The dazzling stream of light overflowed from the black sealed box.

A slender long gun, over two ters in length, appeared in He Ao’s field of view.

Its tip was a semi-transparent diamond-shaped crystal, currently emitting a stream of light as brilliant as the stars at night, like fragnts of stars fallen from the sky.

The body of the gun was a slender, black pole, overall elongated, yet not entirely straight, with a natural curve at the fine points, like a straight branch broken from a black tree.

At the junction of the barrel and the tip, it was fixed by a matte black tal, engraved with small patterns.

Thump, thump, thump—the mont he gazed at the long gun, a violent roaring exploded in He Ao’s mind.

In that instant, he seed to stand on a battlefield filled with blood and slaughter, feeling the frenzied and desperate will to fight and rage.

"According to the instruction manual, this gun has a small side effect," the scarred man observed He Ao’s expression and introduced softly, "You need to determine whether you can accept its side effects."

Throughout his speech, he stood behind the sealed box, not lowering his head to look inside the box even once.

"Can I touch this gun?" He Ao raised his head and looked at the scarred man, speaking softly.

"Of course, you can examine the item closely," the scarred man smiled, "Before you confirm the purchase, we have an obligation to assure you of the completeness and excellence of the item."

At this point, he paused slightly, "However, I must inform you that this gun can be touched and viewed, but not used. If you use it, you must buy it."

"What counts as ’use’?" He Ao asked, looking at him.

"According to the instructions, ’use’ is defined as ’holding this gun for more than thirty minutes’ or ’using this gun’s abilities to interfere with mystic techniques and Extraordinary Power, or amplifying or weakening abnormal rules,’"

The scarred man softly explained to He Ao, "eting any one of these criteria is considered use, after which the transaction is imdiately completed, but we will temporarily hold the item until you pay the full amount within a maximum of two days."

"What if I don’t have enough money to pay the full amount?" He Ao asked curiously.

"Then the transaction will be canceled, we will deduct a delivery fee of 2000 federal coins and a breach penalty of 8000 federal coins from your deposit, and the remaining deposit will be returned to your account,"

The scarred man explained with a smile, "The Bounty Hunter Organization always engages in fair trade, don’t look at like this and think that I will engage in forceful buying and selling, we are a legitimate federation organization."

"It sounds like the cost of ’breach’ isn’t that high?" He Ao asked with a smile.

"Of course, we have mature transaction rules, but multiple breaches could affect your reputation within the organization, your bounty settlent cycle, and task eligibility,"

The scarred man introduced with a smile, gazing at He Ao, "However, I still need to remind you, according to the instructions, we do not recomnd breaching contract after using Vestara’s Spear."

"Why?" He Ao asked directly.

"The side effect of Vestara’s Spear follows the user for life," the scarred man said straightforwardly, without beating around the bush.

He Ao lowered his head, looking at the brightly shining gun in the sealed box, recalling what Reid said last night, everyone who uses this gun eventually went mad.

Not holding the long gun, but paying the price, indeed seems not very ’worth it’.

He reached out and touched the pole of the long gun.

Contrary to his expectations, although the body of the gun felt like tal, it wasn’t cold, more like touching a branch burnt by the scorching sun, carrying a gentle warmth.

As He Ao touched the gun, the roaring sound of the battlefield in his mind grew more intense.

In that mont, he felt as if he was truly slaughtering on the battlefield, despair and anger filling his heart.

This seed like so kind of twisted pollution, interfering with his cognition.

Hmm, overall, it’s normal.

Compared to the Angel Tier, Above Angel items’ pollution and interference in the Main World, this level of ’cognitive interference’ is comparable to a child’s grasp.

Realizing this, He Ao gripped the pole and lifted the entire gun.

Buzz—

Like a sharp blade being unsheathed, the dazzling brilliance scattered around in an instant.

"Mr. Loren," the scarred man quickly turned his gaze away from the long gun and said, "All the furniture in the room is custom-made, upscale furniture, any damage requires cost compensation."

As soon as his voice fell, the dazzling brilliance swept across his body, passing through everything around.

The entire void trembled slightly, but everything quickly returned to calm, causing no impact.

The scarred man breathed a slight sigh of relief.

He Ao gazed at the long gun in his hand, feeling the surging power of the gun body.

This gun did not carry information typical of normal Extraordinary Items, but he could vaguely sense so of its ’abilities’.

Apart from the introduced abilities, He Ao could faintly discern that this gun might have the capability to so extent to detect the presence of ’anomalies.’

However, it requires so trigger state, or being close to a trigger state, to be detected.

Anomalies in a dormant state cannot be detected.

However, it makes sense, to be able to amplify or weaken anomaly rules, the anomalies must be detectable.

Misty streams of light erged on the gun body, as if sketching out invisible energy veins, and at the junction of the gun body and the crystal tip, the dense runes on the matte black tal lit up, glowing with a mysterious sheen.

He Ao attempted to imrse his Divine Sense into this gun.

The gun body could not be imrsed.

The feedback perception was similar to the abnormal furniture at his ho.

He attempted to continue his Divine Sense upwards, reaching the black tal connecting the gun body and the tip.

This tal allowed partial imrsion, possessing so anomalous attributes but not completely an abnormal item.

Continuing forward, the diamond-shaped crystal of the tip could not be imrsed, indicating it was also an anomaly.

Almost instantly, He Ao made a judgnt.

This gun is most likely derived from so anomaly.

He withdrew his hand, placing the gun back into the sealed box.

And with his action and sound, the scarred man turned his head, looked at He Ao, and smiled, "Mr. Loren, do you like this item? It is a rare, powerful C-level item and the price is very affordable."

He Ao lowered his head, gazing at the gun.

Expressionless, as if in deep thought.

The scarred man observed him quietly, seemingly waiting for him to finish his contemplation.

After about ten minutes of ’contemplation’, a glimr of light flashed in He Ao’s glasses.
