr Black Wolf Gang mbers to find available apartnts, trying to accommodate people elsewhere.

But it wasn’t an easy task. One could tell from the people in the hallway; they weren’t very willing to leave.

He Ao walked through the scattered crowd, ignoring their astonished looks, and soon entered a narrow passage.

In the void, soft whispers seed to echo around He Ao’s ears.

"Big guy, soone seems to be calling from behind," Sui was also speaking softly at this mont.

"Yeah, I heard it."

He Ao nodded slightly, opened the long gun case in his hand, took out Vestara’s Spear, and held it in his hand, sensing sothing with his head lowered.

Then he looked up, gazing forward where black sand started flowing from the crack in the old wall.

He turned around, and behind him was a seemingly endless corridor.

"Big guy," Sui, sitting on his shoulder, said with so confusion, "we seem to be in another place."

"Yes," He Ao nodded slightly, "this is where I found the doll."

"Here?!" Sui looked up and glanced at the corridor’s dim lighting, "It’s really hot here."

"Hot?!" He Ao was slightly taken aback.

He looked up and glanced at the deep, narrow corridor.

From what he could sense, the corridor’s temperature was similar to outside, even a bit chilly.

"It’s just really hot," Sui seed a bit uncomfortable, rubbing her cheeks, "like falling into an oven. Big guy, when are we leaving here?"

"Soon," He Ao nodded slightly, he put the spear back in the case, looked at Sui, "I want to find so children, they’re shadows on the wall, can you find them? Can you sense those ’people’ ’active’ in this space?"

"Huh?" Sui seed puzzled, sitting on He Ao’s shoulder, seemingly pondering his words.

After a brief pause, she closed her eyes as if feeling everything in this space.

Then, in an instant, she opened her eyes.

She turned around, looking behind her.

"Did you sense anything?" He Ao asked softly.

"In that room behind," Sui paused and scratched her head, "soone said they want to treat to fried chicken."

He Ao chuckled, glanced back at the door she pointed to, and shook his head, "Don’t listen to them, they’re tricking you."

"Oh," Sui scratched her head, "people here are so bad."

He Ao nodded slightly, "Those behind the door are pretty bad."

He looked at Sui, "Did you sense those children?"

"I think so?" Sui scratched her head, "They’re playing together, I think I heard their voices."

"Which way to go?" He Ao asked gently.

"Forward!" Sui raised her hand, pointing forward.

He Ao picked up the case, following the direction Sui pointed, moving quickly forward.

Then, just past four or five doors, Sui suddenly turned her head, "Now they’re behind us!"

He Ao imdiately turned around and walked back.

After passing a few more doors, Sui suddenly scratched her head, "They seem to have run behind again."

"I see," He Ao turned around, crouched down on one knee, looked into the void behind him, took out the remaining leaf from his pocket, and said gently, "Can I use this leaf to exchange for a question?"

The dim light in the corridor cast his shadow on the wall, reflecting a brilliant shine on the green leaf in his hand.

As one of the materials He Ao used for carving the Spirit Gathering Array, the leaf had absorbed so ’energy,’ and even after a day, it still remained green.

"Big guy, why are you talking to the air?" Sui, sitting on his shoulder, hugged He Ao’s head and touched his forehead.

Right then, a slender shadow began faintly appearing on the dim wall.
