Crowne kept watch that night. He was alone, staring at the campfire that continued to burn in front of him.
His heart had been uneasy these past few monts. Sothing felt wrong. He felt it had sothing to do with Velrisa, but if that was true, he should have received a sign that Velrisa was in danger. Yet he did not receive anything at all.
And again, what happened earlier that afternoon.
The Thunder Wolves that had already been tad attacked them with a clear command. That was obviously not a coincidence.
"What is actually happening?"
Crowne stroked his chin. He felt that he must go et Silvara as soon as possible. His intuition was getting worse.
"Do you want to go after him?" Sylvara whispered.
Crowne shook his head. "No. I feel that our enemy this ti is very strong. It is better for you to continue training and also train the beasts inside the Dinsional Prison Ring. I will also look for a way to make them evolve quickly."
Sylvara nodded. "Alright. You can leave that to ."
Crowne closed his eyes, inhaled deeply, and exhaled slowly. His heartbeat was still unstable. That uneasy feeling continued to crawl inside his head. He was truly restless today. Even though he had just finished his mission.
Crowne turned toward Daisy who was leaning on his shoulder. He stared at her for quite a while. When he looked closely, Daisy’s face was very beautiful. Although her personality was a bit rough and she talked too much. Crowne imdiately shook his head.
"No. I do not need to think about that now. Rember your purpose, Crowne" he said to himself.
At first, Crowne only wanted to be free and leave the Valden family residence, but that goal had now changed. He wanted to find his mother. Whatever happened, he had to go to Moonlight City. That was where his mother was last seen, according to his father.
Crowne did not like his father, but for so reason he felt that his father was not lying. His father was indeed biased and did not like him, but he was not the type who lied. His words could still be trusted.
"What is Mother doing in Moonlight City?"
Crowne did not understand why his mother was in such a distant city. If she was still alive, she could co ho or et him. That remained a mystery. If his mother was doing sothing in Moonlight City, then what exactly was she doing?
Why did it have to be Moonlight City? Crowne truly did not understand what his mother was planning. The only way to know her purpose was to et her. And that was what Crowne was trying to do now.
"Wait for . I will bring you ho," Crowne said with firm determination.

The night was very cold. Crowne even shivered, but everything went smoothly. Nothing happened that night except for Daisy and Lina who did not wake up for their turn to keep watch.
Daisy bowed her head deeply. "I... I am sorry," she said softly while bowing repeatedly.
Lina also lowered her head. "We are sorry for not waking up last night. We fell asleep. That was our fault. We made you watch alone. Please forgive us."
Crowne, who was cleaning the campfire remains, paused for a mont and looked at the two of them. They looked down with guilt. Crowne scratched his head. He felt that this was a small matter. There was no need to make it bigger.
Crowne sighed, not out of anger. He was simply confused. "It is fine. Nothing happened last night. You were both tired after fighting the Thunder Wolves. I do not mind it. Now get in."
"Even so..." Daisy bit her lip. "I still feel guilty. You looked really tired."
Lina nodded quickly, her expression serious. "We will be more disciplined starting today. It will not happen again."
Crowne almost laughed, but he held it back because it would make the situation more awkward. He nodded.
He gave a small smile. "Alright. Do not do it again." Crowne climbed onto the carriage. "Co on" he said while extending his hand.
Daisy and Lina looked surprised, glanced at each other, and then smiled slightly. Daisy moved first, but Lina instantly blocked her.
"He offered it to . Not you," Lina said.
"What? Are you kidding?"
"Hahaha!" This ti Crowne could not hold his laughter.
Daisy and Lina stared at each other. Then both of them laughed as well. At that mont, Crowne extended both hands.
"CO ON!"
Both climbed together. Their journey continued toward Stromhall City. They still had three quarters of the journey left. It was still very far, but it would be a pleasant journey for the three of them. They also grew even closer.
**
It did not take long before they returned to the main road. After several hours, they arrived at a small post where rchants gathered. So horses were being brushed and fed, while two large wooden wagons were preparing to depart west.
Because the road was crowded with rchants, the carriage began to slow down. Crowne approached one of the coachn. "What is going on?"
The coachman explained what happened. Crowne nodded. He returned to the back and sat down again. He scratched his head. The journey would beco slower than it should be. The trip back to Stromhall City was much longer than the trip when they left.
"What happened?" Daisy asked.
"There is a group of rchants ahead of us. They are bringing a caravan. We cannot pass," Crowne answered.
"Can we not ask them to move aside for a mont?" Lina asked.
Daisy nodded. "Of course we can, but we must pay."
Crowne was shocked. "How much?"
"Probably around 20 gold coins."
Lina stood up. "That is ridiculous. This is not their road. How can they ask for paynt just to let us pass. Let talk to the caravan leader."
"I will pay them," Crowne said.
Lina and Daisy turned toward him. Shocked. "Are you insane?"
Crowne shrugged. "I need to be fast. There is no other way, is there? Making a scene will only slow us down."
Lina and Daisy exchanged glances and finally nodded. Crowne went to the coachman and asked him to accompany him to et the caravan leader. The coachman, without questioning much, guided Crowne to him.
Within five minutes, they returned. Crowne climbed onto the carriage. The carriage began moving and the rchants obediently moved aside. Daisy and Lina were shocked.
"So money really can solve a lot of things," they said.
However, once they passed, they saw the caravan leader, a man around 40 years old, holding his face. His face was bruised as if he had just been beaten. The two girls slowly turned to Crowne.
"Did you pay them to move aside or did you do sothing else?"
Crowne shrugged again. "Whatever it was, the result is the sa."
Daisy and Lina looked back at the man, then burst into laughter. They realized what happened and patted Crowne’s shoulder proudly.
"You are amazing," they said with thumbs up.
**
Crowne continued his journey for several days. He faced several obstacles such as a broken bridge, rocks falling in a valley he had passed before, and other problems. But he still managed to keep going. Until finally he was almost at Stromhall City.
From afar, the city gates beca visible. Crowne exhaled in relief after everything he had faced. They waited in line and were eventually allowed to enter.
But when they entered Stromhall City, Crowne stepped down from the carriage and his eyes widened at the sight. Houses were destroyed, dried blood stained the ground, and several townsfolk were walking with lifeless expressions.
"What happened?" Daisy said.
Crowne looked around. He was confused by what he saw. A city that was once so beautiful was now destroyed. He never imagined this could happen.
Along the road, many houses were half-collapsed from the attack. Whatever attacked Stromhall City made it look like this.
"It looks like a monster attack," Lina said.
Daisy nodded. "I think so too. If this were done by humans, the houses would not be damaged in this way. Even if an army attacked, the result would not look like this."
Lina and Daisy shared the sa thoughts. anwhile, Crowne remained silent. He still could not conclude anything because it could have been caused by humans, but humans with strong magic.
Crowne narrowed his eyes. "Is this connected to what happened to us on the way?" he thought.
The more he thought about it, the more convinced he beca that what happened during their journey was done on purpose so he would arrive late at Stromhall City, allowing the attack to happen. But it was strange.
"If I was here, would the attack fail?"
Crowne was not confident. He had not even defeated the King Kraken. He felt he was not strong enough to influence sothing this big.
He did not realize that King Kraken was extrely powerful. In that world, almost no one could defeat King Kraken. Even the strongest mages could not defeat him. The reason Crowne could not win was not because he was weak, but because his opponent was a being equal to a god.
King Kraken was the Sea God. He ruled the ocean, and Crowne fought in his territory. That was basically suicide, yet he survived.
"We must go to the guild imdiately. I think the guild master knows sothing," Crowne said.
Lina and Daisy nodded quickly. "Let us go" they said.
They hurried toward the guild.
