The reason for his indifference was because its at was inedible. Its whole body consisted of deadly venom. Eating it would likely lead to death.

Seven days ago, after he’d killed the two-tailed serpent, he had co back to the cave and ditated. He did not expect that he would be able to sense the indicators for penetrating into the tertiary stage of the nascent realm.
