Chapter 23: The Boat
Jev and Bhadru flew away from the maple town at their full speed, only stopping when they entered a dense forest. They landed on the bank of a wide river.
Both of them couldn't hold on any longer and...

...farted out loud. They were panting heavily but stopped at the 'sweet' aroma. Quickly shutting their mouths and noses, they were feeling a little uncomfortable, so they jumped into the river.
After bathing for a full hour, they returned to the shore and smiled at each other.

The next morning, Jev arrived at the maple town very early and went to the bookstore. Arriving there, he looked at the bell button as if it were his biggest enemy and knocked on the door. He wouldn't make the sa mistakes as before.
Soon, the door was opened by Aadi, who smiled and invited Jev inside.
"It's okay, sir. We have to leave early, as there are other people who have also discovered the tomb," Jev reluctantly declined Aadi's offer.
"Ah, I see. Well then, I'll call Aurora," Aadi said as he went inside to call Aurora. Soon, Aurora arrived, full of enthusiasm. She was really looking forward to this adventure.
"Well then, we'll hand Aurora over to you and hope she returns safely," Aadi said with a sad expression. He looked like a father sending his daughter to school on her first day.
"You can rest assured. She'll be safe with us," Jev reassured Aadi and gestured for Aurora to co with him.
Aurora bowed in front of Aadi and said, "I'm going, Master," before heading toward the exit of the town with Jev.
Asty jumped over Aadi's head and said, "So we aren't getting much screen ti for a while, huh?"
"Yeah, I really want to skip this treasure hunt arc, but this is important for Aurora, so I'll deal with it for now," Aadi said, closing the door.
"Well, this is good. I can sleep in the anti," Asty said, content with her current situation.
"Well, I'll also finish reading 'Battle through the Hell'. You should try it, Asty. It's about a boy collecting Fires," Aadi suggested but saw that Asty was already in deep sleep, so he didn't continue
On the other side, after arriving outside the maple town, Jev and Aurora stopped. Jev then took out a small ball from his storage ring and infused his Profound energy into it.
Suddenly, the ball shot out from Jev's hand and turned into smoke. In just a few monts, the smoke cleared up, revealing a small 100m red-colored boat with runes engraved on it.
"As we're only a small kingdom, we can only afford this small traveling boat. Get on board. My team is just a distance away. After picking them up, we'll head to the tomb," Jev explained as he jumped on the boat. He thought that since Aurora was Aadi's disciple, she must have seen many high-tier treasures and might find this boat small.
In fact, it was the total opposite. Aurora had only heard about these fast-flying boats when she was in her clan. She was amazed by the sudden appearance of this boat. But the first thing Aadi taught her was to keep emotions in check and control her facial expressions. This lesson was taught when she was getting beaten, so she kept a calm expression in front of Jev, impressing him even more.
After both of them were on the boat, it ascended into the air and flew toward Wute City, where they were going to pick everyone up.
The boat's speed was very fast, and they reached Wute City quickly.
Jev stopped the boat a little distance away from the city and landed it on the ground. He then took out a red stone and infused his Profound energy into it.
This stone was engraved with runes and worked as a communication tool. By infusing their Profound energy, one could communicate with another part of the sa stone. It also worked for sending signals, which Jev used to signal everyone.
Aurora felt sothing and looked at a particular stone boulder a little distance away. Seeing nothing there, she felt strange and decided to be alert for anything.
At the side of the stone boulder where Aurora looked, a figure in a black cloak was sitting behind a tree, observing both Jev and Aurora.
"Interesting. She really deserves to be a disciple of an expert. She even detected , a Ruler Profound Stage Artist, with just her Spirit Profound Stage. What powerful instincts," the figure murmured, a smile forming on its face. It was genuinely impressed by Aurora's instincts.
