The ice-blue-haired Tar leaned into Jayden with intensity in his gaze.

Jayden’s heart was beating so fast he could hear it.

’Damn, I didn’t expect to see this man here. Is there any chance he knows who I am? What if he’s sensing Draco in right now?"

"Anything wrong W003?" The fla dragon tar muttered staring at them both.

The ice-blue-haired tar stepped away from Jayden, "Not at all, F012, I thought I felt sothing familiar in him, but I guess I was wrong."

Jayden let out a deep breath as the man left them, ’Whoa... I thought I was a goner just now.’

Jayden followed more quietly now. He was led to a room on the tenth floor.

There, the fla dragon tar talked to a man dressed in a white lab coat and, after that, handed Jayden over to the man.

Jayden studied the room. It resembled a hospital room because of the white bed at the centre, but the countless technologies all around the room made it look like it was a hospital ward for auto-robotics.

"Mister...." Jayden called out to the fla dragon tar, his face was worried, contradicting the energetic vibes he had while running around the organisation,

"What’s he gonna do with ?"

The dragon tar looked back at Jayden with a soft smile, "Nothing thats gonna hurt... just be a good boy."

"Don’t worry, boy, I’ll make things quick," the man in a white lab coat said.

Jayden nodded and sat on the bed as the man instructed with his hands.

’Just like in MAGEO’s headquarters, I’m cornered again and the only way out is the door where the fla dragon tar is standing, except I wanna jump ten floors down through the window.

He looked to the other side.

But Jayden, he wasn’t that terrified like he was supposed to be, maybe he was still acting calmly or like before, letting the future worry for itself.

The man brought a machine which looked like a tablet with a screen on both its front and back.

It was a beast stat scanning device, an upgraded version of the app Jayden used in checking his stats the day he awakened his core.

Jayden swallowed hard.

"Alright kid, open your eyes."

He positioned the photographic scanner on Jayden’s eyes and the machine read Jayden’s biological state.

After a mont the man dropped the device and began jotting down so things.

Jayden narrowed his gaze at the man.

’What were his results?’

He tried reading from the man’s writing, but it was that kinda of handwriting you had to get a microscope to read from afar.

And the man gave no expression at all, any human would have been shocked to see four cores in one body.

’Did the results co out negative? Or the man is just as emotionless as the Grand Tar Academy’s receptionist?’

The man raised his head, "Okay, now take off your clothes."

Jayden sprang out of bed, "You say what? I’m not gonna do that and besides, what kinda test is this anyway"

The man smiled, "Calm down, Logan, you can keep your undies, just take off your shirt."

Jayden crossed his arms over his chest as he took a step backwards.

"Wait, I do have the right to know what I’m being tested for right? What do you want from my chest" he scread.

"What a child," The man laughed, "see, the egg you were giving happens to be a very tough egg with sothing mysterious inside, but the egg we tested yesterday broke on our first attempt, so we just want to ensure nothing mysterious happened to you."

Jayden scoffed, ’liars’

But now he was so happy he had been read thoroughly in secondary school because now, he knew his rights and this was just the ti he needed to use them.

"So that was the reason for all this trouble. I really thought you guys were looking into my missing script, but all that was false hope.

By the way, nothing happened to , and if you still insist on checking, and it turns out I’m alright, then you guys are gonna pay for the damage, for wasting my ti and attempting to experint on without my permission.

The man’s face frowned a bit, "take off the damn—"

"Just cooperate, young Logan. If nothing is wrong with you, then we’ll pay for the damage." The fla dragon tar intercepted from the door.

Jayden smiled, but what if he had just been blabbing? Maybe the previous machine wasn’t functioning well, but that kinda luck wouldn’t slip by twice a day.

The man went ahead to a transparent machine that was six feet tall and shaped like a refrigerator.

He opened the door and nodded for Jayden to step in.

Jayden approached with bare chest. He studied the machine, swallowing hard before stepping in.

The man locked the door and pushed down a lever before running to another machine which had a screen that would display the results.

Jayden began seeing scanners flashing from up to the base of the machine, and red lights were scanning him all around.

He bit his lips, tension building in his chest.

"Damn... there’s no escaping this one."

The machine in front of the man began beeping.

The man’s eyes widened in shock, eyes flanking between Jayden and the screen, and even the fla tar rushed into the room imdiately he heard the beep sounds.

But then the sound died and the results displayed on the screen, suggesting Jayden was a regular human.

The machine had detected sothing but suddenly it vanished.

The fla tar reaction went from enthusiastic to frustrated.

Jayden could tell from their expressions that sohow the test didn’t play out as they expected.

The machine door automatically opened, and Jayden slowly stepped out, exhaling deep breaths.

First, the water dragon tar couldn’t detect anything in him, and even an upgraded version of the app he used in checking his stats just days ago didn’t work, like that wasn’t enough, a horrific machine failed to pick up any signals.

This wasn’t Lady Luck or any coincidence; sothing was happening behind the scenes.

"When do I get to go ho?"
