40 Chapter 40: Event(1)
Aadi lightly chopped Asty's head and said, "Why are you opening my history, little Asty?"
Asty sent a bolt of lightning to Aadi through his hand and said, "It's because it's fun rembering your dark history."
Aadi shook his hand and replied as he sighed, "Do you want to kill or what? Why are you giving this Primordial Chaotic lightning in this frail body of mine?"
Asty just rolled her eyes at Aadi's shalessness and turned to Aurora and answered her, "The war was happening because this master of yours destroyed their universe's cosmic valve. And don't ask what that is, as you don't have to know it now."
Aurora thought for a bit and asked, "So those people didn't attack master because he was already more powerful than them? Then why would they fight among themselves?"
This ti Aadi replied, "Don't think too much about it, they were just fighting for their survival. Basically, destroying the cosmic valve resulted in their death."

Aurora wanted to ask more, as she was interested in the outer world, but held herself back. She began thinking about Asty's last words. Although she wasn't obliged to save this realm, she wanted to fight against the Invaders.
Her reason was simple: when she reached a higher level, she would rember this realm as her starting point and the place where she t her master, so she didn't want the realm to be destroyed.
Aadi went towards a bookshelf and took out a book nad "Soul Overlord." He then went near Aurora and gave her that book, saying, "You have just read so small novels, so read this long one now. It's based on a world where spirit cultivation is the main focus. This will give you so ideas about how spirit works, and it'll be easier for you to understand spirit cultivation later."
Aadi then added as he looked at Aurora, "You have already reached the peak of Spirit Profound Stage, so first break through to Origin Profound Stage and stabilize your cultivation, then I'll teach you about spirit cultivation."
Aurora nodded in agreent, as she already felt that she could break through to the Origin Profound Stage anyti she wanted.
Aadi then looked outside from the window, but his focus was sowhere else. He suddenly smiled and whispered under his breath, "Looks like we'll have so fun, though they are just cannon fodder, so I won't waste my important resources. But I can't let them go easily, ke ke ke ke."
Asty looked at Aadi's smile and knew he was planning sothing in his mind. She just prayed that whoever his target was would rest in peace in the afterlife.
Aadi brought down his excitent and turned towards Aurora with a smile, saying, "Hey, you can reach Origin Profound Stage later. First, I'll show you sothing fun today. You can take it as your reward for your first win."
Aurora was confused but knowing Aadi, she was sure it would be sothing fun, so she just nodded.

In the bookstore, only Asty and Aurora remained. Asty shook her head in disappointnt and said, "I still don't understand why he even bothered to open this bookstore. He doesn't even take care of it. What if so custor cos now?"
Aurora stayed silent, as her mind was on the event Aadi was talking about. Asty also just lay on her cushion.
In a dense forest of tall, thick trees, two figures clad in full black suits were traveling by jumping from branch to branch. It was midnight, so in their black suits, they traveled unnoticed. They also wore wolf and bear masks on their faces.
They were soon out of the forest but they still traveled silently with very high speed towards a certain direction.
It didn't take long before they were standing in front a big maple tree.
The one with the wolf mask asked with a voice that was hard to discern, and one wouldn't be able to tell their gender by their voice, "Hey bear, why are we moving so cautiously in the town of mortals? And what is the mission? I just ca back from my previous mission, and I was sent here. It better be sothing good."
The one with the bear mask replied in a similar voice to the one with the wolf mask, "This mission has co from His Majesty himself, so you can understand the importance of this mission."
They began to walk stealthily around the town as the bear masked figure explained, "The mission we got this ti is to investigate a prodigy girl. We have found that she could fight against Peak Earth Profound Stage Artists when she's just a peak Spirit Profound Stage Artist."
The wolf masked figure was shocked and asked, "If there is such a prodigy in Kela Kingdom, why didn't our spies report about her to us? Was Kela Kingdom cultivating her in secret as their trump card? But it doesn't make sense to reveal her now when she's still weak."
There were many thoughts going on in both of their minds. Even the king of Coralhelm Kingdom was confused and wary of Kela Kingdom now, which is why he sent these two experts in stealth to investigate the prodigy of Kela Kingdom.
But he didn't know that he was just digging a deep grave and even covering it for these two by sending them to Aadi.
In a dark place, a low, crazy laugh echoed. The place was pitch black, so nothing could be seen. Then, a voice that could send chills down anyone's spine was heard.
