"Who’s hungry for so sushi?!" Rick shouted.
"Wait, no... that sounded corny."
"Ah, fuck it!"
"Let’s FUCKING go, everyone!!!" Rick scread.
The galodon’s jaws were so big that they could swallow a whole building. The rows of crystalline teeth were shining with a purple, corrupting energy.
Rick could sense the creature’s malevolent energy, a hunger that transcended typical predator instincts and delved into sothing twisted and grotesque. "I never imagined I would confront sothing that isn’t real in my world..."
"And it turns out... it’s real here!" He jumped.
As he jumped forward, his Draconic Sovereignty reached its highest level, and dragon scales covered his whole body to protect it. His claws grew longer and were surrounded by both dragon fire and demonic energy, making a swirling vortex of red and gold power around his hands.
"CRIMSON DEVASTATION!"
Rick’s ultimate skill activated, channeling all of his demonic and draconic powers into a single, lethal strike. He slamd his clawed fist against the galodon’s snout with such force that a shockwave erupted, shattering windows in nearby buildings.
The huge shark’s head snapped to the side when it hit the dock, which stopped its forward motion. The creature’s huge weight made the whole structure groan, and the wooden planks broke into pieces.
However, that attack wasn’t sufficient to halt the galodon, as its corrupted body absorbed the damage and began to heal almost imdiately.
Rick had made cracks in the wall, and purple energy flowed through them, putting together corrupted flesh. "Fuck...!"
"Who would’ve thought that this asshole has so crazy healing factors!" Rick yelled and rolled away as the creature’s tail ca at him with enough force to break down stone walls.
Carmilla was already on the move. Her Guardian’s Resolve made her an unmovable fortress as she stood between the galodon and a group of scared civilians.
"Rick! We need to slow down its healing factor! Hit the crystalline growths!"
"Alright!"
Zephyra shouted from the back. "She was correct!"
"The purple crystals on the galodon’s body weren’t just armor... they were corruption nodes that let the healing energy flow."
"Understood!" Rick’s level 50 senses enhanced his vision, allowing him to see the energy coursing through the crystals like blood through a body. "There! I spotted it...!"
Rick looked at Natasha and yelled. "Natasha! Stop the crystals now...!"
"I’m already working on it!" From her high place, Natasha’s voice rang out.
She raised both hands, causing the temperature around the galodon to plumt. Ice began to form on the creature’s damaged crystals, rapidly spreading across its massive body.
"RAAAGGHHHHHH!!!"
The galodon roared with rage, and its regeneration was clearly slowing down because the ice was blocking the flow of corruption energy. It thrashed around violently, and its tail made huge waves that could have flooded the lower parts of the port.
Zara took advantage of the chance. She moved in with demonic speed, her twin blades flashing as she hit the frozen crystals.
"TASTE THIS, YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Zara swings both of her twin blades at the sa ti.
Each blow was carefully planned to break the corruption nodes encased in ice instead of just chipping away at them. Pieces of crystalline corruption fell off, showing soft, raw flesh underneath.
"That’s it, Zara! Keep hitting those nodes!" Rick shouted, activating Demon Queen’s Wrath again.
A huge wave of demonic energy ca from his position and hit the galodon’s open side. When the creature’s roar changed into sothing that sounded like pain, corruption energy started to leak out of the broken nodes like poisonous blood.
But they had forgotten about the rider.
Rick felt a wave of corruption magic like nothing he’d ever felt before when the humanoid figure on the galodon’s back raised both arms. This energy was not the chaotic, mindless force associated with corrupted creatures, unlike what he had experienced when facing Zork.
This was a planned, directed effort that was also intelligent.
"Everyone, get into your defensive positions!" Zephyra’s voice cut through the chaos with clinical precision.
A massive sphere of corrupt energy swelled above the galodon’s rider, expanding until it matched the size of Sylvia’s dragon form.
Then it ca down, not toward the fighters on the ground, but toward the civilians who were hiding behind Carmilla. "It’s trying to hurt the innocent civilians...!"
"Oh no, you don’t!" Liora stepped forward, and her divine energy burst forth like a second sun. "Divine Aegis!"
A wall of pure golden light appeared, blocking the corruption sphere. The two forces hit each other with a sound that sounded like reality itself screaming.
Holy and corrupted energies canceled each other out in a huge explosion of light and shadow, but the distraction had done its job. Rick, still recuperating from the Demon Queen’s Wrath, witnessed the galodon’s jaws rapidly approaching him.
He saw the attack coming, but he knew he couldn’t get out of the way in ti.
Luckily... he was saved by Sylvia’s dragon fire.
A focused beam of gold-hot flas hit the galodon’s face, making it close its mouth and pull back. Sylvia ca down from the sky in her full dragon form, like a teor with fire around it.
She landed on the galodon’s back with enough force to drive it partially into the ground and yelled, "Nobody eats my consortother than EE!"
Her claws dug into rotten flesh and ripped through crystalline growths with the strength of a dragon.
The figure riding the galodon suddenly found himself face to face with an angry dragon queen. He attempted to raise his hands to cast another spell, but Sylvia’s tail struck him, sending him hurtling off the galodon’s back.
"Zara, stop that figure now!" Rick yelled.
"On it!" The demon general sprang into action.
She tackled the rider mid-air, slamming him into the ground with enough force to create a crater. Before he could rise, her two blades were poised at his throat.
"Stay down," Zara growled, and her demonic aura made the air feel hot.
Sylvia was causing trouble again on the galodon. Her claws dug into the creature’s back, her dragon fire burned away the bad things, and her weight kept the huge shark from moving, but the galodon wouldn’t give up.
It started to roll, trying to crush Sylvia against the dock with its huge size. She had to fly away, and her wings beat furiously to get her higher before the creature’s full weight could hold her down.
The galodon lunged at Rick once more, its massive jaws gaping wide. The speed at which it moved was terrifying for a creature of its size, driven by corrupted muscles that granted it unnatural strength.
Without hesitation, Rick activated Blood Price. He thought his health had dropped by thirty percent, but the trade was worth it.
His attack power tripled right away. A red-gold aura that surrounded his whole body was made up of demonic and draconic energies.
"If that’s what you want, then co here and get my ass!" Rick planted his feet and pushed back against the charging galodon with his new strength.
His claws dug into the lower jaw of the creature, keeping it open with sheer willpower. "I’m not going anywhere!"
The galodon pushed harder, its sharp teeth only inches from Rick’s face. He could feel his feet sliding back over the dock’s stone, carving deep grooves into the surface.
His arms scread in pain, muscles straining to their limits despite the extra strength he had.
"Rick, get down!" Carmilla’s urgent voice shattered his concentration.
